This Italian restaurant is solid and a fits in well with all the different establishments on Main Street! I came for brunch and enjoy the spaciousness of the 1st floor! That is an additional level and a bar with many seats! I chose to have the Baby Wedge and Short Rib Hash…my friend had the Crème Brûlée Stuffed Brioche! The wait staff was attentive and the portions of the food were generous! The meal required additional seasoning, but overall flavorful! We weee celebrating 🎉 our birthday’s. I will return to experience more of the menu!

This place was (insert profanity here) FANTASTIC! It’s honestly the best Italian restaurant in Manayunk for gluten-free eaters and I HIGHLY recommend!! The hostess was very knowledgeable about their gluten-free options when I called, which made me feel really comfortable eating there. I had the Ragu with the GF ricotta gnocchi substitution (pictured below) and I’m still dreaming about it! My friend also got the regular lasagna which looked spectacular. Can’t wait to go back and try their GF pizza dough!!

The restaurant had a cute atmosphere and our service was great! Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. The braised short rib was a block of meat that basically did not melt in my mouth. The sauce was flavorless. My friend’s pasta was missing salt. We did however love the tiramisu cake! It was the best thing ever. Thank you.

The food at Mia Ragazza is amazingly delicious and flavorful! I've dined here several times, initially for my Bday. My go to fave is the fettuccine lamb ragu, which simply melts in your mouth. The rolled lasagna, salads and suppli appetizer were delish as well. You can tell that their food is cooked with love and an unique Italian restaurant. I can’t wait to try the rest of the menu. As for if you have a sweet tooth, the desserts are delish such as the tiramisu and cannolis. I have yet to try their brunch, however I am excitingly anticipating it soon. The customer service here was always superb and nice ambiance inside and out. I have dined in and had take out. Mia Ragazza is now one of my fave restaurants in Manayunk!!

We celebrated our son’s birthday here tonight and were so happy with the dining experience. We had an excellent waiter, delicious cocktails, and the meals were all so large we were able to eat them family style to each try a dish. The plates were the bucatini, parpadelle, the rigatoni and the pizza was absolutely delicious. The ambiance was so beautiful, like stepping into an Italian village, the beautiful paintings, decor and lighting is so intimate and romantic. 5 stars for this evening.

After I posted my first review of this restaurant, the manager of Mia Ragazza asked me go back, with the promise that everything would be great. I really wanted to like this restaurant, so the next time I had business in Manayunk, I decide to try it again. This time everything was perfect. The whipped ricotta appetizer (which we loved on the first vist) was once again delicious. I had the Bucatini Carbonara Stracciatella and it was so good. The bucatini was cooked to perfection. My husband had the Pappardelle braised short rib, and he really enjoyed it. The highlight for me was the butterschotch pudding. Unlike the burnt mass I was served the last time (which I incorrectly identified as burnt caramel), this pudding was perfect. Unfortunately, I ate the whole thing. I forgot to take pictures, but the presenrations were lovely. As before, the service is impeccable. The atmosphere at Mia Ragazza is lively, but not too loud. I am so happy I went back. It won't be the last time. Former review: I really wanted to like this restaurant. The drinks (My Girl) were delicious and the service (especially Farren, our server) were beyond expecectations. The Whipped Ricotta was absolutely delicious. My partner had the short rib pizza, which he raved about. I had the Casarecce Lemon Crab Creme Fraiche. Unfirtunately, the dish had lots of red pepper flakes, which was not mention in the description. I cannot eat red pepper flakes,because they make me extremely sick. I sent it back and our server, Farren, was extremely apologetic. My partner finished his dinner before I received my replacement Casarecce Lemon Crab Creme Fraiche. It was very good.l, although I felt rushed to finish it,because my partner had finished his meal before I received my replacement. I ordered the caramel pudding for dessert. It was absolutely inedible, because the caramel was burnt. I should have returned it, but I had already returned my dinner, and felt bad returning this. My partner tasted the caramel, and he couldn't believe how bad it was. In hindsite, I wish I had returned it, so the pastry chef was made aware of how horrible tasting it was. We really liked the atmosphere here, and our server, Farren,was exceptional. It is unfortunate that my dinner and dessert were unacceptable. I would like to return, but with so little attention to details, I am hesitant to do so.

