A vibrant gem! With lively music and a colorful atmosphere, this place was perfect for my whole family to enjoy what is truly Mexico. The food is delicious – traditional Mexican dishes packed with bold, authentic flavors. The tacos were especially fantastic, and the salsas were a perfect mix of spicy and tangy. I also loved the variety of drinks, with a great selection of margaritas to complement the meal. Service was fast, friendly and welcoming. A fun evening!

Google
This restaurant was amazing and is what I think of whenever I think Mexico! Great service, delicious drinks, and the atmosphere was electric! Food was amazing all around and we all had a wonderful time. Will definitely be back whenever we visit Cabo again 😁

Wanted something light and never had ceviche so went with the combo fish and shrimp. It is a cold dish, to me, basically seafood bruschetta. The space in this place is amazing. Was near closing when I stopped by, so was quiet when I came in and hostess was great making sure I could get on WiFi. Do yourself a favor and check this place out.

The seafood risotto was excellent! All food was delicious and the ambiance was fun with great service.

This is a must-eat when we come to Cabo! All the food is great. It’s such a great vibe, we love it!

I was there for my birthday dinner. We were a party of 9 adults. Mi Casa is not on the main drag in Cabo. It's tucked in a quiet neighborhood. Once inside, it becomes a magical hacienda! The food was top notch! The service was impeccable! The ambiance was perfect! They had a trio of musicians that serenaded us and then they played Happy Birthday! The wall murals are enchanting and I felt like I stepped back in time to colonial Mexico. I will recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a special evening in Cabo. (There's a Mi Casa in San Jose del Cabo too!) Thank you for making my birthday so special at Mi Casa!

Google
Had a lovely dinner. 4 of us at a table. Fantastic service and the food was exceptional. The atmosphere was off the charts. Enter through a large gift shop with an eclectic mix of art and clothing, to be seated in an unusual stepped area that also opens into a courtyard dining area. We had tacos, fajitas, chips, steak and soups. All were great. Highly recommended.

Google
5 stars on all points. Service, food, and atmosphere. Our server was fantastic and ehike we waited we had our fortune told by a canary. Food was plentiful and very tasty. The atmosphere is bright colors and so much to see you just want to wander around and take in the sights and check out the little gift shops. Very mush a mystical vibe here in a fun way. This is a must do during your visit to Cabo.

Yelp
We both had the carne asada tampenquena. Very good!! Service was nice tasty homemade tortillas too. Always consistently good. We will be back.

Yelp
A home away from home. Mi Casa isn't just a restaurant, it's an experience! The sprawling space feels like a cozy home, each room with its own charm. I loved seeing fresh tortillas being made and the lively entertainment - a band one night, balloon making, even a fortune teller! The staff made me feel like family, and the food? Absolutely delicious. It was so good, I went back three times during my week-long trip. Highly recommend Mi Casa for a fun and flavorful night out!

Yelp
Our taxi driver told us it was the best Mexican food in Cabo. He was right! The food was amazing! The atmosphere was authentic. As you enter you are surrounded by day of the dead dolls and a bartender whipping up the biggest margueritas you've ever seen! Very unique. As we ate we were serenated by a mariachi band that was very good. They took requests and played margueritaville for our table. We had a seasoned expert create the best guacamole at the table as we all watched. My carne asada dish was delicious! Thanks to Trace at Third Coast for hosting. You have to stop at Mi Casa! It was the best!!!

Yelp
I recommend Mi Casa to someone visiting Cabo for the festive ambience and colorful decor throughout. The place is much larger than it looks from outside with many rooms to explore. The food was also quite good- on the pricey side yet portions are ample so can share if desired. We celebrated my son's birthday there and it was super fun. The service we had was good. Thankful there is also a kids menu. I thoroughly enjoyed perusing the gift shop after our meal and picked up a few gifts.

Yelp
If your looking for a restaurant with a festive Mexican ambiance this is your place. The food was delicious and the service is super friendly and ready to cater to your individual needs. We loved them. It'll the night we went was a bit loud and Routty in there but we made the best of it. Everyone had different meals and everyone was pleased. Mariachi band was awesome. Def a go too!

