My french smoked salmon omelette was exceptional. Absolutely delicious and immaculately presented. Great coffee and salad as well. Service was very nice and accommodating, but it was tough to get their attention since I arrived right at opening and they filled up very quickly. It was a little uncomfortable being crowded by the eager diners waiting for tables; it was a cold morning so nobody wanted to sit at the patio. Still, this was a memorable meal and I'm enthusiastic to bring family and friends next time. We'll definitely make a reservation for a party larger than 2 to avoid waiting.

Google
Fantastic stop for a late lunch or a brunch. Tried the two new features, lemon infused ricotta French toast creme brulee pancakes. They were both fantastic! We also tried the cold foam dirty chai latte and the MIA mimosa. It can get busy, but it's worth the wait. If there is a patio out back but we sat at the bar which was actually very entertaining and comfortable. The staff was super friendly and the food was yummy, we will definitely be coming back.

Google
The one big tree at the back really sets the mood. Went for brunch and was not disappointed. The most surprising thing to me about this place was the home fries.. like what?? I’ve never seen them like it before. It complimented the dish aesthetic so well and tasted even better. Definitely a hidden gem in Midtown.

Google
The portion size was sufficient, but I found insects in my vegetables, which was quite unsettling and suggests they weren’t washed properly. The salmon omelet tasted very plain—lacking salt, spices, or any distinctive flavor. Overall, I didn’t enjoy the food, although the decoration and atmosphere were pleasant.

Google
We visited on a Saturday morning without a reservation. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We only waited 5 minutes for a table. We had the bacon eggs Benedict and the lemon-ricotta French toast. Both dishes were absolutely delicious! The service was quick, and the employees were super kind. Highly recommend!

You know it’s a good place when it’s packed and there’s a waitlist. Best chicken and waffles in the city. Friends got eggs bene and it was delicious, too. There’s a nice outdoor patio with a tree. Magical. Ordered a Caesar mocktail. They can make any drink non-alcoholic to your preference.

Google
Came to MIA brunch bar as a recommendation. The food and menu was superb. Our group grabbed a few items and some mimosas. Every items was made fresh and tasted delicious. The indoor seating is limited and quite tight but still had a great experience. I wouldn’t say much for any sort of atmosphere or outstanding service, but the food was the win here.

Google
I came solo to have brunch and it was a fantastic experience all around. I felt very welcomed and food was great (dirty chai and smoked salmon omelette👌🏽). It’s really pretty inside and there’s seating outside at the back. Maggie was a lovely server and I was well taken care of. Angela at the front and Naz were very kind. Will definitely be back! Highly recommend.

Yelp
Kind server & delicious food ... we definitely coming back with friends ... Two thumbs up !! ^^

Yelp
What I like about the chicken and waffle is that the fried chicken reminds me of turkey dinner stuffing. A nostalgic taste. The chicken were fried perfectly, still juicy. Unfortunately, the waffles were on the cold side and nothing about it stood out. Very friendly spot often with a line out of the door.

Yelp
A couple of friends and I decided to grab a quick brunch, and one of them suggested Mia. I checked out the menu beforehand (I'm definitely an Eggs Benedict kind of girl! ) and was excited to see some great options. The ambiance here is super cute, and it's nice that you can choose to dine inside or outside depending on the weather. We had a big group of seven, and the service was fantastic! The staff made sure we had everything we needed and were super friendly throughout. That said, we were seated near the garbage bins, which wasn't ideal--there were a lot of wasps buzzing around, which kind of took away from the experience. As for the Eggs Benedict, it was just okay. I've had better at other places, and for the price and portion size, I felt like it was a little on the expensive side. But I get it--this spot is on Yonge Street, so rent probably isn't cheap! Would I return? Probably not, but it's definitely a cute place to check out if you're in the area and looking for a nice, cozy brunch spot!

