If you are looking for a place with good food and different drinks, this is the place. excellent waiters. The music is great also.

This place surprised me! The service is extremely good with a range of very polite and informed waiters! I have no words to describe the drinks! It’s just perfect: taste, size, price! The food is very good as well and the waiters help you to harmonize with the drinks!

Visiting from New York with a friend and found this place on google. Came on a Mon night. Food and drinks were good. So was the service. Prices are reasonable too. 2 meals with 3 drinks can cost around R200+.

I dont often write reviews here but damn this place is worth it! Incredible food , incredible drinks. Still very Brazilian, but not samey and boring like you'd find in other spots! Also, great ambient!!

Segunda vez que venho ao Meza. Me tornando fã. Lugar muito estiloso! Sou mais de cerveja, mas eles capricham nos drinks bacanas por aqui. Vim num sábado à tarde e me ofereceram o cardápio de Brunch. Escolhi o pão de queijo com linguiça + arroz jamabalaya + pão com ovo, bacon, queijo e curry. Tudo muito gostoso. O mais sem graça era o pão com ovo, mas ainda assim gostoso. Curto muito o ambiente, o estilo, as comidinhas. É um ambiente pequeno, então não comporta bem grupos muito grandes. Mas pra grupinhos menores é simplesmente perfeito pra petisquetes e bebidinhas. À noite sempre tem uma espera, mas o staff é super educado e atencioso, e você pode esperar lá fora saboreando os drinks e comidinhas. Super recomendo.

I ABSOLUTELY loved Meza Bar. From the decor to the service to the cocktails, everything here was totally on point. We stopped at Meza Bar for a few cocktails, and we ended up trying almost the entire 'Caips' cocktail menu. Between the four of us, we had five out of the six cocktail offerings! The best part about all of this was that if you're not wanting alcohol in your beverage, you have the option of having coconut water or soda water instead! For the alcohol options, you can choose cachaça but also Ciroc/Ketel One/Smirnoff vodka or sake. I wish we could have stayed here longer. Our server spoke English and gave us some great recommendations for our drinks! I HIGHLY recommend coming here for drinks if you're around Botafogo!

Very cool place on Botafogo with a tradition of good dinks and definitely come for the saturday and sunday brunch!

Cute bar. Nice vibe. I didn't get our server's name but she was THEE best! She was very accommodating and spoke just enough English to help us with our experience. Overall, just a sweet girl. And, our mini burgers were so juicy! My drink - I didn't get the name but it had pisco, lemongrass and vanilla - was delicious. Definitely a nice spot for a quick bite to eat or lounge for a bit. :-)

Amazing spot. Ambience is chill, hipster. The drinks are great ( even were able to do a great old fashion ) and the best part is the service. Our waiter was Isaac who spoke over 4 languages and was so helpful. Be greeted us, introduced himself, gave us recommendations and then even gave us valuable tips for exploring rio. This place is a bit hidden but ask a cab driver. It's worth the trip.

Wonderful drinks! You definitely must try the martinis! Penny lame and lemon pepper = delightful!!!!!the food is pure pleasure. Nice cool atmosphere! Ideal for a date or calm night with friends!

Great experience at Meza Bar. Our server was extremely friendly and had some great suggestions, not to mention stories. The atmosphere was very welcoming, yet trendy and cool. They had a nice selection of long drink cocktails and different types of caipirinhas. Tried "vertigo" and "batida de pacoca". Good spot for a night out in Humaita and partying it up with cariocas.
