This sunny bakery with a brunch twist hits all the right notes when it comes to flavor. The menu is a delightful blend of comforting classics and playful modern dishes—think delicious bake goods paired with rich, savory scrambles. The space itself? It’s undeniably roomy, offering plenty of elbow room whether you’re catching up over coffee or diving into weekend brunch. However, despite the generous layout, the atmosphere doesn’t quite live up to the food. The decor feels a bit underwhelming—clean, but lacking the cozy warmth or charm that invites you to linger. A little ambiance would go a long way in matching the vibrancy of the dishes. Still, if your priority is a stellar brunch with plenty of space to breathe, this bakery more than delivers. Come hungry, leave happy… just don’t expect to be swept away by the setting.

Went here on a whim for dinner while visiting the area. The staff was very helpful in explaining the food for the uninitiated in our group. Ordering was easy. Counter pickup. We picked up some additional bakery items for the next morning. Did not regret that decision. If you are in the area and want good food in a laid back atmosphere, this is your place. We definitely will be going back.

Eat here. I don't care what you think this place might be like, just try it. The sandwiches have such an amazing depth of flavor and the ingredients play so well together it's amazing. The bread really takes it over the top as its both soft and crisp all at once. The sweet pastries are also well deserved indulgence. A treat without being overly rich. I will be back and I will go out of my way to stay nearby when I'm up in the metro for work!

This place is awesome. The banh mi, bulgogi, and kimchi fries are all favorites as are the croissants and drinks. Portions are pretty good and while not cheap I wouldn’t say it’s expensive either. The menu has a good selection and the interior has lots of places to sit. It’s an old bakers square. Parking is easy despite how busy it often is This place is a favorite treat for me. Bread and bakery is on site so everything is fresh.

Fantastic Vietnamese inspired food. The bowls are delicious. I had the salad bowl and should get it again. I imagine the noodles and rice variants are also just as good, The banh mi is wonderful, great crusty bread. Egg rolls are good too. The iced Vietnamese coffee is nice and strong either the right amount of sweet from the condensed milk. The croissants are also amazing.

Have been here a few times before. Decently good overall. Although beware the breakfast sandwiches are actually not as stuffed as advertised with the photos but are still good. My fave (not pictured) is the strawberry cream crossiant.. amazing.

This is a self-service restaurant with a very convenient ordering system that includes a lot of customizable options, which I really appreciate. For example, you can request no cilantro or carrots in your food, and you can adjust the ice or sugar levels in your drinks. The menu offers traditional and classic Vietnamese dishes, along with a few special house options. The food is delicious—the rice in the bowl is flavorful, and the bulgogi beef is excellent! The spring roll order includes three rolls, making it more of a dinner portion rather than just a shared appetizer. The restaurant has a spacious layout, including a “greenhouse” section that is warm and sunny, perfect for enjoying your meal in natural light. However, one issue stood out during our visit. While we were eating, a waitress began deep cleaning the area, moving furniture and sweeping, even though the space didn’t seem particularly dirty. The loud noise was a bit disruptive to the dining experience. I hope they can improve on this in the future.

Good place and ambience. Sun room after snowing is especially nice. Reasonable price. Vietnamese coffee is legit. Liked the salad bowl. Pastries look good too. Although most Vietnamese bakeries know what they’re doing. Good place to hang out.

Yelp
I love coming to this place! It's always a reliable option when I'm in the area. The restaurant is well-organized, making it easy to navigate, even during busy times. I do wish they had a drive-through like the one in Brooklyn Park--it would add so much convenience. Another minor suggestion would be adding a second register, as the line tends to get long. That said, the staff does a fantastic job of keeping things moving quickly, so the wait is never too bad. The ordering process is straightforward: you tell the cashier what you want, make your payment, and receive a buzzer. Once your food is ready, the buzzer goes off, and you grab your items. It's efficient and hassle-free. This place is one of the quickest stops for lunch or a snack, and the food never disappoints. I'm a big fan of their lemon chicken sandwich--it's always fresh and flavorful. I also recommend their taro boba with oat milk and less sugar; it's the perfect treat. The tablet area is often full. The workers here are consistently fast, friendly, and professional. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a quick, tasty, and convenient meal. It's a gem!