Yelp
I recently visited MIA at 11:00 AM on a Sunday and had a lovely experience! We waited about 30 minutes for a walk-in table, which wasn't bad considering it was a busy morning. While you can make reservations through their Instagram, keep in mind that only 30% of the seats can be reserved in advance, so it's a good idea to arrive early if you prefer not to wait. We were seated indoors, but the patio looked beautiful and inviting. The service was prompt, and our meals came out in a timely manner. We tried the seasonal special, lemon ricotta peach French toast, which was absolutely delicious--definitely a must-try! The other menu classics were great. The restaurant is on the smaller side, and I noticed the bathrooms are located downstairs through a narrow alley. Unfortunately, they're not very baby-friendly, and navigating with a stroller might be a bit tight. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant for a nice brunch outing. Just be prepared for a cozy atmosphere!

Yelp
Came here for brunch and tried the avocado toast. This was delicious! Would recommend for brunch, but come earlier if you can to snag a table. Note there is outdoor seating at their patio in the summer.

Yelp
Very enjoyable brunch! We went on Saturday around 11:30 and were lucky enough to get a table for 2 straight away. We had the pineapple/orange juice mimosa which was great and I ordered chicken and waffles with the maple crème drizzle. The drizzle was perfect, just a dash of sweetness. Also excellent black coffee. A little loud but a cute spot!

Yelp
Long wait but MIA is a nice place for brunch in Toronto, their burger with egg is very good and I loved their Putine.

Yelp
I hadn't been here in a few years, but it's just as solid a choice for brunch as it ever was! Patio fills up quickly so we had to sit inside. Not a big deal since it's a well appointed restaurant. My kids loved the French toast and the pancakes were awesome! Service was very friendly and efficient.

Yelp
Absolutely splendid brunch here. The food was so good that I pretty much licked the plate clean. These are the best chicken waffles (~$19) I've had in awhile. Unfortunately did not get to take any home, but I'm still thinking about how juicy the chicken was, and how delicious the sauce was.

Yelp
Coworker recommended this place and off I went with a friend on a weekday around 1pm. We waited approximately five minutes for a table to be cleaned up but otherwise were seated promptly. I feel like Mia is more than 3.5 but just shy of 4. We ordered the chicken waffles and avocado toast. The food took a while to arrive but our lattes arrived quickly. Not a big fan of their latte. The chicken was juicy and I liked the sweet sauce on top. The waffles were a nice texture and not too dense. The avocado toast you can pick the way you like your eggs and I got them soft poached. The home fries were sadly cold. Otherwise I enjoyed the overall plate. I would come back if I'm need of a brunch place midtown and I definitely do want to try their French toast!

Yelp
MIA has been on my radar for some time, and I finally came here on a Saturday morning with two girlfriends. We arrived around 10:30, and got seated past 11. The hostess was informing everyone that there was a wasp issue on the back patio, which meant most were waiting for an indoor table. There was a steady stream of customers during our entire meal, so be prepared for a wait if you're coming for weekend brunch. I ordered the Crunchy French Toast with an iced latte. My friends got the Chicken Belgian Waffles & Eggs Benedict. Everyone seemed really happy with their food - I loved the textures of my french toast and the sweetness of the toppings. Great brunch option in the growing food scene at Yonge & Eglinton.

Yelp
Pros: - Fast and friendly service - Cute decor and patio - At least the food I tried was very tasty (especially the cookies which are made the order) Cons: - A bit pricy for the quantity of food you get - Hella wasps on the patio, though shoutout to one of the servers for hanging up wasp traps, you a real one

Yelp
Their chai tea latte ($5.50 - $5 with $0.5 supplement for oat milk) was a wonderful way to warm up while pursuing the menu. Fragrant and perfectly sweetened, it was just what I needed to melt the cold shivers away. All before tucking into a plate of chicken Belgian waffles ($19), the dish that enticed me to book the reservation in the first place. The three thick pieces of fried dark meat had a well-seasoned crispy crust, which looks thick but is rather light with the excess batter breaking away while cutting into the chicken. They were juicy and tender and could easily find a home between a soft bun to become an amazing fried chicken sandwich.

