Mesón Panza Verde

Meson Panza Verde is a GORGEOUS hotel! The staff is friendly and very accommodating. I was surprised to learn they offered hot breakfast before 9:30a which was a big bonus because I didn't know that when I made the reservation. The food service is delicious for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We also got a complimentary drink ticket upon check-in which was a nice welcome. The hotel is also close to a lot of museums, shops, markets and restaurants. I am so glad I found this gem. Highly recommend staying here, it's very romantic. 10/10!

This was our 2nd trip and both times the visit was outstanding. This place have true old world charm. Rooms are unique and fantastic. The staff was excellent and helpful. During your stay I highly recommend their restaurant, has to be the best in town and would be in most towns.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel - stayed here for a nights. You con walk every where. The room we stayed had two twin beds. The room was small, but very clean and we had a nice courtyard off our room.||We had breakfast at the restaurant and it was great.|The staff was very nice throughout our stay, I would highly reccomend the hotel.

Booked this hotel based on a friend’s recommendation. Loved it! Was milestone birthday visit for us, totally pleased and already planning the next visit this year! We stayed four nights in Suite 7, which was even nicer than described on the website. Quite large, especially for a couple, and was very comfortable. The restaurant was excellent too! Breakfast everyday of our stay was included, and so good was well dressed and English speaking Guatemalan wait staff. We loved it so much, we even had lunch there twice and dinner once! White table cloths during the day, black at night. The food was wonderful, fresh, local, and served in generous proportions. Loved it. ||The concierge and front desk staff were wonderful, professional yet personable. The manager was always around during the day and was super hospitable and helpful with suggestions for places to go and things to do. ||Again, everybody here was wonderful. Don’t forget to visit the rooftop! Views of the city and open day and evenings. ||Note— lots of stone steps, would be tough to navigate if physically disabled. The pool is a lap pool, limited hours, but in a gorgeous setting. Onsite parking if needed. Extremely well round hotel. And within a short walking distance of the downtown!

This was one of the nicest and most beautiful hotels we’ve stayed at. It’s quaint, luxurious, romantic, and everywhere in the hotel makes for a lovely photo. We are now debating if we should now have our wedding dinner here instead of the other place!

We loved staying here. Our room (#3) was lovely. At first we were worried because it was right by the restaurant, but it is totally quiet. It also had a nice porch area where we could open the doors for and enjoy a bit of a breeze. The service was wonderful and the complimentary breakfast was excellent. There is free parking at the premises too with a security person. It was easy to walk around town, and the location is great. We would definitely stay here again.

The entire staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel and the rooms are unique and beautiful. The margaritas were delicious. The included breakfast was very good. I love the location. Overall great experience. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Antigua.

Excellent hotel with spacious, luxury rooms. Beautiful inner courtyard. The staff is very accommodatable and professional. Service was exceptional. Food was fantastic and the bar/speakeasy added an elegant touch for a cocktail. We will be back!