Yelp
Love this Mi Sant. Yummy food and drinks. Inclusive diet options. Lovely staff and indoor plants create good vibes. My go to orders are ginger chicken spring rolls with Vietnamese Vinaigrette, the coconut Vietnamese coffee cooler, and tiramisu croissants (if they're not already sold out for the day).

Yelp
Stopped here for a quick work meeting and got some bubble tea and my coworker got thai tea. Their selection for drinks was wonderful and it was easy to order. I am bummed they don't have any dairy free baked goods. Plenty of seating, I loved the sun room!

Yelp
This is the only food place worth a damn over this way. I had an early appt. with Dr. Tareen and I was in the neighborhood. What I really needed was a roll for a sandwich. I didn't need a whole loaf of bread. For 1.25 I got a baguette right out of the oven. I made Basil come in to pick out his own dessert. He got a strawberry and a blueberry cream cheese croissant. Both delicious. Five minutes after 9, the place was hit with customers. My roast beef sandwich at home was delicious. Sometimes all you need is a roll.

Yelp
Didn't expect to find decent Vietnamese food for a decent price in Minnesota. The bowls were a change of paced from all the fried food I ate during the state fair. It felt amazing to eat fresh greens and protein with the fish sauce vinaigrette. I wish they made the fish sauce with more fish sauce, cuz I personally like mine on the stronger side. They close the outside patio after little before closing so it was difficult to find a table suitable for 7 people. So I would recommend going early so there are more seating area. Would love to come back and give the other bowls a try.

Yelp
Love the little sunroom area. So warm and good vibes. It was so busy, but they work so fast and we got our food quickly. We ordered the special bahn mi. Next time, I'll get the classic, the egg was a little too much for me. The blueberry cruffin was crispy and didn't have any artificial flavor. If you have a sweet tooth, definitely get the cream filled croissants.

Yelp
It was just after the lunch hour, around 1:20, when I went into Mi Sant Roseville, and it was still busy. There was not a parking spot open in the lot immediately surrounding the restaurant, but luckily, that part of Roseville is filled with interconnected parking lots, and I easily found a spot in the next section. The inside of the space is fine, but has no real ambiance. The outer part of the dining area has big windows, but they just look into the parking lot. It's a fast-casual place, not a place where you sit for an 8 course meal to soak up the vibe. There seemed to be a long-ish line when I walked in, but then I saw that there were fast lane kiosks available that people weren't using. I didn't know what made them fast-lane, but they seemed to have the entire menu available, and you didn't have to wait to order from a cashier. They were your normal tablet ordering system, and they had all of the modification options available. I tend to find bahn mi a bit dry, so I always order them with extra pate, and that option was right there, no searching necessary. Despite the people waiting on line, my order was ready in about 5 minutes (way faster than I expected). I ordered the lemongrass chicken bahn mi (with extra pate, of course) to go. The sandwich came out warm and well-wrapped for transport. The chicken was moist and the jalapenos added flavor but were not overwhelming. The bread was crusty on the outside, soft on the inside, compressible and not too hard (hard bread on a bahn mi is impossible, IMO) About $11 for a good sandwich is a good deal to me. A good trick seems to be to order ahead online, and then skip the line altogether (my plan next time).

Yelp
Mi-Sant is my favorite local bakery! I really like how they incorporate Vietnamese cuisine and other Asian influences. Their bakery items are so good, too! Food I haven't tried anything I didn't like. I usually get their spring rolls (enough for a meal for me), bacon-egg-cheese croissant sandwich, and their bang-mi special--it has a fried egg in the sandwich! It's helpful they have a Customer Favorite sign when you order. You can also order at the kiosks. Pick up is also very convenient. Water and utensils is self serve so don't forget to stop by there to grab what you need. Service I have always been cared for and have no complaints. It's quick service. Ambiance Think modern farmhouse. Their "porch" area is very popular as it also has variety of seating and plants. I do appreciate the diversity in table seating. Parking There is parking available at the front and back of the restaurant. It does get busy during lunch and dinner time, but there hasn't been an issue for me to find parking.

Yelp
I live coming to this place for lunch. I tried the ban mi with tofu and that was so delicious ! I also had their egg rolls and those were very tasty. Their strawberry matcha drink is my go to and I'll never change it. The pastries they have on display look so perfect but I promised next time I'll be coming here and buying a couple of them. They have so much space and great light coming in.