Yelp
I've been coming to this place the past year and it's a regular favorite! There's always a line on the weekend, so I recommend going when they open to get seated. During the summer there is a garden patio at the back of the restaurant for more seating. Pros: Good food and portions. The pancakes, and fried chicken are a regular favorite of mine. Most recently tried the poutine and it was delicious ! Decent service, friendly staff but sometimes a bit slow when they get overwhelmed by the amount of people (if there's a rush). Cons: Drink selection and portion could be improved, imo. Coffee is not the best and is a very small portion. I usually get coffee after my brunch. Price: Fairly standard - 4/5 Seating: Limited in the Winter but back patio is quite nice in the Summer- 4/5 Taste: Delicious! 5/5 Service: Great people but a bit slow during rushes 3.5/5

Yelp
Tried this spot on a weekday afternoon and it was as packed on a weekday afternoon. So that's a good sign. The space is clean and modern looking. You can sit at the bar or grab one of the tables. There is a lot of natural light from the large windows. The service was great. The staff is energetic and cheerful. They navigated a busy brunch crowd with apparent ease. We had an order of pancakes and chicken and waffles. The deep fried chicken was delicious. It was crispy and juicy. The the smoked bacon bits really completed the dish. The pancakes were average. They came as an assorted stack (a plain pancake a blueberry pancake and a chocolate chip pancake). I've never encountered anything like this and am not a fan personally. However, I can see someone else enjoying the diversity of flavor. Where MIA loses points is their insistence on serving "table syrup" instead of maple syrup. Syrup is not the place to save money. Not for a brunch bar, and definitely not in Canada.

Yelp
Got here around 12PM and added my name to the wait list for my friends and I. On a Sunday afternoon, it was around 40-45 minutes of wait time to secure a table. I could see that they were busy especially in the back for their brunch. They have some tables on the street but that's for customers who only want to grab a drink/snack. The back patio is for their brunch. We sat underneath a big tree which provided us with great shade but also ambushed by many bugs!!! The aesthetics of the patio are on point and it was beautiful dining there. I ordered the avocado toast which included 2 eggs any way (I chose poached), smashed avocado, tomatoes, crumbled feta, balsamic glaze, multigrain rye bread, salad, and home fries. This hit my avocado toast craving. The poached eggs were made perfectly and I loved how the feta added a hit of saltiness. The avocado smash was also delicious. The home fries were a bit bland but that's okay. I also got to try a bit of my friends' pancakes and chicken and waffles and they were both delicious. Our server was nice and checked up on us often.

Yelp
Wonderfully warm and friendly service here. Great little brunch spot just a block south of from Yonge/Eglinton. I sat inside because I didn't want to wait for a patio table but their hidden back patio looked so lovely. Front patio is small but dog friendly, and good if you like people watching. We got our cookies first and they were fresh out of the oven! Very ooey gooey on the inside and crispy on the outside. Eggs Benny were perfectly runny and came with hash brownand side salad. I opted to add avocado and smoked salmon because that's just a winning combo! It usually comes with English Muffin but I asked to have it removed which they happily did. French Toast is encrusted in cornflakes for added crunch and texture! The maple cream was just the right hint of maple sweet, but they also give you maple syrup on the side if you want to drench it in syrup. Would definitely come back!

Yelp
This restaurant has very stylish decor. Great atmosphere. Attentive service. The breakfast was delicious. I had beni eggs with salmon and coffee. Really enjoyed the food and my time here.

