I recently stayed at a hotel that turned out to be an absolute nightmare. The reality of the place was nothing like the enticing description I read on their website and the booking platform. Here are just a few of the numerous issues I encountered during my stay:||1. Misleading Description: The hotel's online description painted a picture of a luxurious apartment. However, upon arrival, I was shocked to find that the WC in the apartment had no door. This made it practically impossible to use if you were not alone. This lack of privacy is unacceptable for any accommodation claiming to be of a higher standard.||2. Room Change but No Refund: After complaining about the WC situation, I was moved to a different room. However, I was not refunded the price difference between the original room and the new one, which was a downgrade. It is unfair and unprofessional for the hotel not to provide compensation for the inconvenience caused.||3. Insufficient Amenities: The room's shower was a disaster. It only provided a maximum of three minutes of hot water, leaving guests waiting for it to heat up again. This is unacceptable for a hotel that supposedly boasts a four-star rating on booking platforms. Additionally, there was no reception or room service available, making it difficult to address any issues promptly.||4. Disappointing Breakfast: The breakfast provided was abysmal. It was incredibly poor in variety and quality. To make matters worse, despite the booking claiming that coffee would be available in the room, it was only found in the kitchen of the house, and the staff didn't bother refilling it. Furthermore, there were no apparent tissues in the room, a basic necessity that should be provided in any decent hotel.||5. Catastrophic Room Arrangement: The arrangement of the room was a catastrophe. It was evident that no thought had gone into maximizing the space or providing a comfortable environment. I deeply regret every euro I spent on this facility, and I cannot emphasize enough how disappointed I am with the entire experience. ||To top it all off, the owner's behavior was arrogant and unapologetic. There was no acknowledgment of the inconveniences faced during my stay, let alone an apology. I strongly advise against choosing this hotel and suggest finding a different place to stay. Trust me, you'll save yourself from the headache and regret that I had to endure.||To be fair, I must mention that the building itself had a charming exterior, and the garden surrounding the hotel was quite pleasant. These were the only redeeming qualities of the place. However, it's important to note that the external aesthetics alone cannot compensate for the numerous shortcomings and disappointments I encountered during my stay. The issues with the facilities, amenities, and service overshadowed any positive aspects the hotel may have had.