Yelp
The Bulgogi beef fries are genuinely one of the best things I have eaten in a long time. The coconut coffee is also amazing, very refreshing and the prices are reasonable too!

Yelp
I'm SO glad I finally tried Mi Sant! I ordered (to-go) the Shrimp Spring Rolls with avocado and the MS peanut Sauce and Vietnamese Vinaigrette. I loved the flavor combination of both sauces so I highly recommend ordering both! The addition of the avocado added a buttery texture that really elevated these spring rolls. I was contemplating ordering another menu item as I wasn't sure these would fill me up for lunch. However, I'm glad I didn't -- the 3 rolls were very filling and the perfect amount! In terms of service, their online ordering is so quick and easy. The food was ready for pick-up exactly when they said it would be! Overall, I can't wait to visit again and try more items on the menu.

Yelp
Was so nice to stumble in here looking for boba and also finding some awesome croissants! The boba options are a little more limited than places where this is a specialty, but they scratch a boba itch. Those croissants though...lots of options plus a special "supreme" croissant. At the time I stopped by, it was Tiramisu. I had already eyed up 2 other croissants, otherwise that one likely would have came home as well. The other menu options also looked fantastic, so will definitely be back!

Yelp
Good food, beautiful, pleasant casual spacious space to dine! You order at the counter, receive a buzzer and wait for your take out or to eat-in order. They have their own spacious parking lot. The noodle bowl salad is good. I tried the Mi Sant special bowl, but found the dressing a bit too sweet to my liking but still a solid salad with fresh veggies and your choice of protein. Since the dressing is on the side, I can vary the amount of dressing to my liking, The sandwiches is the best choice here, as the breads are baked in house. I tried the lemongrass chicken, Mi Sant special and the grilled pork. I liked the Mi Sant special the best, since the egg in the sandwich made the sandwich which has a bite of hot spice with jalapeno a little milder...and a nice addition! Overall, a pleasant dining experience at this establishment.

Yelp
Mi Sant is a favorite for my husband and I! You know the place is good when you show up right at opening and a couple other people are waiting in their cars to go in. For working from Mi Sant purposes (since I frequent WFH), I wish I could set up shop before they open at 9a. Food: haven't tried beyond the pastry menu but their chocolate croissant are one of my favs! People come in here at like 11a for their noodle dishes so it must be good! I want to come back for lunch before I make my final say on their food menu. Drinks: the Vietnamese iced coffee is fun. It's strong. It's not something I crave, I just get it because it's the right place to get it. Their bubble tea, matcha, and regular lattes are decent, but I'd rather pay more for drinks elsewhere and stick to the pastries here. Environment: my favorite place to sit is the "patio" (by patio I mean the indoor addition under the awning" but there are lots of tables big and small. I've showed a lot of people this place because the staff is kind, it's busy (but not too busy) so that's a good sign...and most importantly, their croissants (chocolate and meat and cheese when I'm hungry ).

Yelp
We went to check out this place for a post lunch dessert--it was crowded with a long line but there was a kiosk for ordering to go which was really easy to use with fast service. We tried the butter croissant(very good) and ube croissant (excellent), and three of the boba options (all fairly standard but good). We will definitely go back to try their sit down option!

Yelp
Based upon the crowd on a recent lunch visit, Mi-Sant has been well embraced by the area. I have stopped in a few times now for both takeout and dine in, but it wasn't until my last lunch that it became apparent how many people are stopping by for a banh mi, bowl or croissant over the noon hour. Evening visits have been a bit more subdued. Dine in is counter service and prompt - if you're ordering takeout, online ordering is available, as are a number of kiosks for placing your takeout order on site. They have a number of banh mis and bowls available - those that I have tried have been good. The kimchi fries (think Korean influenced poutine) is a guilty pleasure that will keep me coming back. They bake a ton of their own goods and appear to be supplying a number of other restaurants/cafes based upon the volumes you see coming out of the kitchen. Mi-Sant isn't my go-to for a banh mi or rice bowl, but they're a solid option and will continue to be a regular stop when I'm in the area.

