MHOUSE Hotel Palma

We love the standard of the hotel, in the middle of the city... And yet an oasis of calm. There was a big party on a Friday evening, which took place in the entrance area and the beautiful inner courtyard. There were lots of people and an exuberant atmosphere, but it was correspondingly loud. We think that for a hotel of this size, it is appropriate to point this out to the hotel guests, as many would not have been able to sleep at all with this noise. Thank goodness we are not too bitchy! During the day, there were service staff in the foyer talking loudly, but no one ever thought to ask if you would like a drink if you were sitting in the courtyard. Some training is still needed. If you were in the room during the day, the staff talking is so loud that it gets annoying at some point. Apparently there's not that much to do. There shouldn't be. When you come downstairs in the morning, nobody at reception says "good morning". The rooms are really nice and it's a great place, but the management needs to invest in staff training again.

The MHouse is centrally located with easy access to all local amenities and facilities. A good base! It is a typical boutique type hotel! The staff were friendly. The onside facilities were good although the pool was rather disappointing. A pleasant stay. Generally good value and worth a stay!

Lovely hotel in a great central position. Unfortunately that's where it ends, the smallest bathroom you can imagine. While we were there the air temp was in the middle 30's and the room air conditioning would only work in one of the 3 rooms. The manager discounted our stay but this didn't help our discomfort.

MHOUSE Hotel is truly beautiful – boho style, all new, with a very comfortable bed and spacious enough rooms. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the location is great. Breakfast was average, but perfectly fine. However, there’s one serious drawback: the NOISE. It feels like there’s zero sound insulation – every step in the hallway sounds like it’s happening right in your room. And from outside? You’d expect city noise in a big urban area, but this hotel is on a surprisingly loud little side street. Unfortunately, previous reviews weren’t exaggerating: if you’re sensitive to noise, think twice before booking. At night, empty bottles are dumped into bins, trucks beep while reversing to make deliveries, and the freight elevator thunders like a recycling plant – from midnight to 1 AM, and then again from sunrise until breakfast. Screeching brakes, clattering crates thrown onto metal beds – it’s clear that surrounding businesses don’t consider the fact that a hotel is right next door. It’s a real shame, because otherwise, this hotel could easily be a hidden gem.

Very central, clean boutique hotel in Palma. We’ll also be staying here for our wedding on September with our wedding party! The staff is very helpful- shout out to Dania for helping us with rooms and guests ahead of our wedding. Definitely would recommend staying here if you’re visiting Palma.

I think the photos on the website set an unrealistic expectation. Our room was in a basement so was very dark and looked nothing like the pictures. There was always a cleaning trolley blocking the stairs and the room seemed a bit damp. There was not good ventilation in the shower either. The breakfast was very average, only one member of staff was working so we constantly had to ask for things to be topped up or even to get plates and knives. There was a very friendly lady on reception when we arrived but once I had to ask for something (the shower gel to be refilled) and the guy was incredibly rude. It's a great central location and I'm sure some rooms look like the pictures but be aware the ones in the basement definitely do not.

Based on the reviews I expected a nice and comfortable room. The room was ok, but its window (covered with black foil) facing a yard with a very loud ac spinning up every half an hour. Even with window closed it’s still loud. And it rules out opening a window. I turned on the ac to have some fresh air from outside, but it was heating instead, there was 26C in the room in the morning. The room feels like a bunker.

All OK really, couldn't turn the air con down (hotel policy?) so was a bit warm during the night. The toilet was over flushing which you could fix by repeated flushing, bit annoying. Main gripe was breakfast which I thought was poor. The toaster broke and everything was just meh, not great at all. Overall tho nice hotel in a good area.
