MHOUSE Hotel is truly beautiful – boho style, all new, with a very comfortable bed and spacious enough rooms. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the location is great. Breakfast was average, but perfectly fine.
However, there’s one serious drawback: the NOISE. It feels like there’s zero sound insulation – every step in the hallway sounds like it’s happening right in your room.
And from outside? You’d expect city noise in a big urban area, but this hotel is on a surprisingly loud little side street. Unfortunately, previous reviews weren’t exaggerating: if you’re sensitive to noise, think twice before booking.
At night, empty bottles are dumped into bins, trucks beep while reversing to make deliveries, and the freight elevator thunders like a recycling plant – from midnight to 1 AM, and then again from sunrise until breakfast. Screeching brakes, clattering crates thrown onto metal beds – it’s clear that surrounding businesses don’t consider the fact that a hotel is right next door.
It’s a real shame, because otherwise, this hotel could easily be a hidden gem.
