Yelp
Love coming here so much to look at. Very artsy. Very expensive shopping area but you can find places around. Love walking around. There is a free restroom. And lots of things to do around.

Yelp
If you're looking to get into some damage in your wallet, look no further. From my experiences, it's been done. Shopping heaven for all your designer lover with stores literally at every turn. It's a few blocks radius with all the designer stores that you could possible want. Beautiful location with tons of picturesque spots. It a favorite among influencer so more than likely you'll run into someone you follow on IG or any social media platform. They do have a good amount of restaurants spread out which is nice. Art display is pretty cool accompanying the whole esthetic of the place. Upscale shopping Mecca but even a stroll along and window shopping or people watching is worth it.

Yelp
I don't even know how you can leave a review for something like this, but I just wanna say that I really enjoyed my visit. I stopped and looked at all the Art. I drove up and down some streets. parking is plentiful but you have to pay for it. shout out to all the artists that contributed to this. it's public property so it's free. You're welcome to Rome is out and about as much as you like And get something to eat while you're in route there's plenty of restaurants places to eat grab something. Nothing much to add other than it was a cool experience and if you're in the area, check it out for yourself

Yelp
Very nice nice area with upscale boutiques and galleries, designer shops and fine dining options. All the decorated stores and storefronts, sculptures in the area and also the museum have created a great vibe in the area. We definitely enjoyed walking in the area and were amazed by the creativity put into this beautiful place.

Yelp
Pros: + Gorgeous area to stroll around + Lovely luxury stores + Great for photo ops + Beautiful sculptures and pieces of art to explore IG: QueenOfAdventureNYC

Yelp
Poppin' tags! This place is the place to be seen. I saw more Lamborghinis driving through here than I saw anywhere else. You see all kinds here- people dressed to impress. There's shops galore- multiple locations for some. There's food, a food court, and bathrooms, and plenty of public art and wonderful landscaping to see. Parking is Valet, of course. There's a parking garage that they can park your car in, look for the black and white artwork on the exterior. I heard that the designer of elements of the Design District had based this area on Barcelona's posh shopping district. There's no shortage of luxury here. Hermes, Dulce & Banana, Gucci, Fendi- they've got it all here. No, there's no hardware stores around here. The place is clean, and has lots and lots of public art- be sure to check out Buckminster Fuller's buckydome by the food court.

Yelp
Have not been here during the day but it will for sure be a place I will add to my daytime must visit list. I found by mistake be a use my car needed to be charged and their parking garage is Tesla charging station heaven. Well I guess Tesla store across the street does help. Lolol.... Nice location to leave the Tesla charging and just take the walk and see all the local designs.

Yelp
If you are into luxury brands then this is THE place for you. All the top houses are here. Dior, Prada, Fendi, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Pucci, St.Laurent where I gagged over a 25,000.00 leather trench coat. I should have snapped a picture but I was too busy picking my shocked eyeballs off the ground. I obviously know my lane as far a luxury good are concerned, my feet are firmly in the LV, Gucci, Fendi, Prada range, but still its nice to look and see and touch and aspire! I also need to say at every store we entered every one on staff was very welcoming and friendly. Not pretentions here and that is beautiful because you can not judge a book by it's cover. You don't know what people have in their wallets. And speaking to this as well, I saw and heard people from all the world shopping down here. Every language you can imagine. Some people were definitely representing in their couture but there were just as many who were chill and casual myself included and still got treated well. Amongst the shopping the grounds are nice as well. Beautiful landscaped pathways, patios with umbrella covered tables and swing areas for children and yourself! There is also a great food court called Mia Market that will also be reviewing.