Mia is a gem!! The food was fantastic!! Our server Dawn was amazing!! She had me laughing from the second we walked in when I ordered the tiramisu espresso martini. She was down to earth, funny and extremely accommodating!! My husband and I will absolutely be back!!

Mia's must be a staple for any Manayunk/Roxborough locals. The value of their happy hour is greatly complimented by the quality of their food and drinks. Though they lack in options on tap (which every other Main Street bar has in spades) they more than make up for in cocktails and spritzes. Their half off wine bottle specials also never cease to impress. They're generous with their pours, season their pizzas to perfection, and have a menu that changes periodically to stay fresh. The upstairs bar is charming and perfect for people watching as folks walk by Gay and Main Street. Perfect for a lone adventure, date, or get together with friends.

Mia in Manayunk is a solid choice for well-executed Italian food. We were started with fresh focaccia and olive oil, which was a great way to begin the meal. For appetizers, we shared the meatball and the gnocchi. The meatball was tender and flavorful, served in marinara, topped with whipped ricotta, and garnished with focaccia. The gnocchi was pillowy and cooked perfectly. For my entrée, I ordered the Casarecce with lemon crab crème fraîche and grilled shrimp, and it was excellent. The sauce was more than just lemony. It was creamy and rich, with sliced garlic adding real depth. The lemon added brightness without overpowering the dish, and the toasted breadcrumbs on top gave the perfect contrast in texture. The grilled shrimp were cooked just right. We sat upstairs in the enclosed rooftop area, which had a really nice ambiance. Service was about a 3/5--pleasant but a little hands-off. Overall, the food and atmosphere made it a spot I'd return to.

One of my girlfriends brought me to Mia Ragazza to celebrate my birthday. This has to be a favorite for all the locals in the Manayunk area. We found parking right out front on a weekday evening. It's metered and you can conveniently pay using the Park Mobile app. Saying they have a fantastic Happy Hour menu is an understatement. The Happy Hour specials will not disappoint. We ordered the whipped ricotta with 30 minutes to spare. It was a large portion for two people. It had a hint of lemon flavor and the sliced pita bread was soft. Just a few moments before we got the whipped ricotta, we were served complimentary focaccia bread with olive oil. It was also quite delicious and salted nicely. It's vibrant and lively inside. I enjoyed the dim lighting and the music they had playing the most. The eggplant rollatini really knocked my socks off. Looking at it made my mouth water. The rollatini was fried underneath the sauce! Even though this caught me by surprise, it was a very flavorful way to change up the dish. I'm used to having it baked. You can tell the sauce is homemade and simmered to perfection. Service was fast and friendly by both the hostess and waitress. There were several customers waiting to be seated when we left, which reassures me this isn't a place that has hit-or-miss moments. They must be consistent every time. Definitely worth checking out if you're in Manayunk!

Came here for restaurant week and it was an amazing deal. The food was so good. I really need to come here more often

The happy hour of all happy hours, it's a shame I haven't tried more items off of their full menu. I adore this place, thanks to the recommendation of my friends who travelled over an hour to come here. Burnt pepperoni pizza, short rib pizza, and the meatball left me wanting more and more and more. The cocktail was also delicious!

I had been wanting to try Mia for so long! I took my son here for his 13th bday because he loves Vodka pasta. We went early and were able to get Happy Hour Specials (some cheap glasses of House wines, app specials, and a selection of $11 pizzas). We opted for the vodka pasta (I got mine with burrata and it HITTTTT), the whipped ricotta and my other son demolished the pep pizza. The atmosphere was calm and ambience with very cool. Special shoutout to Nick our server. He was attentive and kind to us. A great experience and will definitely be back!

