I love Mi Palmar. The food is always great, and they always are very friendly and welcoming. Gracias, Laura, for letting me practice my Spanish! Edwin is always ready to step in to translate when I don’t know the words. I’ve been coming here for months now, and just realized I had not left a review yet. This place is so good, I had lunch here twice this week.
All the servers speak Spanish and English. Even the cook will sometimes come out to ask how the food is. It’s great! It’s always great.
They serve chips and salsas to begin. The salsa rojo is the bright red one, and it’s safe. The green one has avocado in it, and is a little spicy. The salsa asada has a dark red color because it’s toasted and sometimes will make non-Mexicans cry. It’s great for your sinuses, so wipe your tears and eat it all.
All three salsas are delicious. The best three salsas I have ever had.
The menu is pretty big, and it’s hard to choose, but it’s all good. The Combinación Palmar is my favorite because you get an enchilada, a sope, and a taco. And you can’t be sad eating a taco. Drizzle some of the salsa asada on it, and you might cry, but you won’t be sad.