Yelp
This area has transformed into one of the best shopping areas in the world. It's Fifth Ave., Beverly Hills, and the Champs Elysees all wrapped up in one. Beautiful outdoor shopping and entertainment. Stroll the streets and you will find Dolce and Gabbana, Gucci, Christian Louboutin Dior, Prada, Cartier and more. It's a watch heaven with branded stores from Breitling, Bulgari, Panerai, Hublot just to name a few. Tons of restaurants, art galleries, and event space as well. The first time I was here they had a great Louis Vuitton pop up. There's plenty of paid street parking and there's a garage close to all the stores. It's truly a sight to see. Luxury Shopping where the worlds of high fashion, art and food come together. If buying a new bag or shoes is out of your budget, don't worry, there's some of the best people watching here. The experience should not be missed.

Yelp
reminds me a lot of rodeo drive back in Los Angeles! a lot of designer stores and plenty of photo worthy places. everyone's dressed so colorfully and be aware that it's super hot and humid out when walking around! plenty of seats to rest and a few food trucks out. but enjoyed my first time here :*

Yelp
The Miami Design District is a must-visit for anyone looking to get a taste of Miami's artsy, trendy side. Whether you're an art aficionado, a shopaholic, or just someone who loves soaking in a cool atmosphere, this place won't disappoint. I heard this described as the Rodeo Drive of the East Coast, and that is a really fitting description. Luxury and ultraluxury brands cover this 3x4 grid of an outdoor shopping center, which can be very sweaty if touring on foot. Hopping in and out of stores to window shop is fun, especially if you're into the finer things in life--bags, watches, clothes, the like. Make sure to dress nice, though! Came in t-shirt and shorts because of the heat and it was not the move.

Yelp
An absolutely beautiful place! You have to come here if you're in Miami, not just for high-end shopping but also for the aesthetics. The stores and architecture here are beautiful and there are lots of places and sights for photo-ops. Parking is actually quite affordable considering this is Miami. For 0-4 hours, it's only $3. Plus the garages themselves are nice too, especially the Museum Garage which is art in of itself. If I ever go back to Miami, I'm definitely coming back here!

Yelp
This is basically a luxury outdoor mall featuring buildings with fashion, jewelry, restaurants, galleries/museums and other high end goods. The area is pleasant and it has a lot of stores around, like Armani, Dior, Burberry, Gucci, Cartier, etc. The area is roughly between 36 and 43 streets on the east side of Miami. There is ample parking via garages including the famous Museum Garage. A nice place to spend some time (window!) shopping or just wandering around. plus the architecture is very modern, combining geometry with green areas. You can easily go around for a couple of hours. I came Sunday for the Miami Concours event and love it! Also, make sure to go to the second floor. There is a relaxing sophisticated swing area surrounded by flowers. Great for a photo op as well!!

Yelp
The Rodeo Drive of the East Coast. The Miami Design District is the epitome of luxury eye candy, where both style and substance coexist harmoniously. Primarily an outdoor shopping plaza, the Design District goes far beyond the usual offerings by providing an array of high-end stores and aesthetically pleasing restaurants that cater to diverse tastes while ALSO incorporating a wide variety of art. What truly sets this district apart is its unwavering commitment to design, as evident from its name. Artistic expression and visual creativity intertwine with every facet of the area, allowing for an incredibly stimulating shopping or walking experience. While strolling along the sidewalks, you will encounter striking sculptures and interactive, kinetic installations that engage both children and adults alike. The allure lies not only in the shopping experience but also in the artistic essence that pervades the surroundings. Regardless of whether shopping holds your interest or simply a Miami pastime, the Design District offers an abundance of substance to appreciate in the form of art and design. Its a one-of-a-kind haven where creativity thrives and where each element is thoughtfully integrated, making it an exceptional destination for art enthusiasts and connoisseurs alike.

