Mia Zoi Loukoumades

Passed by there by chance when I wanted to see the Venetian city wall (unfortunately it was under construction). The loukoumades there are absolutely delicious. I already knew this specialty from Cyprus. But these were much fluffier, so you could soak up the sirup with sesame seeds better. Served with a double Greek coffee. What more could you want? 🙂 Highly recommended!

The only reason I don’t give this five stars is because we don’t like the syrup the Loukoumades is served with. It’s traditional of course but we are not into anything too sweet or syrupy- we should have got it with the honey instead which is a different kind of sweetness but still sweet. In any case the Loukoumades itself is fantastic.

I totally recommend this place! I'm a greek born and raised in Greece, but they made the best greek donuts (loukoumades) I've ever eaten! The prices are so cheap too!!! We came here twice during our 3 days in heraklion. It's a cozy old place (since 1922) , and the people who own it are so kind to us ❤️ I recommend the greek coffee (about 1.20€) and greek donuts with honey and cinnamon (classic one's) for 3.50€ I think We also got a spinach pie for 2.50€

I recommend this place! It is the best place in Heraklio to eat the special and traditional Greek desserts. We tried various of them and all have achieved our expectations. Also, the owner was very nice and hospitable. I hope to come back soon.

We found a spontaneous place for traditional Greek desserts. I guess today is our lucky day because we got to experience it in the best place.

Right in my neighborhood, I grew up eating the BEST Loukoumades on the planet here. Nice variety and sizes different fillings. They also offer take out and delivery and serve coffee and drinks

Best bougatsa in town. We tried all the high rated bougatsa in Heraklion. This place has the best cheese bougatsa and loukoumades that you can think about.

Best in Town. And very creamy Ice. Ig you like sweets, this is a must.