Yelp
Came here for brunch on a Sunday around noon and there was a 20-minute wait. They have lots of seating available either at their outdoor front patio, back patio (I recommended waiting for a table here), or indoors. Unfortunately the back patio is always packed so we chose to sit in the front to avoid a long wait. It's a little noisy and busy because it faces the main street and you also see the huge line of people waiting for a table right in front. The service was good and despite being outdoors, our server came to check up on us pretty often to see if we needed more water. My friends ordered the avocado toast with eggs and smoked salmon and I tried their chicken and waffles. We also tried their grapefruit juice, iced latte, and mango smoothie. The drinks itself were pretty average and a little expensive ($6 for my iced latte) so I recommend going down the street to grab a coffee after. There's a bunch of nice cafes in this area. The food itself was delicious and did I mention AESTHETIC. The chicken and waffles came with 4 big pieces of chicken and it was crispy and juicy with loads of flavour. My only complaint about my dish is that the waffle was a little dry. My friends both loved their avocado toast and said that everything tasted fresh. I highly recommend coming here for a cute brunch if you're in the midtown area!

Yelp
Came to have brunch on a Tuesday, didn't have to wait long for a table. Once, we are seated we get to order right away. The holiday hot chocolate has marshmallow, cinnamon and candy cane on top, but can't really taste the hazelnut. The presentation of each plate is beautiful and the taste did not disappoint us. First, the chicken waffle, the chicken is juicy and has a right flavour, but the waffle is kinda soft. Then the avocado toast, beautiful egg yolk with balsamic and cheese, is a nice combination. The egg Benny is great too, love their potato sides. Overall, great place for brunch.

Kelly L.

Yelp
We had the BEST brunch. Best avocado on toast in Toronto! Hands down! Eggs were perfectly cooked and a healthy helping of feta cheese in the secret sauce. Loved it. A very cute little spot near Yonge/Eglinton. We also lucked out because we had the loveliest waitress - Sarah. She brought our grapefruit mimosas pronto and was beyond helpful with suggestions and very attentive. A charming young lady who made our girl's lunch that much more enjoyable! I highly recommend you visit but you will likely have to wait a bit for a table. It's a happening little spot!

Yelp
Very cute brunch spot with a lovely outdoor back space with seating. Usually very busy the times I have been with wait time (they text when table is ready). Service is very friendly. Food is delicious (hence I've been many times). The only downside is it can get quite busy and especially if you sit inside, it can feel busy, loud and a little hectic.

Yelp
Came here a few weeks ago and they changed how they make their pancakes, they tried to make them fluffy and thicker but it is actually alot denser. I was really disappointed because I loved how their pancakes were before and was always nagging my wife to come here.

Yelp
We had such a pleasant time eating brunch here last weekend. Excellent service and covid practices. You can dine inside and outside as they have front & back patios (very nice on a sunny day). There are only four tables in the dining area which opens up the space quite nicely allowing sunlight to pour in, and makes for really nice photos. With the large window you have a great view of Yonge St. So even though we had a long 30ish min wait for our food, at least the dining area was nice to sit in. And when our food arrived, it was totally worth the wait. I absolutely loved their chicken and waffles! The fried chicken was crispy on the outside and soo juicy on the inside. The warmth of the juices and all its flavour linger in your mouth even after you're finished. Just amazing. One of the best chicken I've had. It's coupled with a caramel glaze to go with the waffles. I was so sad to finish my plate, I wanted more!! The avocado smoothie was perfect as well. Light, creamy and refreshing, not too sweet, kept me wanting more too. I would totally order this combination again. The servers were friendly and polite. Big smiles all around giving off welcoming vibes. MIA really gave me a good lasting impression. As we left I shared with my boyfriend that I would love to come back again. Even though we're a 40-min drive away, I can't wait to be back for our next #brunchdate!

Yelp
Really liked this little spot south of Eglinton station. Bright pleasant room. Staff are friendly and anxious to please. Good menu with excellent eggs Benny. A bit loud but not disagreeable. Nice patio in back.