Yelp
How have I not been here yet?! Kicking myself for waiting so long to get to Mi Sant! I'm often in this area, and this will be my new go-to over the chains and fast food in the area. PARKING: Free parking! Nuff said. SPACE: This building is so unique - it's low and has a greenhouse-looking dining area! There was plenty of seating when I was here during lunch rush. Great natural light and lots of variety in seating options for small and big groups. ORDER: Order at the counter and if you're dining in, you'll get a buzzer for when your food is ready. There were a lot of take-out and pick-up orders during lunch time. FOOD: They've got banh mi, bowls, spring rolls, and a bakery section with amazing looking croissants and baguettes. They also do breakfast croissants which looked delish! They also do sides of bulgogi beef fries, wontons, and egg rolls. DRINKS: They offer bubble tea, coffee and tea - making this a great spot for breakfast or lunch! PRICES: Very reasonable: $1 for a baguette?! $10 for a noodle or rice bowl? That's a steal these days! SERVICE: Counter service was very friendly - I asked for a recommendation, got the bulgogi beef noodle bowl, and was pleased. Definitely check this spot out - I'll be back to try more of their menu!

Yelp
Mi Sant is cute and cozy! You'll be able to catch me here all fall sitting in the sun room! I haven't explored much of the menu yet, but their croissant was delicious! The latte I ordered was nothing special but it could've been the combo of non-dairy milk and flavor shots I picked; I'm willing to give it another try though. This building used to be a Baker's Square and I love how they've repurposed the space. Super excited to have another local coffee shop in the area! {29}

Yelp
Solid Banh Mi and Pastry but nothing extraordinary. This is the second location I have tried, the other in Brooklyn Park. The new location is much bigger near Roseville Mall with a decent sized dine in area. Tried their Bang Mi sandwich, spring roll, and various pastries. Would say their pastries are worth a try and the rest are standard but solid options.

Veekay K.

Yelp
This is the second time eating there in 2 years. Ordering was simple and food was ready quick. I ordered the Classic Bahn Mi sandwich and was my first time having that. I was surprised how mildly flavored it was, the veggies were more flavor forward than the meats (white ham, jambon, and headcheese). I guess I was expecting a bit more flavor. Not saying it was bad flavor just left me wanting some excitement in every bite. Something I was very happy about, nothing was over salted even the meats or the side of peanut sauce. I was very put off by the amount of gristle in one of the meats, in a couple different bites in the last the 1/3 of the sandwich. Not a little bit, but a lot. I probably should have let them know but it was a very busy lunch rush. Sorry to be gross about it but it was enough of an impact on my visit. Maybe they will see the review and let the cooks assembling the sandwiches know that quality ingredients are so important. Will I go back? YES!!! Will I get a menu item with white ham, jambon, and headcheese? Probably not, the egg roll bowl that my guest had was very good.

Yelp
Great place to grab some Vietnamese for lunch or dinner. Get there early if you want to try their pastries, they're worth it! Food was good, reasonably priced. A bit like a take out place, so not upscale, but the flavors and service makes it a great spot for eating some flavorful food while chatting with friends. Relaxed vibe, with some people sitting in the "sun room" on their laptops, others at the picnic style seating, chatting. Would definitely go back if I'm in the area.
google avatar

Yelp
Such a cute location with lots of seating. Order to go and service was very prompt and packaged perfect so nothing was squished. Sandwich large enough to share and was delicious with lots flavor and did not skimp on the chicken. Bowl came with an egg roll and peanut sauce that was as very tasty. Spring rolls were each individually wrapped and could pick between different sauces when ordering. The treats are a must here. The tiramisu croissant supreme was so flaky and the filling was the perfect amount. Would also for sure recommend the cruffins as these are also delicious with the layers of pastry dough and yummy filling too!