Delicious handmade pasta! Our favorite was the short rib parpadelle. The parpadelle pasta itself felt very thin and delicate, like light blankets, and tasted delicious! The lettuce in the Caesar salad was fresh, and the Parmesan shredded super finely. The meatball was excellent too. And the foccaccia! So chewy and satisfying. The doppio was good but not exactly my favorite flavor. I think I was a bit thrown off by the lemon but that is just my opinion. Otherwise will definitely be back again!

Came here for brunch with a few friends a couple weekends ago. The service was extremely accommodating and friendly we got there a 12 minutes before the kitchen closed and they didn't rush us but we knew what we wanted at the same time. Food came out quick and delicious!! Drinks were strong and well made, the interior was beautiful as well. We mentioned we were celebrating a birthday and a complimentary dessert was served for our friend which was so sweet. Great place for brunch!!

The ambience was excellent. They have indoor, outdoor, and rooftop seating. The drinks were good, and I had the rolled lasagna, and my friend had the salmon. The waiter could have been more attentive and come to the table for refills more often, which would have earned them five stars

We came here for brunch and were blown away! From the start, the cocktails set the tone, fresh, creative, and perfectly balanced. We shared a large meatball as an appetizers and it was tasty and beautifully presented. Our main dishes, a flat bread pizza with braised beef and figs, caesar salad with shrimp, and a braised beef hash were high quality and cooked to perfection, showing the kitchen really knows what they're doing. The atmosphere was welcoming without being too loud, the staff very friendly, and the service very attentive without ever feeling rushed. It's rare to find a brunch spot that nails both the drinks and the food, but this place does it effortlessly. We'll definitely be coming back and recommending it to friends.

First time going and it was happy hour. I'd heard of this place before and had it on my list to try, so was happy when the person I was meeting with suggested it. I lucked out on getting parking right in front of the restaurant - yes, right on Main St at 4:30/4:45 on a weekday in Manayunk. Cute vibe with dimmed lights. Staff are all really friendly, greeting me with really good, positive energy and smiles when I first walked in. Bartender was cool also and helpful in choosing a drink. We ordered a few things from the happy hour menu to share: Calamari, Bruschetta and the Burnt Pepperoni pizza. Everything came out hot and fresh, and was very tasty. The price is good too! Specialty cocktails for $8?? Apps that are good portion sizes, tasty and filling for $9??? Recommend giving them a try. I plan to come back for happy hour and would want to try them for dinner sometime too.

It's times like these that I wish Yelp had half stars since I'd give my experience here a 3.5. The dining room is absolutely gorgeous, and I wish we were sat there instead of right next to the large TV and bar. I went to use the bathroom upstairs (not sure if it's accessible, if that's a concern for you make sure to call and ask!) and saw how beautiful the restaurant is in every other area. A bit disappointed to be sat in what seems to be the worst seat in the house, even with a reservation. The food was okay, honestly. For the price I'd expect a lot more favor from it. My favorite dish was the bruschetta. The bread is delicious and it tasted so fresh! I didn't feel the same with the eggplant rollatini. The dish lacked flavor, which was upsetting since the eggplant was so crispy! As someone who doesn't love salt, I was wishing there was a salt shaker on the table. We were here for my birthday and I still had a great time with my partner. Nothing was *bad* but it just wasn't *good.* I think if we were sat in the nicer area or ordered different dishes this review could be more positive.

Solid Italian restaurant that offers homemade pasta and delicious cocktails. Service is great and staff are always friendly. The restaurant offers additional seating upstairs with another bar area. Both HH and regular dinner menus are worth checking out.

Went for Saturday Brunch felt completely robbed. $14 for 4 pieces of leaf lettuce (Spicy caeser salad) & $7 for 2 little ass lemon ricotta pancakes. In addition, I ordered a Pseudo spritz, a $7 bottle of Still & a bowl of fruit. My total came to $50, robbed! You see the pictures. The quality & amount of food for the price is ridiculous. After eating my leaves & laughable size pancakes I was still hungry & asked to order something else only to be told the kitchen was closed, it was 2:44pm. My total came to $50, robbed! Lovely restaurant. Lots of seating inside and seating out front and in the back. The happy specials were nice and it was shareable portions. I enjoyed the short rib pizza. It was on the sweeter side due to the sauce. The service was quicker and our waiter checked on us frequently. I would return.

