"Mia Saigon, on the bank of the Saigon River in Thao Dien, is a newly opened hotel inspired by HCMC’s early 20th century Art Deco, with interiors showing French-Indochinese influences, from marble bathrooms to rattan chairs."

The Mia Saigon was everything we expected and more. The suites are wonderfully decorated and spacious; there wasn't a thing in the Riverside restaurant that wasn't delicious and well-presented. There was a good mix and range of foods for breakfast, with additional freshly cooked options on the menu. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. Overall, this hotel is a piece of luxury tranquility just outside but close enough to the hustle and bustle of Saigon. Highly recommended.

My family and I had the most wonderful stay at the beautiful Mia resort in mid December 2024. We stayed for 5 days and would 100% return and recommend this beautiful place to anyone. It's an exquisite oasis in the heart of HMC and very beautiful photographically! A special shoutout to the super helpful staff members Kendal and Khang at the reception, Trang and Nhung who were rays of light at our breakfasts and dinners and the wonderful French head Chef Eric for whom nothing was too difficult and always had time to appease and chat to guests or create up something a little special or unique!|We cannot wait to return to Vietnam but especially this wonderful place!!

Mia Hotel Saigon is a lovely place with nice staff and well-kept, clean rooms. We had a pleasant stay, enjoying the beautiful rooftop bar and relaxing spa. However, the outdoor seating at the downstairs restaurant was a disappointment—wild cats were running around, and the staff simply blamed it on being near the river. Hygiene control should be better at a hotel of this standard. Otherwise, a great stay! ⭐⭐⭐⭐/5

At first, we were eager to experience a boutique hotel in Ho Chi Minh City, especially as loyal Four Seasons customers. The hotel has a charming and intimate atmosphere; however, we were very disappointed to find that it operates more like a short-term rental, with the owner seemingly trying to squeeze extra charges from guests. For instance, we were billed approximately $3 USD for a soiled towel, which we believe should be considered part of standard operations. Additionally, we were questioned about the bamboo slippers provided to guests, which we naturally assumed would be discarded after our four-night stay. Instead, we were taken aback to learn that they intended to reuse them and would charge us for any missing slippers at checkout. We have decided that we will not return to Mia Saigon. This establishment falls short of luxury and lacks professionally trained hotel staff. Their response time to text messages is slow, and often we had to visit the reception to remind them of our inquiries. Furthermore, there were multiple weddings taking place over the weekend, making it quite uncomfortable to swim among the wedding guests. Lastly, although the hotel advertises a free water transportation service on their website, it was not operational during our stay. Location of the hotel is 30 min. from all the touristy attractions so you are required to take a taxi to get around town (but taxi is very inexpensive in Vietnam).

If you're looking for some respite from the hustle and bustle of district 1 in Ho Chi this is a great option. The hotel is on the river so extremely scenic and relaxing, and many nice restaurants nearby... also very close to an upmarket ex-pat area so lots on offer and a short maybe 20 min cab ride to district 1.||The hotel is definitely 5 star luxury, the staff the food and accommodation are all top notch with really magnificent decor throughout we did not want to leave, highly recommend!! Thank you Mia we will definitely be back!! ❤️

The MIA Hotel is a beautiful property with a classic, slightly colonial style—chic, minimalist, and tasteful. Its location, about 30 minutes from the city center, is actually a highlight, as it’s near the river, offering a peaceful and scenic setting. However, our experience was significantly marred by the handling of noise disturbances during our stay. Upon check-in, a staff member politely informed us that there would be “a little noise” for three days due to an event. They even provided a note with the hours when the noise would occur and reassured us it would be minimal. This seemed reasonable at first. Unfortunately, the reality was completely different. On December 29th, there was a loud event (perhaps a birthday or celebration) with live music and a singer, and the noise was overwhelming. The music was so loud that it could be heard clearly inside the rooms, on the balconies, and even in the rooftop area. It was impossible to enjoy the pool, the terrace, or even relax in the rooms. Watching a video, making a phone call, or even reading became impossible. The noise continued all afternoon and into the evening, far beyond what one would expect from a five-star hotel. I am not sure if this type of event happens frequently at this hotel, but I cannot recommend it to anyone looking to truly enjoy the hotel’s amenities, relax by the pool, or simply rest. If you plan to spend your days exploring the city and only return to the hotel to sleep, it might work for you. However, if you are expecting a tranquil and luxurious experience, this hotel will not meet those expectations. While we understand that events are part of hotel operations, this level of noise in a luxury establishment is unacceptable. Guests who are staying for only a few days deserve a peaceful experience, especially in such a serene and upscale setting. There was no real compensation or acknowledgment of the inconvenience caused, which makes the situation even more disappointing. For a hotel that markets itself as luxurious, this was a major letdown. Despite the lovely setting, the inability to enjoy the facilities or have a peaceful stay made this experience fall far below expectations. For these reasons, I am rating the MIA Hotel with just one star. This lack of consideration for guests is simply unacceptable for a five-star establishment.

Absolutely incredible hotel from the get-go. The rooms are gorgeous, clean, comfortable, and have a beautiful view of the river and pool. The staff could not have been more attentive, friendly, and accomodating. The food was high quality and delicious and the breakfast buffet was delightful. The hotel is in the perfect location, away from noise of the city, however still only a short taxi ride away from the heart of Ho Chi Min. 10/10 stay at the Mia Saigon, highly recommend.

This is my 4th time coming back because I love this hotel so much. Great service, amazing food, beautiful building and rooms. Spa is very relaxing as well. One time I went on my birthday weekend and the staff went the extra mile to make my birthday special by bringing out a cake and took a photo of us with their instax. It was very cute.
