I can’t stop thinking about my night at Mezzrow—it felt like stepping into jazz history. Tucked into a cozy basement in the West Village, the place has a speakeasy vibe: exposed brick walls, candlelit marble tables, and that faint rumble of the A Train underneath that only adds to the underground charm.
The acoustics are phenomenal, filling the room without overwhelming it, and the room is so small (about 30 seats) that you’re literally a couple of feet from the musicians.