Been eyeing this place for a while now; the aesthetic of the restaurant each time I've passed by has always looked inviting. So happy I was able to give this place a try because I was pleasantly pleased. I started out with the Island Baddie cocktail, which I forgot to take a picture of, but it was delicious and the perfect way to kick things off. Next, I ordered the sort of spicy Caesar salad and I asked for a side portion which in my opinion was a pretty nice size. Not a huge fan of the large pieces of lettuce could've been chopped up, but I get the presentation. The shrimp flatbread was a little basic. In fact I could've ordered something else, but it was OK overall. My star rating is solely based on the tiramisu espresso martini I ordered for dessert. What a nice way to end the night and I believe that was one of the best espresso martinis I've ever had in my life and I cannot wait to come back and try another one--Until next time Mia!!

Came for an invited brunch hosted by Converse, LiveNation & Roots Picnic. They had the 2nd floor private room reserved. First off that 2nd floor is gorgeous. I loved the high glass ceiling that brought in all the natural light. Also the outdoor space is great for getting fresh air. During a dinner gathering or private event. The brunch drinks were incredible. My drink was the Queen of hearts but all drinks were made skillfully. Food was great I had a lightly fried calamari appetizer with red peppers and for brunch entree I had the short rib hash topped with an egg. This dish was rich and tasty. For dessert I got a bread pudding topped with blueberries, not too sweet. I don't live in Philly but if I did, I would definitely be back to eat here again.

Food and service is always excellent here, definitely recommend coming here, especially if you're embracing Italian summer and want to enjoy a nice spritz and quality Italian cuisine

So delicious! Very much enjoyed sitting outside what seemed like a quaint cafe. The food was incredible and I honestly could have chosen from various meals that looked phenomenal! We had some trouble getting our wine and dinner service in a timely manner but it didn't ruin our experience.

I came here when visiting a friend and was obsessed. To start, the server brought out the most delicious bread with oil (which is how we knew it was going to be good). My friends got the tiramisu espresso martini, which I tried and can say was delicious. I only wish they had a mocktail option since I don't love to drink. My friends got the pasta and all raved about it, but I opted for the pizza. The pizza had an amazing cheese pull and even better flavor. The portion was also huge for the price, which is wonderful since usually flatbreads and such run as a small appetizer size. But I ended up getting two and a half meals out of it!

This review is for their happy hour which runs M-F 4:00-6:00 PM Great Price points with $5 drafts $6 wines & $7 cocktails. A small selection of appetizers for $8 and 4 Roman style pizza choices for $10 The Italian Old Fashioned gives more of a Black Manhattan vibe with its sultry semi sweet undertones. The margherita pizza was tasty and large. Shoutout to my bartender Jules, she was awesome and handed that busy crowd like the true bar boss that she is, never missing a beat in mixology skills and service.

A nice new addition to Main Street. Reservations are recommended. We went on a Friday evening and the place was full ! I didn't even realize how big it is, with a little courtyard in the back and bilevel seating. We were seated in the window overlooking Main Street. Perfect Date night set up . We ordered the Potato agnolotti and Margherita pizza, the agnolotti was a tad bit salty, but the pizza was fresh, perfect amount of dough and sauce. The highlights were the entrees, I loved the chicken Parm, it was bone in, with a side of garlicky fettuccine. It was perfection! (All the pasta was handmade so it was amazing !) The NY strip was amazing as well, but I am a chicken person. So happy to have a good Italian restaurant in the neighborhood.