Yelp
Culinary Delights at Mi Sant: A Croissant Haven in Minnesota! My journey to Mi Sant, with locations in Roseville and Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, was nothing short of a culinary adventure. This bakery specializing in croissants and bahn mis has mastered the art of crafting delightful and creative treats. The variety of croissants on their menu showcases not only the chef's creativity but also their dedication to perfection. From the breakfast classics like bacon, egg, and cheese to the more adventurous options, each croissant is a testament to the culinary expertise at Mi Sant. The bahn mis sandwiches are equally impressive, with each one offering a burst of flavors that transport you to a taste sensation. Don't miss out on the bulgogi fries - a solid 10 out of 10 that deserves every praise. For those seeking a healthier alternative, the Mise Sante bowl is a must-try, offering a perfect balance of freshness and flavor. The consistent 10/10 service and vibes make every visit to Mise Sante an experience worth repeating. If you're a fan of creative croissants, flavorful bahn mis, and an all-around delightful dining experience, Mise Sante is the place to be in Minnesota.

Yelp
Food is really good. Great relaxing environment. Mi Sant spring roll is My family loves this place

Yelp
The ingredients are portioned very well with protein and veggies. The only downside is sometimes it does fall apart fast as in the wrapper, it may have been soaked for too long before wrapping so a lot of the lettuce falls out. Sauce is delicious, i just wished they had a spicer option because I'm a spice girl! location is convenient and cute. it's a nice spot for catching up with friends, quick lunch bite, and work space.

Yelp
Favorite Bahn Mi shop in MSP! This place has always been in my bucket list and I always see it driving past when going to Roseville or someplace north east of the city. I decided to stop by around 3 or so to pick up dinner for takeaway after a tough work day. It's a standalone shop with parking and plenty of seating inside. There's plants all around, and the staff were very friendly and helpful when considering what to get. Even in the late afternoon there was line of customers picking up food and that's always a good sign! Vietnamese Iced Coffee Bitter, but also sweet since they add condensed milk. Maybe an acquired taste for those used to Arabica beans, but I enjoy the robusta/ or chicory coffee they use since it gives an edge. A classic drink and fantastic to pair with the sandwiches. Classic Vietnamese Hams Bahn Mi I love the cold cuts, the temperature doesn't wilt the accoutrements. The texture provides a crunch, not your typical ham that's more solid and gelatinous you'd get at a grocery store Grilled Pork Bahn Mi Saucy and delightful, this is a warm protein. Beautiful rich flavor. So would recommend getting accoutrements on the side. Lemongrass Chicken Bahn Mi Warm protein. Lighter flavor profile than the pork and less saucy. A good alternative if you want meat, but not as rich. Also recommend getting accoutrements on the side. Bahn Mi overall I love the bread, it's flaky and crispy and has a beautiful doughy texture. Would go back to pick up rolls to make sandwiches at home if it was more convenient to stop by. The toppings are classic cilantro, jalapeño, and Do Chua: quick pickle radish and carrot. Theirs is not overly sweet and has an amazing crunch. The mayo and pâté also provide a richness to the sandwiches. Not a low calorie food. Overall, the Bahn Mi are a step up in flavor and texture then places I've been to in uptown and elsewhere. The price is good and the food very nostalgic since I was trying to find a replacement restaurant from where I used to get them living near DC. Would recommend stopping by and will make this place on my rotation. Just wish I stopped by earlier!

Yelp
I have been to the other Mi Sant location and it was awesome so when I was getting hungry while doing some nearby shopping, I thought what better place to stop than here! After eating at both locations, I can safely say that Mi Sant makes THE best banh mi's in the Twin Cities and that I've ever eaten. The space here is quite large with a lot of regular indoor seating as well as some cool seating with a more glass garden style roof. It seems like a great place to meet up with friends and grab a delicious bite. You order up at the front with the cashier, and they give you a buzzer to wait until your foods ready. Once it's ready, you go up and grab it and you can seat yourself wherever you like. My favorite go-to is the Special Banh Mi, it has everything you could possibly want and is sooo delicious. I'm getting hungry again right now just writing this. Definitely worth a visit and an easy 5/5

Yelp
The food was very good. The service was a little slow, but only because they were so busy it was hard to find a seat come early.