Yelp
Tourist trap. Tuna app had some frozen pieces of tuna. Large portions on the meals. Not much flavor. Service was fine. Margaritas are big and strong (too strong) Love the looks of the restaurant. Did not like balloon man walking around making things for patrons (expecting a tip). Hard to enjoy ambience when he's right behind you with the squeezing of the balloons as he contorts them into whatever... Did not like the musicians that would approach your table to play you a song (expecting a tip). I would love if they had an area where they played traditional music. That's when I'm most likely to tip! Did not like the magician, that interrupted our diner conversation, to show us some sleight of hand tricks (expecting a tip). I do not need someone in the bathroom telling which stall to go in, turn on the sink faucet, hand me a towel, and then take my towel to dispose for me (expecting a tip). I appreciate she kept the bathroom clean but you are not a 5 star restaurant. It would also be different if she offered mints, hand lotion, mouthwash, feminine products...then I would have tipped. Seems like it's a place to get really drunk, eat, and sing "tequila" at your table at the top of your lungs with a funky balloon hat on your head. This may be just the place for you, not me.

Tatum B.

Yelp
The chicken mole recommended by the waiter was fantastic (not too sweet like I've had before) and our spicy margaritas were strong (which can be good depending on your taste)- the blended fruit margarita tasted better!

Yelp
Hoping to find a great Mexican restaurant in Cabo. Read good reviews on MI Cabo and fingers crossed. Unfortunately, I did not find what I was looking for. First, let me start with the positives. Very friendly staff. Hostess, bus boys, waiters-everone. Second, very pretty inside and nice ambiance. The food....I only had the tortilla soup and it was good. Nothing to sing about, but good. My husband had a combo of clinical pibil, costillas, and carnitas. The costillas was OK, but the pivil and carnitas were very dry. The tortillas were horrible. The rice, beams ans salsa were goof but that was not the main course. I felt very sad because I really wanted to find a gem to come back to year after year.

Yelp
We mostly did casual little taco places while in Cabo for a week, but Mi Casa was a lovely way to mix it up with a nicer (and more expensive) dinner. The interior was so nice. We ordered a bit too much for the two of us and had leftovers to take back to our airbnb. I wish I had another one of those salads right now - it was so delicious (I'm a weirdo who loves salad), but everything else was good too. Especially the handmade corn tortillas. Service was normal. There was a mariachi band going around, which isn't my jam (just feels awkward to have them standing around the table), so we said no thank you and then tipped them anyways. I would recommend this place for a nice evening away from the marina.

Yelp
Incredible dining experience! Best meal that we ate while in Cabo. We made a reservation the day of for 7pm and they were able to seat us. The interior is so decorated and festive. They also have an outdoor seating area in the back. You'll walk by the lady making homemade tortillas and churros on your way to your table. We each had the Mexican combo since we wanted to try several of their traditional dishes. I had the carnitas, lobster enchilada and mole chicken which were all incredible. The table side guac was also delicious. They have a mariachi band playing and the service was phenomenal. It's pricey but worth it in my opinion. We can't wait to come back and will be recommending this place to all those who visit Cabo in the future!

Yelp
This is a must go restaurant for any visit to Cabo. Mi Casa has very unique flavors that you won't find it most restaurants. It is very reasonably priced for the quality and flavor of food. It tastes like elevated home cooking with incredible family recipes. We go here at least twice every trip to Cabo. Service is always amazing. The ambiance is perfect. It's very colorful and festive, but also homey. Not sure how it only got 4 stars on yelp. Trip advisor shows higher rating.

Lopamudra M.

Yelp
Great mexican food. Their chicken poblano mole is the best that I have had so far- very soft chicken with a distinctly flavorful mole sauce. We also tried the shrimp cocktail and 5-stars for that too! Beware that the additional antics need to be tipped. Like the bird fortune teller, musicians - they perform for you at your table, expecting tips. Mi Casa also has adjacent stores selling mexican souvenirs. Park sometime aside to browse through their collection here.

Yelp
We were pleasantly surprised by this restaurant the food and the service in the ambience was amazing. This is a must try while in Cabo.