Yelp
Along with Upper Buena Vista just north of it, the Miami Design District dates back to the 1890's when it was a small village, home to cracker's who migrated from Georgia and North Carolina to farm pineapples in Florida. Along with Lemon City and Little River, Upper Buena Vista and the Miami Design District are the oldest settlements in Miami. Many of the homes here date to Florida's land bloom years of the 1920's when the first subdivisions were built. Twenty years ago Miami native Craig Robins recognized the potential of this part of Miami and he started purchasing buildings in the neighborhood for the purpose of creating a place with exceptional architecture, design and experiences. L Catterton joined Robins as a partner in 2011 and encouraged luxury brands to move into the Design District. Today there are more than 120 flagship luxury stores in the district along with restaurants, public art, event spaces, museums, and galleries. There are four parking garages in the design district. I \have only used the Museum Garage and it is only $3 to park. There is also some limited street parking. I love to come here to nosh, window shop, take pictures, and see free art. It is also a pretty awesome place to people watch. If you are looking for something different to do in Miami, the Design District is full of fun surprises. You can subscribe to the Miami Design District newsletter on their website, follow them on Instagram, or like them on Facebook to stay on top of all the happenings.

Yelp
I wasn't sure if I wanted to give a 3 or 4 star rating. I am going with 3. This area is super congested. I was here on a Saturday and imagine it is a little less busy during the week. So many streets..so many pedestrians...so many cars. It gets chaotic. I met my friend here. I wanted to come here because I haven't been to the Miami Deaign Dostrict in a while. The last time there were not nearly as many stores...or maybe I was in a different area of the district. I also needed to get a necklace repaired at Roberto Coin. This is probably the lowest end retailer in this area. This area sort of reminds me of Beverly Hills. A whiff of it anyway. So many high end stores. Heck even in the high end "food court" I saw a small entree for $42. Not all the eateries are that pricey. But still. It is a little over the top for me.

Yelp
Our next family adventure take us Desing District located in downtown Miami, the art district offers the opportunity for local residents and tourists to visit and enjoy this complex of shops and restaurants for everyone who wants to buy and eat. A great place to spend time with family and friends together, restaurant offer the best option to eat and stores with in increble decoration, highly recommended.

Yelp
VALET SCAMMED US! Beware! Last night we attended an event at Omare. I valeted my car across the street in front of the MC Kitchen at 6:36PM. After the event we went to dinner at MC Kitchen. We came back to the valet and retrieved the car at 10:34 PM. The valet attendant actually walked over to my group and told me it was $10. I thought at the time I must have just missed the 0-4 hour time frame which would have made it $5. I paid him in cash and gave him a $5 tip. Today after looking at the texts from the valet I realize I did indeed make the under 4 hour mark by a couple of minutes. I requested a receipt through the text and this where I saw I was scammed. The receipt shows I did indeed only owe $5. The kicker is it shows I paid $5. It also says I gave a $3 tip. But the really disturbing part is that it says I paid with a credit card and shows some random swiggly line for a signature. To recap I paid $10 CASH and $5 cash tip. So not only did they scam me out of money but there may also be credit card fraud involved. I despise thieves. I will be calling the design district today and I will update with how they respond. I am not letting this slide because if it happened to me it's happening to other people. My guess if that they target people who are really close to the next price based on hours. For me it was two minutes. I should also mention that the valet offered to park my car out front for $25 when we arrived.

Yelp
While it is a lot more sophisticated aka bougie now compared to the early 2000s gentrification and art renaissance, the Miami Design District (aka the northeast end of Wynwood Art District) has always been a fun spot to hang out with great restaurants and funky displays. Earning the name from its history as Miami's heart of fashion and interior design, it has now become more of a high end shopping destination with high end art exhibits. For example, the Moore Building - former location of a very fun Yelp Event and an old furniture store - recently held a socially distanced Basel event complete with a rooftop bar. You want high end Cuban food? Estefan Kitchen's got you (previously enjoyed by me). Aubi & Ramsa have yummy boozy ice cream, Balenciaga for the pretty sneakerheads and Louboutin will have you tapping them 6" heels with the red bottom. Armani Exchange for those suits; Tesla has your car ready as well. Although there's a nice parking garage with public art facing I395, their valet is pretty convenient in that you can get your car at a different block from whence you came. It's definitely a cool place to spend a couple of hours around!