Yelp
We ordered several banh mi sandwiches to serve to a large group for a gathering and we have ordered takeout. Our favorite sandwiches are the mi-Sant special, Nem Nuong, Korean bolgogi, grilled pork and chicken ones. We did not like the Classic compared to those since the meat was low quality and tasted horrible. When we went inside to wait for our takeout I was impressed with the interior and decor. They did a nice job renovating the inside since it used to be Bakers Square. It was busy with lines during lunch hour on Saturday but they had several cashiers and some self service kiosks. The bubble tea menu is extremely misleading and confusing. It says bubble tea but it's not clear that you need to pay extra for the tapioca pearls. The menu should NOT call the drinks bubble tea if it automatically does not come with bubbles/tapioca pearls. And they consider the bubbles/tapioca pearls to be "toppings" which is also misleading since those sit at the bottom. Virtually all places that say bubble tea on the menu automatically come with tapioca pearls! My suggestion is to update the wording on the menu. Some of the sandwiches also have similar ingredients such as pork so a number system is recommended since our orders have been misinterpreted. The sandwiches should be labeled as 1,2,3 for example. Overall most of the food is great and authentic Asian cuisine. We will keep coming back. I hope they open another restaurant in the Western suburbs since there's a pretty high Asian population there as well.

Yelp
Staff was friendly and helpful. Everything is freshly made which is always a plus. The banh mi was so delicious. Nice place to sit for lunch and I took half to go for later.

Yelp
Mi Sant is a self serving fast ish food restaurant and cafe and bakery. It has lots of yummy Vietnamese food like banh mi. Various different type of noodle /rice/ salad bowls. They also have fun drinks and pretty pastries. We ordered Togo and it's very nicely packed and food are good. Regarding drinks - if you order boba tea, the top is not always sealed well. 2/2 times we bought was leaked.
google avatar

Amy W.

Yelp
Mi Sant is amazing from the food to the restaurant space with a parking lot and plenty of tables and seating. Ordering is easy and efficient. I usually get a rice noodle bowl, but the bánh mì is also excellent!

Anna M.

Yelp
Delicious! I came in for takeout and placed my order at one of the self-serve kiosks (very easy to use). I was surprised by how quickly my food came out, the staff was very friendly as well. The dining room was cool; they did a lot with it since the building's days as a Baker's Square. I had the tofu bahn mi--the bread was nice and fresh and whatever sauce they cooked the tofu in or had with the mayo was awesome. Just a little spice but mostly just a ton of flavor. Very filling and for $11 you can't go wrong. I also had the veggie spring rolls. They were crispy with a good filling but I didn't notice until I left that they didn't include the dipping sauce, which was a bit disappointing. Finishing off with one of their chocolate croissants--it was just as good as one would hope for from a french bakery. Airy and buttery with just enough chocolate. I will be back for more!
google avatar

Joel N.

Yelp
I make it a point to come here 1-2 times every week because I need it in my life! The bulgogi bahn mi is my favorite! The Thai Milk tea is incredible too. This place is also VERY aesthetically pleasing and great for photos. Always a fun vibe!

Yelp
I returned for lunch when I was in the area recently and ordered their bahn mi "Mi-Sant Special" sandwich to eat in, along with two plain croissants 'to go'. The place was fairly busy during that time, but I had no trouble finding a seat at a table to wait for my buzzer to ring to incite me to go pick up my order. This may have been my first time ever with a bahn mi sandwich and I looked forward to eating one. Overall, I 'kind of' liked it, but did not enjoy the 'difficult to bite and chew' meat (or whatever it was) that was on the sandwich. If I try one again sometime, I may order it with just pate, or just cold cuts. The croissants I brought home were excellent! I think they're the best I've had in quite some time!

Yelp
Literally one of my go to spots for breakfast and lunch! Their pastries are so delicious, every one of their croissants are amazing, my favorite is the strawberry cream cheese croissant. Location: Parking lot, plenty of spaces. Walk inside order at the counter. Nice aesthetic, and plenty of spots to sit. It can get busy during peak but I've always been able to find somewhere to sit down if I'm not getting take out. Food: I recommend the croissant breakfast sandwiches with a side of egg rolls. These are my favorite egg rolls because they are smaller and you get a pack of 3. For lunch or dinner I usually do a Bahn Mi, but their bowls are delicious too. Also their bulogi fries are to die for
google avatar

Yelp
Stopped here for dinner. You order at the counter and you'll get a buzzer when your food is ready. They also do online orders for pickup! We started with the pork egg rolls. They were just normal little egg rolls but we will probably skip them from now on. We both got banh mi sandwiches. My husband got the special and I got the lemongrass chicken. We both liked the lemongrass chicken more since it had more spice. My favorite part was my taro shake! Delicious! The croissants at the front looked really good. We will probably stop by in the future for shakes and pastries! Parking lot out front with lots of spaces!

