Mezzo Music Restaurant

We expected to enjoy our meal but it was not just good, it was outstanding. I had one of the daily specials which Google translated to 'Borzaska from Mátra with mashed potatoes'. So delicious! My husband ate a meal from the standard menu which translates to 'Mustard tenderloin with sour cream'. The meat sat on langos. He loved it. He said the flavours were amazing. The service was all you could wish for. Attentive, friendly and professional. I write this as we sit at the Budapest airport sadly leaving this beautiful country. If we were staying longer we'd return to Mezzo to try some other dishes. We recommended it to friends who plan to eat there before leaving Budapest in 3 days. Although Australians, we lived in Hungary for 21 months until 3 years ago and would now rate Mezzo Music Restaurant as our favourite restaurant because we were so impressed with our dinner there 2 nights ago. Very reasonably priced too.

We are leaving in Michigan and have been in Budapest for family re-union. Choose this restaurant for six of us, we took different food and drinks, everything was amazing. We all enjoy the place. I was living in Europe, visited many times Japan and Canada so I can compare, this is one of the best restaurant I have ever been, fantastic atmosphere, live music, perfect staff, very, very reasonable prices. Already recommended this place to our friends from US who are going to visit Budapest.

Nice place, nice ambient, nice music. Food was very good, wine card is also good. I would not recommend floating boat for dessert, as far as I know, it should be done differently. Venison was great. Prices are more than fair.

Beautiful restaurant with live music away from the bustle of the city center. I totally recommend for a relaxing evening dinner/late lunch. The dinner was relatively affordable and portions were large enough. The restaurant is group friendly, staff are very pleasant and helpful

Great atmosphere and very good service! The food is very tasty and fairly priced. And I haven't even gotten to the live music yet... We went here two days in a row. Definitive recommend!

Menu is regular, nothing fancy, but the food was ok. We were 8, but some of the food was almost cold when served... Be cautios with the chef's menu!! Beware as they try to be creative... and ended up serving for us practically raw squid as "grilled". Side choice was quite bad too. Better to improve here...

Classy place with great food and good service. The staff was very attentive during our visit. The restaurant is quite stylish inside. The kitchen is great, they prepare the food with great care and they are delicious. The menu could use a bit more vegetarian options but they can customise their food on offer and prepare some of them in veg option too.

The restaurant is close to the Deli railway station. The staff was very professional and polite. For lunch I had Beef cheek with Vadas sauce and bread dumplings. The food tasted amazing, and I can only give recommendation to people to visit this Mezzo Music and enjoy in great food, service and atmosphere!
