I decided to eat here while visiting Dallas because of the consistently positive reviews calling this a hidden gem in the Dallas area. I was not disappointed. Don't let the modest building and surroundings fool you; this is a great little restaurant.
I had the tlayuda, which was big, generously stuffed , and quite tasty. It took a bit of time to get the food ready, but it was worth it. Also, it is not true (as some reviewers have suggested) that the staff don't speak English. While I loved having the opportunity to practice my Spanish, I was able to flip to English when I got stuck. '
Also worth noting: a) the place is cash-only, and b) the parking sign says "Tacos King" or something like that, which can throw you off.
The only negative for me is that the place can use some updating.