Yelp
First time here, earlier this week. We split a noodle bowl, bahn mi, beef fries and a chocolate croissant. The food was wonderful and relatively inexpensive. With two coffees it wasn't even $40. The lack of five stars is for the seating situation. The atrium seating area was freezing. It wasn't freezing outside but it was freezing in there and people were eating with their jackets on. Others in the regular dining room were taking up tables for hours. The people behind us sat and played cards and the woman to the right of us was sitting doing homework. When you have a busy restaurant with limited tables it's bad business to let that occur. We sat at the bar which was not a functioning bar, rather a storage area for boxes and food which really makes no sense and looks terrible.

Yelp
Everyone has their favorite sandwich - just ask 'em. Reuben? Italian? Sloppy Joe? Hot dog? (Sorry - had to throw in the "is a hot dog a sandwich" argument). For me, it's always going to be a banh mi sandwich. Nostalgia aside, it has everything that slaps. Crunchy baguette with a fluffy interior, soft and succulent meat, crispy pickled veggies? I mean COME ON. Mi Sant seriously delivers when it comes to banh mi sandwiches and the baguette is phenomenal - seriously makes me want to go back and try their other baked goods because if the bread is that good, the other items have to be stellar too. I had the Mi-Sant Special, and the fried egg added a nice smoothness to the sandwich that I wasn't expecting. I do wish there was a liitttle more meat (I like 'em big!) but overall very solid and I'd definitely come back. Their honeydew shake was also great, and was not too sweet and still tasted like honeydew, which is usually really subtle whenever I order the flavor at anywhere else. Happy to add Mi-Sant to the repertoire of fantastic Asian bakeries and banh mi sandwich shops around the Twin Cities and I can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Light and Fluffy Croissants- Sign me up! After traveling in Europe recently, I have been craving a good consistent bakery! I found this spot and I am very happy with the flavor and texture of my Blueberry Cream Cheese Croissant! With a flaky and buttery outside, the croissant is a stand out star! The restaurant also has great Bubble Tea, Spring Roll, and Bánh Mi options! Will definitely need to come back.

Yelp
I've been waiting to try this place and I wish I would have come sooner. From the outside the location looks like a repainted Baker's Square, but the inside has been tastefully redecorated with plenty of seating options. I love the large family style tables it makes the place feel more cozy. It's counter service with buzzers. The environment is calm and inviting. There were a mix of ages when we were there. It's a great place for families, to meet friends for a bite, space enough to chit chat. The sunroom has great natural light and a few comfy chairs and couches. The food was flavorful and bright. The portions were spot on. They use compostable packaging and have compostable silverware. They have lots of great coffee and non-coffee options. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this place.

Yelp
Wow! New neighborhood favorite! I tried the bowl and spring rolls. Amazing fresh flavors! The croissant was heavenly - light and flaky. The baguettes looked wonderful and I'm excited for a return visit to try the bahn mi. Easy parking. Clean restaurant and bathrooms. Excellent service. Affordable. Recommended.

Yelp
A little pricey but a good sized banh mi and good flavor. Came on a Thursday night at 7 and it was still pretty busy! While they didn't have any baked goods left they still had banh mi. You order at the counter and they give you a buzzer for when your food is ready. They have a good amount of seating inside that is open seating. We got the lemongrass chicken and the mi sant special (grilled pork, char siu and fried egg). The bread was fresh, meat was plentiful and the veggies were good. I could have used more veggies but that's probably more of a personal preference. Not an overwhelming amount of mayo either. Overall the sandwich was less greasy than some other places which I prefer. I could see the bread on racks in the back of the kitchen so they make their bread in house! Note: you have to ask for pate if you want it in your sandwich, it doesn't come standard.

Yelp
LOVE Mi Sant!!! I tried their tofu bahn mi for the first time yesterday and loved it so much! Perfectly made bahn mi. I also tried their fries and now they're my favorite in town. The ambiance is chill. I loved the clean, modern and stylish decor. I will be recommending this place to all my friends and family! Ordering/ service was simple and quick!