Yelp
The size of this place is amazing. The main entrance has a bar right there and then you enter the gift shops. Yes, multiple rooms filled with all different kinds of things that seem to be of very high quality and refreshingly not a repeat of the latest fads that seemingly every single shop on the street is attempting to sell to tourists. For those that might think a gift shop, or whatever else you might want to call it, within a restaurant is a negative you would be missing something by not going here. Beyond the walls of the shops extends the amazing open restaurant itself. If you hear banging while you are at your table it might be from the mango trees above with fruit falling on the select roofs to protect the guests. There is a station not far in making fresh tortillas and when you get to your table you will be asked it you want to have a bird you choose from two in a cage come out and select a fortune for you. Of course there will Mariachi available too for your entertainment if you desire. All the above is a great start for the food which adds the finishing touch. To start I had the El Queso Fundido A la Mexicana - Melted Monterrey Cheese, mixed  with mexican salsa & seasoned with tequila, which was amazing. For the main course I had the catch of the day, sea bass, Talla - Rubbed with a mixture of dried chiles and herbs, grilled on charcoal. If the above is not enough the margaritas here seem to be stronger than everywhere else I had traveled for the week. Two was enough to close out another amazing dinner and for me another amazing trip to Cabo. I have been coming here for 14 years and it has been 8 years since my last visit to Mi Casa. I was happy to see one of my favorites has remained as good as it was the first time I was here.

Yelp
What an amazing place. From the street you wouldn't imagine this place. We had great tacos and enchiladas for lunch. They also have a very charming gift shop. We will be back!

Priscilla M.

Yelp
First time here. Has been in business for over 30 yrs! Very authentic Mexican. Everything was delicious, grilled fish, salads, etc. Ambiance is very festive. Restaurant is very big with rooms everywhere! Will be back!

Glenda F.

Yelp
Very good!!! Great service truly authentic Mexican food. The music was amazing and everybody had a great time. You accommodate a party of 30 like it was five people. Thank you very much.
google avatar

Joann T.

Yelp
Ordered the carnitas, it was disappointingly dry and chunky. The cheese and guac were good though! Also the mango margarita was refreshing and came in a huge glass. Prices are def higher than expected and they do charge a lot of extra fees though without telling you up front (e.g., takeout containers for leftovers, water, taco shells that goes with your meal).

Yelp
This is our 3rd time visiting Mi Casa when in Cabo and all 3 x it's always been great! The atmosphere is great and the food is authentic and delicious!! Service was good although a little slow our waiter kept on apologizing.

Muriel W.

Yelp
Amazing food, amazing ambiance., amazing service, great entertainment. Mariachis, Jesus amazing with the balloons! Great family place. A must to visit in Cabo. Don't miss it.
google avatar

Cindy H.

Yelp
The food was average/good. It was a great experience until they said we didn't pay the correct amount. We had a do the numbers for them and we left.

Randy A.

Yelp
Big disappointment. We've been here many times and it was excellent. The last visit was vastly different! Different and limited menu, uninterested service and, most important the food was not nearly as tasty as before. Margaritas considerable weaker than before. Do they have any tequila in them?
google avatar

Karen M.

Yelp
We stumbled into this place because I love Mole and read that this restaurant was known for Mole. From the outside, it looks typical, but the inside is HUGE and they have a fresh tortilla making section and at least 2 bars. We ordered Mango Margaritas which were delicious. The Chicken Mole was very good, but the Fresh Fish was the best! Grilled and delicious. We loved everything about this restaurant! And they had a lovely house band.
google avatar

David L.

Yelp
Mi Casa is my go to spot for Chicken Poblano Mole. It's very authentic just like my Mom use to make. My wife likes their Carnitas and my daughter the Carne Asada with handmade tortillas. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The building is awesome with great decor you feel like your at a family Hacienda.

Yelp
This little gem is a must dine experience! Juan made us truly feel VIP, the food was absolutely delicious, and we even got serenaded by a super talented group of musicians. The ambiance is authentic, the food is superb, and the service is exceptional. Can't wait to go back!
google avatar

Yelp
I ordered the mole and it was delicious. The passion fruit margarita was so good. The look of the restaurant is cute. I will definitely come back when I'm in Cabo.

Yelp
What can I say?! We came here in December of 2022, took me awhile to post but we miss Cabo. I mean this place makes you literally feel like home. Very welcoming, and the place is amazing! The servers were attentive and made sure our experience was top notch and made great food recommendations and they made sure to be aware of my partners food allergies. Kept us hydrated and always made sure we had enough freshly made tortillas and allowed us to change our dish if the recommendation they offered wasn't to our liking, of course with respects to trying it and not just finishing and saying it 'wasn't good', but everything we had was great (Queso Fundido a la Mexicana with fresh tortillas as starter and for dinner was Las Costillas en Adobo De Tamarindo & Carne Asada a la tampiqueña ) and the next time we visit this will be a must because The vibes were inviting and the overall experience of the place was fun. Gracias Mi casa! Like they said ' Mi casa, Su casa', hasta la próxima!

Heather M.