Yelp
Oh why have I never done a review of the Design District? I thought I had - so apologies for that. However / and a big BUT, if you don't know about this area by now and have lived in Miami/ and / or are visiting Miami, shame on you. Get your arxx over here and discover a plethora of expensive shops, architectural dreams, art popping up everywhere and fun, fun, fun. Oh and instagram worthy photos ops for all the wannabees/ braggers. Great place, enjoy!

Yelp
I went yesterday fan art event. Typically Art Basel would be this weekend but due to covid this year was a bit different. We were able to buy tickets in advance through eventbrite and had to choose an hour block schedule. It was pretty nice. I loved the 1 hour block because it wasn't so crowded as you know it usually is. You had more time to enjoy the art. The items and art was great. Staff was making sure the covid safety protocol was being upkept. I took a few pics to show you all. Complimentary drink once done with the 4 floors of art viewing. Covid details- We were offered courtesy Adidas mask which I thought were great as well. Time slots were avaliable in a 1 hr block to choose. We chose 4 -5 pm. Roof top access but with limited seating and spaced out for saftey features. Sanitizing stations on each floor upon entering through the stairwell

Yelp
Three words to describe the Miami Design District: BEAUTIFUL, MODERN, and UNIQUE! High end shopping, bougie restaurants, and classy atmosphere. My boyfriend and I came for the first time here and we loved it! It's bigger than we anticipated which is good! The parking garage at Palm Count is the most affordable which is $3.00 the first four hours. It's an outdoor shopping area so it's good on a sunny day. I cannot wait to go next time we do it will be during night time. P.S- I LOVE how they have hand sanitizer every couple yards especially COVID that's very important.

Yelp
Nice place . With luxury stores around and art work . Great atmosphere with some coffee shops

Yelp
I love the Miami Design District! It's definitely somewhere you need to visit if you're in Miami! It's such a classy place with great architecture. Unless you're someone who buys designer goods straight from the source, there's not much shopping. Dining is pricy. But it's worth checking out. There was ample parking and I loved the atmosphere. Will be back to check it out again in the future!
google avatar

Yelp
So so fun! Great luxury shopping area with fabulous food. The parking was a bit tricky but once we found a spot we realized there was valet. If it's raining valet also has free to use umbrellas. Don't miss the window shopping at Alexander McQueen. Simply to die for.

Yelp
I always enjoy the design district, for shopping, dinning, and special events! I'd like to mention a Skating event that was hosted on April 9th 2022 in the Jungle Plaza area and it was really fun! They turned the space into a skating rink, with DJ & food vendors from 7-10pm. You could bring your own skates, or rent on-site. It's the second time they host it, but first time I join, i had a great time skating with my friends and listening to fun music. Many very talented skaters were onsite showing of their skills & even choreographies. Definitely a nice way of using the space and inviting the local community to a fun night out. The theme of the event was 'Pride', and most of the music was disco-boogie themed. I really hope they repeat this type of event.

Yelp
Cool spot with designer stores and restaurants. Valet parking is $5 plus tip . Artsy area good for photo ops or some tik toks lol Usually gets crowded. On certain Friday nights they have live music or entertainment. Some dining spots you try. Tacombi ( New Mexican food on the block ) Mia market Miami ( variety of culinary experiences) Michael's Genuine food and drink ( pretty good food ) Swan ( upscale wear all your designer place ) lol Dior cafe ( only if you wanna pay $12 for a coffee ) lol Pura vida ( healthy food )

Yelp
A boujee outdoor mall in Miami. The Design District is exactly that. This area is filled with couture and designer fashion shops. From Louie to Fendi, you can find all your expensive needs right here. I'm not one with high priced taste but my favorite part of this area is the architecture. Buildings with their own flair and shops where the outside is just as pleasing as the inside. This place is a dream to photograph. I usually come here to take pictures and I was lucky enough to do an engagement shoot here. We were able to take pictures with the beautiful walls with different textures and designs. The main part of this area is work of art, itself. They also have a food hall here: St. Roch Market Miami. This food hall also has wifi, in case you'd like to get some work done as you eat. If you're looking for a place to stroll around or need somewhere expensive to shop, Design District is a good place to stop by.