Mia Ragazza is located in the former Bernie's (and previous to that Derek's) location. I'm glad they choose to following in the footsteps of Derek's more than Bernie's. While I have not had a chance to experience a regular meal, I was impressed with their Happy Hour offerings. HH runs from 4-6PM and brings you discounts on all signature cocktails, low priced pizza, as well as discounts on all apps. I loved my Italian Old Fashioned and similarly enjoyed my Raised by Wolves (although not as much as the Old Fashioned), the pizza stole the show. For $8, you get a nice sized personal pizza. I picked the shrimp and artichoke and was happy to see shrimp and artichoke on every slice. Between a pizza and an app, I left happy. Again, happy hour only review at this point. We sat at the bar and had amazing service. Overall, yes please to Mia Ragazza.

The cocktails are the best part about their happy hour - the whole cocktail menu is $7 and they are some of the best cocktails we have had! The tiramisu espresso martini and blue bee lavender cocktails are our favorites. The pizzas are a great size and are $8 at happy hour (including their short rib and pepperoni). Their calamari is great - very crispy with an addictive sauce. They give you a few complementary pieces of their focaccia as well. Any time I get out of work early enough - I'm there!

I was so pleasantly surprised! I live in south Philly and haven't been to Manayunk since college but saw Mia Ragazza had incredible reviews so I figured why not! It was INCREDIBLE. The restaurant is so unique and the layout is SO COOL! I sat at the upstairs bar and the bar tender / waiter was so nice and friendly and helped us right away. Started with drinks which were actually phenomenal. I'm usually picky when it comes to cocktails but they were great. Split the calamari and got the salmon and burnt pepperoni pizza to split as well. All of the food was delicious, the ambiance was nice, and the lighting was perfect! Earlier in the night we still had natural light coming in and by the end of the night it was a nice quaint atmosphere with more a more dimly lit setting. Oh and the prices weren't bad at all! If you are looking for a great drink or quick bite, this place has it all!

One of my friends recommended this place, and it did not disappoint. Although I didn't order any pasta, my friend did, and I tried it. It was certainly fresh, and even though it was vodka sauce, it leaned more towards the tomato side. Overall, it was still good. If you want a place with fresh food, I would recommend it. I ordered the pepperoni pizza, and it was great, with no complaints at all. The service was also very friendly, making the overall dining experience enjoyable. I also ordered a "My Girl" drink, which was great and had a kick to it, a perfect complement to my meal. The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, adding to the overall positive experience. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a great, fresh meal in a welcoming environment.

Mia Ragazza is one the BEST restaurants on Main Street. We sat upstairs and the view is really cool out to Main Street and looking at all the hanging umbrellas. Our waitress was AMAZING and gave us amazing recommendations on what to order. We started with tbh e fried artichoke hearts, which were perfect. They were lemony, cheesy, and had a perfect bite from the picketed red onion. We then ordered the spicy Caesar salad. This was such a unique flavor for a Caesar dressing that I absolutely loved. A must order if you come here. Finally, we ordered the vodka rigatoni. Our waitress recommended we add burrata to the top and it was AMAZING. The burrata made the vodka sauce so creamy and was a perfect complement. I will definitely be returning to Mia Ragazza to try other menu items and the tiramisu espresso martini.

I came here yesterday and sat at the bar . I had the best experience ever thanks to my server Jessie . She was the sweetest most accommodating person ever ! I ordered the beef carpaccio appetizer which was phenomenal . For my entree I ordered the salmon risotto and Brussel sprouts . The food was 10/10 . Drinks 10/10. My server was 20/10 and I can't wait to come back !!!

Trendy little Italian restaurant in Bala Cynwood! we were staying nearby and this came up highly rated on yelp. Stopped in on a Saturday night around 7 PM and it was packed! Not even the seat for two at the bar and wait would've been an hour. Thankfully, the manager was super kind, and so I was leaving and found a table for us. Was super nice! Definitely recommend getting a reservation. As for the food, My boyfriend had the chicken Parm and loved it so much. He said it's probably some of the best chicken he has had on that dish and he's a really tough food critic. I got the fettuccine Bolognese, which was good, but I felt like I need a little more spice or flavor. I regretted not getting the spicy rigatoni just to have that extra kick! I had a side Caesar salad as a starter, which was delicious! For drinks, we had an espresso, martini, and old-fashioned, a New York sour, and a glass of red wine. All drinks were 5 stars! Enjoyed our time here. Definitely check it out if you're in the area.