Yelp
We dined at Mi Casa twice during our stay in Cabo San Luca. The restaurant is well rated for good reason. The entrees were wonderful with Mole, Carnitas, Shrimp Tacos and all accompanied by on-site made corn tortillas. Beautiful! What was even better - they had a number of great options for our daughter with Celiac Disease. Thank you for the awesome dinner for my family!.
google avatar

Derek B.

Yelp
Went for lunch. The building is fun and big. The sashimi appetizer was good. Ordered the shrimp which was okay but the price was a bit out of the flavor range. 2 margaritas which tasted like skinny girl mix, the sashimi and the shrimp was $78. The shrimp alone was like 35- which was for 5 shrimp. The food was okay. The price was not. Not sure what I missed. For reference my dinner at Roasted was $115 for a nice salad and the special dinner for 2 which had 2 lobster tails, 6 jumbo shrimp and a huge piece of fish with vegetables and rice. And two drinking that were good.
google avatar

Maxwell S.

Yelp
Carnitas were extremely satisfying, and paired well with the homemade tortillas and sauces. Verde sauce was universally loved and the habanero is a must for those that enjoy spice. Service was friendly and the large patio is quiet, tucked away from the busy and crowded central downtown
google avatar

Michael D.

Yelp
A healthy alternative 5 grilled fish varieties with veggies they have all the other stuff also
google avatar

James N.

Yelp
Venture 2 blocks off the main streets and you'll find paradise. Delicious food served in an authentic setting. Perfect for families, large groups, or solo travelers like myself who are looking to dine where the locals go. May I suggest the enchiladas with the tortilla soup to start.
google avatar

Renee S.

Yelp
We have been coming here for years. The service and food never disappoints. There is something for everyone. The mariachi band plays requested songs for the table. There is a clown walking around making balloon animals. A guy with a trained bird. Kiddos are entertained. Back to the food and drinks. Fresh caught fish prepared with Mexican spices for my picky eater, vegetarian enchiladas for my vegetarian and my husband and I had our favorite the stuffed pepper in the walnut cream sauce (chiles en nogada). The meals are paced just right. The margaritas are delicious. The atmosphere is exactly what you look for when dining in Cabo. We made another reservation for Saturday night with Elena!
google avatar

Troy B.

Yelp
One of my all-time favorite places to take friends in Cabo. Awesome environment. The Mole is one of the best. Don't miss trying the Chile en Nogada. Hard to find this traditional Mexican dish and it's excellent at Mi Casa. The Margaritas are grande.

Mjo K.

Yelp
Roofied at the restaurant in Cabo; we suspect that because they had 2 margueritas returned...not salt was requested, salted glass. We returned that one, they poured it out, but the salt was in the next one too. Were they just pissed that we asked them to replace it without salt?!? My friend became so disoriented that we had to leave without finishing dinner. I had to help her walk out to the street. Not a good review for Mi Casa's staff!!!
google avatar

Dennis M.

Yelp
One of the best in Cabo. Beautiful setting, no fuss service, authentic menu, oversized cocktails, fairly priced. Just go.
google avatar

Tiffany M.

Yelp
Before going into the details about the food, I must compliment the beautiful interior and design of this restaurant. It's HUGE with ornate decorations and definitely a "homey" vibe. Staff was welcoming and friendly. There were a lot of authentic Mexican options to select from and a large variety of drink selections. I ordered the enchiladas in verde and a gin and tonic. My partner ordered enchiladas in mole and a Miami vice. Everything was delicious. Slightly overpriced compared to other local food spots but it is a tourist attraction. Definitely check it out if you're in Cabos.
google avatar

Lisa T.

Yelp
After asking many locals about this place and the referral from a friend, I was a little disappointed. The food was okay, I thought it would be much more flavorful seeing as they were saying it was like home made staples. They try to add a little new age, to their plates but for the prices for each plate....wasn't impressed. I would of rather gone to a street vendor for more food for your money. Had the spare ribs plate with cilantro mashed potatoes and I am a cilantro fan....they tasted like cauliflower "mashed potatoes" with a few sprigs of cilantro smashed into it. The ribs were tender to the point they fell right off the bone, but the sauce on them was not very flavorful. The others at my table weren't impressed either with their plates. For 4 of us to eat with No alcohol was $150.00! We didn't order anything special (like seafood/steak) and it was still that much. The one thing that was special was the atmosphere- the restaurant/store itself. Very colorful and traditional. But if you are looking for GOOD food, I wouldn't recommend this place.
google avatar

Steve B.