Yelp
One on of the last warmish days of the year, I wanted to hit a patio and MIA Brunch Bar had been on my radar for quite a while. We showed up around lunchtime on a Saturday and the place was surprisingly crowded, although we were able to snag a sweet table on the joint's back patio. (That back patio, by the way, is fantastic. I'd easily rank it as one of the best patios in the Yonge/Eglinton area, if not the best.) After considering a bunch of tasty-sounding options, I finally decided to go with the Rise n' Shine Burger ("6.5oz handmade beef patty, lettuce, tomato, cheddar cheese, pickles, sunny side up egg, french fries"). It arrived about 20 minutes later and the presentation was definitely impressive. (The pickles had been shaped like a heart and everything.) But this was not quite the delicious burger I'd been hoping for, ultimately. The various condiments were fine, but the patty was cooked a little too close to well done for my liking (i.e. this was one dry hamburger), and I wasn't crazy about the various spices that had been mixed into the patty. The fries were tasty, though, and I certainly enjoyed my Brown Derby cocktail. I think that patio is the big draw for MIA at this point. I will return at some point to try some of their other offerings, to be sure.

Yelp
Pretty brunch spot in Yonge and Eglinton. I gave this place a shot with my husband and we both liked it. We tried their signature fried chicken waffles and salad with fried chicken. Service was a bit slow though as we dined in right after they reopened.. their back patio was nice and cosy. Highly recommended if you are looking for a brunch spot in the neighborhood.

Yelp
Only one word to describe: AMAZING. I've come here 3 weeks in a row now since first trying this place out. It actually take me a 45min drive from Markham to get here, but it's totally worth it. I've been getting the same thing every time: Fluffy Pancake Trio, a side of scrambled eggs, and grapefruit juice. Their scrambled eggs are perfection--lightly seasoned, fully cooked, but still moist. I never knew I could be so impressed with something as simple as a scrambled egg, and from that I knew this place is special. The pancakes come in original, blueberry, and chocolate flavours, are fluffy as promised, and crispy on the edges. Where else can you get 3 flavours of pancakes on one plate!? They're the best pancakes I've had in Toronto, even better than popular places like Mildred's Temple Kitchen out west, and Sophie's and Eggstatic on Bayview (though Eggstatic's Lotus Biscoff Pancakes comes close). I really should try the other items on the menu, but I love the pancakes so much that I keep coming back for it. And for those who love their brunch with a cocktail, this place offers a few choices, not just Mimosa.

Yelp
On a Saturday late morning, my boyfriend and I decided to give this place a try for our brunch. There is a nice back patio with trees around, which was a huge plus on a hot summer day. We ordered several items (eggs, home fries, fried chicken, salad and pancake). We really liked fried chicken (juicy and crispy) and the avocado bruschetta and salad were good as well. At the end we also ordered pancake since it's supposed to be very popular. Probably I had higher expectation than I should have. I thought the pancakes were good but not mind-blowing like some reviewers have described. However, their maple cream is awesome, so do give it a try. Overall, good food quality and good atmosphere, and good staff.

Yelp
Ordered salmon omelette and liked it! Service was great and the backyard is very lovely.

Yelp
Brunch review! GREAT! Street parking is available in front of the store but limited! MIA has a nice vibe to it! It was packed when we got it! Wait time was short although we were a party of 5! But smaller parties (2-3) seems to wait longer! The staff are friendly but were overwhelmed! Probably because the place was packed! It took about 20-30min to serve the food! The kitchen is clearly busy and number of servers was short so our fries and pancakes were cold! The food (mushroom burger, chicken waffle, pancakes and rise and shine burger) were amazing! Nicely cooked and very tasty (except that pancakes were cold)! Overall a place that you should try! I bet you will enjoy it! I will go back again!

Yelp
Tasty food but the price was a bit high for the servings and the atmosphere felt a bit cramped and busy. It was a good experience but I'm not sure I'll be heading back anytime soon

Yelp
Love how when you order pancakes, all 3 pancakes are a different flavor so you don't get sick of them!- regular, blueberry and chocolate chip. It also comes with this amazing maple whipped cream that is so delicious. Their chicken and waffles is also delicious, usually I'm not a big fan because the waffles are soggy but this one wasn't! And the fried chicken is so good. I've also had the smoked salmon omelette which is basically smoked salmon and greens rolled in an egg wrap. Personally I thought it was just ok, and wouldn't order again. The salmon taste is really strong, which I enjoyed but not everyone may like it. Overall, I wish they had a little bit more options to pick from on their menu. Too bad they don't have eggs benny.