My favorite happy in Manayunk!!! They have a $6 $7 $8 special which is fantastic. You can get beer, wine, cocktails, and a fantastic selection of apps and pizza.

I think about this place OFTEN. Huge portions for a great price. The pappardelle with short rib was somehow both unique while also very comforting. The tiramisu espresso martini is GENIUS. The Gorgonzola agnolotti is, understandably and predictably, THICK and heavy, but if u and your table mates each want to give it a try then go for it! The pesto risotto with salmon is one of the only GF things on the menu but was delicious :) my friend and i had a wonderful time for happy hour +they have great happy hour deals (espresso martini was only 8 DOLLARS)

So overall- cute place. However, for how expensive it is, not my go-to Italian. Their drinks are fabulous, and the desserts are yummy, but it's really pricey to have dinner here. If you want a cute little sweet treat and drink, this place is great (the tiramisu espresso martini and cannolis are AMAZING). I saw their brunch and happy hour menus and they seem better priced, so I'll have to try that next time.

This has to be one of the best happy hours in the city in my opinion Monday-Friday 4 pm to 6 pm for $7 cocktails and $8 pizza. So far I tried the short rib and pepperoni pizza that are delicious and it's a good size. My fav drink was the old fashioned and espresso martini

Mia Ragazza is a huge upgrade from Bernie's. The upstairs space is so nice and bright! We went during happy hour and split the short rib pizza and calamari which were both extremely reasonably priced! The short rib pizza was a little too heavy on the Gorgonzola for me, and it could've used more short rib. But we loved the calamari and would definitely get it again. I'm not sure I'd pay full price for some of the items but it's a great happy hour spot.

This place is 2 stories and has a bar downstairs and upstairs. It's pretty big but also pretty crowded. Food was great and the drinks great as well. The salmon tartar was my least favorite item I tried, the potato chips don't really complement the dish and the salmon was a bit chewy. My fiancé got a flatbread and that was tasty. My pasta was also really good and tater freshly made. Overall a solid place for a date night or event.

We were super excited to try this spot for the first time. We ended up waiting almost two hours for our food. We left without getting our food since we were tried of waiting, after being told multiple times it'll just be a few minutes.

Solid spot. I went here with 3 friends recently and we all agreed it's way too loud. We sat at a table in the back and it was hard to have a conversation. The table next to us overheard us complaining about the sound and they said they were just saying the same thing amongst themselves. Our server was friendly and helpful. There was a manager who cleared two of our entrees too quickly as the two others were still eating. It made us feel rushed and our friends plates who she asked to take to pack up still had a decent amount of food on them. Just weird like let us all stop eating first before you ask if we want something packaged up. The food was mixed. We enjoyed our apps more than our entrees. We had the spicy Caesar and calamari. It really wasn't enough food to share as an app amongst 4 people. We should have asked if it was enough or the waitress should have told us it wasn't enough. The app portions are pretty small. We had 3 pastas and the chicken parm as our entrees. My chicken parm was good but the presentation felt like something out of an Italian wedding in the 80s. Big square white plate, sauce in a big pool on one side of the chicken, pasta on the other side. Just a bizarre presentation compared to the pastas that came out in nice modern bowls. My friends said their pastas were ok. I forget which ones they got. I think this place has a lot of promise and hope it succeeds. If I come back I'd probably just sit at the bar and have a few apps.

A very welcome addition to Manayunk! Delicious food, solid wine selection, and great happy hour. Their chicken parm a la vodka sandwich is what dreams are made of.

So good! A very chill but chic setting, the outside area is cute too! I've never had bad service here, and once when it was a long wait for food our server gave us free limoncello! Food is solid and fresh