Yelp
Update: Aftet we were back home, we found the Mia Casa charged our credit card $4,200. It took Visa another 5 weeks to remove the $4,200 charge. This restaurant is unethical and runs a scam to over bill the US tourists. STAY AWAY FROM MI CASA!!!
google avatar

Jamie K.

Yelp
Please be aware of the tax and tip fees...32%.... Amazing food and service. Staff was really nice. But, I would probably not go here again.....
google avatar

Achim B.

Yelp
Food was pretty good, but the prices are outrageous. To make matters worse, they tried to rip our group off by taking $100 from the bill pouch. I recommend counting out the money to the wait staff to avoid any controversy.
google avatar

Katy C.

Yelp
I've loved this place for years but I think this was my last time. This is the second time they have overcharged my credit card significantly. I came in October and they did the same thing so I knew to watch this time. The receipt they printed was for 1370 pesos and $72. I asked them to run the card in pesos. A charge for $84.33 immediately went through on my card. This was pre tip. I saw it and asked them why that happened. I am not ok with being overcharged $12 for no reason. This place is already pricey. The manager came over and said he didn't know what happened. But sometimes people tell them they are overcharged but they can't do anything about it. He said They don't charge a service fee for cards. He offered to cancel it and run it in US dollars. That then charged $86 when it should have been $72. I was so annoyed I asked to just cancel and we would pay in cash, which I really don't prefer to do. This all just seemed like a scam. The food was not worth what they were charging today. The carne asada meal was $30 and the steak was not seasoned enough. The enchilada was bland and tough, the beans tasted like they had no salt or seasoning at all and the rice was bland. When a meal is $30 it should be great. We were in the middle of eating dinner when the band came around and started playing at our table. We continued eating but listened to them play. I pulled out a $5 USD and said thank you and asked them to play one more song. The man took my money and said that wasn't enough for another song. That just paid for the 1st song that lasted 2 mins. They just walked away. Wow I was shocked. I didn't ask them to play the first time or even say ok. They just came and sang while I ate. What if I wasn't nice and didn't tip for the service I never asked for? That all felt so rude. It was just a bad experience overall. I won't be coming back here. There are plenty of other restaurants in Cabo to choose from.

Yelp
Came here for dinner while on vacation in Cabo San Lucas with the family. We were staying at the Grand Solmar, which is about a 20 minute walk to Mi Casa. Unfortunately in the summer, this results in a lot of sweating (even at night). Mi Casa was what I expected from the reviews. The food was authentic and service was fine. I ordered the Chicken Mole, which was actually very good. Lots of sauce and flavor. My wife had the shrimp tacos, which may have been one of the best deals on the menu. It was only about $12 USD. It was annoying that they had a balloon person there that clearly was getting everyone to purchase balloons. Luckily another family wanted to give us theirs as we walked in (and they walked out). It was quite nice of them so that my kids did not have to whine for the balloons and the lady did not bother us. However, she did give us some dirty looks. Back to the food - they had a nice kids menu, and my kids loved the been and cheese burritos and mashed potatoes. That was also a good deal was about $5. We aware that there is no air conditioning at Mi Casa, and it can be confusing when you walk in. We didn't see a hostess or anyone, and just sat ourselves at a table. The guacamole was also quite good, and I liked how they served it with fresh tortillas instead of chips. I will plan to return on my next time in Cabo!
google avatar

Patty J.

Yelp
Muy bueno! Great service, food, drinks and atmosphere. Will be back next time in Cabo!
google avatar

Tin D.

Yelp
Goodness! This place was delicious and delightfully beautiful. Service was superb and they were accommodating. We almost went to cabo wabo which was double the price. This place had more character and again the mole was delicious!
google avatar

Bella ..

Yelp
The food is decent, nothing to write home about. I enjoyed the figurines they had for sale in this shop, I actually bought a bride skeleton & groom skeleton
google avatar

Mark B.

Yelp
The interior of this place is a real knockout. It has a great open-air atrium, and a huge display of figurines from Dia de los Muertos. I had some excellent shrimp tacos.
google avatar

Taylor R.

Yelp
Stay away if you are American. They will target you, give you a menu that is 3x more expensive and try to swindle you at every chance they get. Avoid at all costs.
google avatar

John B.

Yelp
Amazing food. Drinks are awesome and the margaritas were tasty. The hand made tortilla and the salsa are unbelievable. I'm just mad that I didn't start eating here sooner
