The location is great and the food is amazing and unique, so I'd definitely come back. However I'd love the staff to be more welcoming. Also, something I didn't like is that they didn't give us the desert on the house, even if for other tables they did (it's not about the value, but about the gesture).

My wife and I shared three different small plates. Each was quite good and well presented. By the time we arrived at 8 o’clock, there were only two things left on the daily specials menu (which had about a dozen things originally). It also seems that they’ve taken quite a few things off of their menu. Our server said that it had been very busy during the day, and they all seemed exhausted. I think what was missing was the feeling of welcome that we’ve experienced in most other Greek restaurants. Like you’re joining them at the Family table.

Exception food & ambience in old town. Tried their tuna w/ veggies, lamb w/ potatoes and beans in tomato sauce all of which were incredibly delicious!

25th of March a date to remember! We had the best cod fish with skordalia, and possibly the best french fries I had for a long time! The crew very welcoming, atmosphere very inviting and tables are well placed, you don't feel like sitting on top of each other like other places. Very recommended place, and we will visit for sure once again and will write another review of the quality remained the same!

An excellent Greek restaurant serving traditional, meticulously prepared and delicious dishes. Excellent service and a good atmosphere. We were a group of 16 diners. Everyone enjoyed . Highly recommended!

Wonderful local restaurant, away from the touristy parts. Loved every minute here. The service was delightful and the food was sensational. We shared a garden salad and roast chicken. Yum! Yum! Yum! Exactly what we wanted and got a home style chef feed. Great price. Great atmosphere. Must eat here.

We dined at a traditional Greek restaurant in the heart of Nafplio, and it was an extraordinary experience. The menu offers a variety of local dishes, all prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The Greek salad was crisp and full of authentic flavors, while the tzatziki was creamy and perfectly balanced. The zucchini fritters were fragrant and flavorful, the fried cheese was crispy on the outside and soft inside, and the moussaka was simply divine, with perfect layers of eggplant, meat, and béchamel. Everything was exceptionally good and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was authentic and charming, perfect for immersing yourself in the local culture. I highly recommend this restaurant for a true Greek culinary experience!

We were recommended this place, and I'm glad we were because I'm not sure we would have found it on our own. This jewel of a restaurant is tucked away on one of the side streets of Nafplio, but you still need to show up right when they open if you want a good table outside. Our meal started with the house white wine (excellent, to no surprise), fried sardines, and marinated anchovies. My wife has ordered a version of these sardines everywhere we have gone in Greece and she felt that this was one of, if not the best version of this dish she had on our trip. I can say the same for anchovies, which I also have ordered at every chance I have had. For our mains our server recommended the lamb with artichoke and moussaka. On any other day, the lamb would be an absolute winner of a dish, but today the moussaka became one of the best things I have EVER ordered. If you come here please try this and let me know if you feel the same. I've been to other restaurants since and have not found any version that compares to what I ordered here. Top to bottom, from the service, to the food and drink, atmosphere, and price, this was one our all-time culinary experiences.
