Great food and obviously right in Greek Town. Very accessible and the wait was reasonable for a Saturday night. Wait staff took a bit long, perhaps due to the people. Food was amazing and no complaints at all. Will definitely return! Note: the outdoor seating also is covered, so even during inclement weather, you’d be ok.

Came for the first time to celebrate my birthday with the fam after our friends suggested. We were quickly seated, no wait time, and practically immediately started getting served despite the fact that the restaurant was full and busy. The waiter serving us was super friendly and polite, constantly coming up to ask how we're doing and if we needed anything. Customer service of this level is really rare these days, so it feels good to compliment 😊. The food choices were great. Tasted well, but not as intense in flavor for our liking. Nevertheless, it was a great experience and I will recommend the place to others. Will definitely come back. 👌👌🔥🔥🔥

Have not been here in more than a decade and surprised they had a new location. Still very nice atmosphere w a lot more space. Service was great and the food was as good as I remembered. Only minor gripe I could point to was the requested medium lamb chops came in well done and most meats in the platter were a little more charred than I like but they were still juicy and tender and still very enjoyable. The pork souvlaki sticks we ordered separately were perfect though.
Considering the pricing elsewhere these days, Mezes prices were really good and looking at entrees portions at other tables great value. Would totally recommend this place. Just parking could be a challenge but ones you are there it’s a nice area to walk off the proteins you collect here.
Old location is take out only but w their value I suspect it gets really busy too! Glad I’m nowhere close as otherwise I can say good bye to my diet.

Transport yourself to the sun-drenched shores of Greece at Mezes, a not-so-hidden gem that really hits the spot. From the moment you step inside, the warm ambiance and friendly staff create a welcoming atmosphere.
But the true star of the show is the food. The menu boasts an impressive selection of authentic Greek dishes. For seafood lovers, the fried calamari is an absolute must-try. The tender squid is cooked to perfection – crispy on the outside, melt-in-your-mouth delicious on the inside. It's honestly some of the best calamari I've ever had – a true testament to the chef's skill.
We also ordered ouzo which is a typical Greek drink that we like to drink with ice 🧊.
The restaurant doesn’t take reservations unfortunately so you would have to come early otherwise prepare to wait, but it will be worth it!

Beautiful casual dining experience with some great Greek food! Definitely get their dip to start! Their lamb and chicken dishes were delicious and came in gialgantic portions. They also had a very large vegetarian section which was very accomodating. Be prepared for a wait if you do a walk in as they are usually busy all days of the week.

Went last Friday to celebrate the return of spring. They were able to seat a table of 5 with no delay which was amazing for 7:30pm-ish
Love the look of the new place but it becomes loud in a way it didn’t seem to compared to the original location. Barely able to hear each other
Food arrived fast. All was good except the rice. Absolutely terrible. Rubbery and bland. That would have been the only food option that was objectively bad
Also got the small dip and while I didn’t like the baba ghanoush and the salmon dip. They were very well prepared and everyone else at the table loved him. The small dip plate is enough to feed several people as long as you’re not taking spoonfuls of the dip with the pita bread.
Otherwise, it was a good dinner great company. The staff was friendly and prompt and is one place that we always love to visit

Amazing place to eat! The food is excellent and the service is quick. The tzatziki is amazing. The only thing I would note is the octopus was a bit over cooked which was disappointing because it was the most expensive thing we ordered but it was still good.

One of my favorite greek restaurants on the Danforth. Beautiful decoration, greek staff and delicious food. You can share small plates if you want, what makes it fun. Very greek menu (didn't know what most of the menu referred to), but of course chicken souvlaki dinner is pretty good. Loved the hummus, tzatziki and the spiced feta cheese. Their greek salad is also delicious. Pretty fancy and chilled atmosphere. Perfect for a table outside on a beautiful summer day or a table downstairs for a more private ocassion.