Lisa K.

Yelp
Adorable brunch spot. Mostly sweet options, easy parking, nice servers. Had the avotoast which was +++.

Yelp
Went for brunch on a weekday and it was very quiet. The decor is minimalist and very beautiful. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Our server was very attentive and nice. We enjoyed both the French toast and the chicken and waffles - decent portions and aesthetically pleasing.

Yelp
First to review!!! They have just had their soft opening. Check out google maps for other reviews. Fantastic breakfast! Service was excellent, very attentive, very pleasant. Decor was nice, as was the ambience (very chilled). Coffee was great and right now for their soft opening it's complementary with a meal. We had the pancakes, which were amazing (see other photos from reviewers). Great presentation, smart idea to have one chocolate, one blueberry and one raspberry (I think). The maple cream and maple syrup topping was so good! We also had the granola, which was a good portion, tasted very fresh and was not too sweet. Coffee was good too! Cannot go wrong. This place will get rammed in the summer as they have a large back patio! Go check them out!

Yelp
My boyfriend and I got the salmon omelette and french toast, both of which were amazing! The omelette was very tender, thought a little hard to cut due to the asparagus, and the side salad was surprising flavourful. The French toast was super crispy, the cream that came with it was delicious. The backyard patio had great ambience with lots of trees around, you'll hear the subway tracks occasionally too. I knocked a star down because I noticed near the end of the meal that my glass of water had a lot of white cloth fibers floating in it, which really really put me off. Hopefully they change how they clean/dry/store the cups. Also, you get a very small (mimosa) glass of orange juice.

Yelp
Love this brunch place in midtown Toronto, right at Yonge and Eglinton. Must try the Chicken Waffles and the Crunchy French Toast! Highly recommend!

Yelp
The atmosphere and decor is beautiful. We waited in line for about 15 minutes. The staff was wearing masks. Our order took around 40 minutes to arrive and the dishes came in separately (which I think is unacceptable for the price, I expected better service). Although the food was incredible. The French toast was crispy and the maple cream paired well. The scrambled eggs were cooked to perfection.

Yelp
We came here on a Sunday 11:05am, waited about 7 mins before being seated for 2 adults and 2 kids. Between 11-12 pm there's already people lining up. If u come after 12, should be ok. Overall vibe was chilled, good mix crowd , nice customer service but a bit slow.. We ordered the following Smoked salmon omelette- very good, strong smoked salmon flavour. Doesn't feel like I'm eating a typical omelette tho as it's presented like an egg burrito. There's a side spring salad but that's it. 8/10 Pancakes - this is the best of our order. We all loved it as a family. My hubs isn't a pancake person but he enjoyed this! The syrup they have tasted delicious...just everything on it is good! 10/10 Everything salad- nothing special about this. I regretted this order but I wanted to be healthy so that's what happened. U can get this kind of salad anywhere so save your $13 and order something unique like chicken and waffles which I see others who have ordered. After that we weren't full so we ordered a side fried chicken. It came in 3 pieces (but menu said 2 piece) so that was a pleasant surprise. Chicken was crispy crunchy on outside and nice and juicy on the inside. I loved it. It might be the same chicken as the one they use for chicken and waffles ... 8/10 for the chicken. Coffee and milk 3 dollars each- not worth it. But at least they do free refill on coffee! Their menu is small and they have a few vegan options. s since I'm trying to be a vegan I might come back again but only when I feel like splurging :)

Yelp
This place had a nice backyard and tasty brunch . The Staff are polite and friendly. The price is fair.
