I recently stayed at this hotel and was shocked by the unacceptable conditions. From the moment my family and I arrived, it was clear that this place was far from a reputable establishment. We waited over an hour to check in, only to be greeted by a room that was filthy. The bed linens appeared soiled and unchanged, the pull-out couch looked infested with roaches and bedbugs, and the bathroom was dirty with mildew visible on the floors, walls, and even the headboard. It was clear the room hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time.
I requested a room change, hoping the next room would be better. While slightly more spacious, it was equally dirty, and the towels provided were not only small but visibly unclean, with black hairs on them. At this point, we decided we could not stay and informed the front desk that we wanted to check out. We contacted Delta, who thankfully helped us find another room, as we had booked a package through them.
What was even more concerning were the health and safety issues in the hotel’s lobby and restaurant. The lobby itself was unclean, with bathrooms that were unusable due to their poor condition. The restaurant’s sanitation was highly questionable. The staff were preparing food without gloves, and there was no proper handwashing station or soap available. The food served was undercooked and unsafe to eat, particularly for children. These conditions should be inspected immediately by the Board of Health.
While we’re there less than two hours , the front desk staff kept deferring complaints, stating they were waiting for a manager. It seemed like every guest in the lobby had a similar experience, and several people were complaining at once.
This hotel needs serious attention, both in terms of cleanliness and health standards. I strongly urge health inspectors to visit this property, especially the restaurant, to ensure the safety of future guests.