Yelp
I was actually quite surprised how much food variation they have. The Louis Vuitton here is to die for! Coming from San Diego, this was beautiful! I recommend anyone visiting to check out the art galleries!

Yelp
Amazing art and designs! Amazing art in the design district! Had a amazing time taking photos!

Yelp
Miami consists of a mixture of luxury, high-end boutiques, restaurants, cafes, and architecture. It's a nice area to stroll through and spend money, of course. The architecture is so unique. I loved the cute light blue adult size swing. There was some type of outdoor market going on when we were there. I'm not sure if it takes place everyday. It started raining as we were leaving. The valet stations offered complimentary full size umbrellas--what an amazing touch. There is metered parking and a garage.
google avatar

Ashley S.

Yelp
Came here to check out the Saint Roch market but now I found out it's called me a Market. It's been a minute since I've been here but it's still the same concept open cafeteria dining experience but very fancy and luxury. Love the bar always in the middle great food great environment

Yelp
My favorite part about this review is the fact that this entire experience was accidental. I was with a new friend and we were wanting to see some sights in Miami so we parked in a spot we could find and started walking. As we were walking along, we kept noticing all kinds of designer places. Slowly but surely, we put 2 and 2 together to find that this cool place was called Miami Design District. I gotta say, I still have dreams about Miami Design District. It is one of the coolest places I have come across and it is the bee's knees for people like me that love design. Interior design, fashion, art; you name it, Miami Design District has it. I will say, even if you can't afford any of the items within Miami Design District (because same), it is still an amazing experience for window shopping. While we were walking through, we were peeping in all the windows just to see all the cool furniture, art, sculptures, etc. that they had in every store. Every store was so different and so incredible. If you want motivation to make a lot of money some day, go to Design District. It will make you want to hustle so you can afford so many of the amazing things within this area. As I said before, even if you think design is not your thing or you cannot afford any of the products within the stores, go anyways. See what Design District is about. I truly think that you won't regret it.
google avatar

Yelp
Plus: the new eateries and gorgeous layout and modern look. Minus: prices, parking and actually a waste of most of the space. We didn't need another Ball Harbor. The luxury stores are doomed here. They made that mistake again with New Brickell City center and there you saw stores closing down within months after opening. Total waste and unnecessary high pricing. I don't get why they keep creating these high end areas for which there is no demand. Luckily for everyone and especially our food obsessed yelp people, some great food venues were added as well.
google avatar

Atul S.

Yelp
We went around 10 am and this place was damn quiet with almost no traffic. Felt like abandoned. Could be evenings are colorful here. Many artistic buildings and modern architecture to pose for. Mecca for photography. Plenty of famous luxuries brands to shop here. Spent around 40min here.
google avatar

Glynda S.

Yelp
Neat place to visit. Lots of art and creativity in this neighborhood. Great food places in the area as well

Mimi B.

Yelp
If you travel to Miami you must go to the Design District. They have the most beautiful things a woman could ever want. It's a little heaven on earth. Like to shop then this is the right place. Everything is luxurious and expensive I might add. You name it they have it. All the luxury brands that you know. It also was a pleasant walk with so many places to eat at.
google avatar

Lisa A.

Yelp
This is such an absolutely beautiful place. The art, architecture, landscaping, stores are all so uniquely Miami. We came here for a quick bite at the food "court". I use the term loosely because this ain't no mall food court! Great place to walk around, fun swings, lots of photo ops for all you instagram users out there. But if you're coming to shop, come with DEEP pockets. Everything is high end baby.
google avatar

Kara M.

Yelp
This item has been on my Miami must see list for a long time, I was intrigued by the artistic and architectural elements of this shopping area. We had stopped at Wynwood Walls first, which is only a 7 minute drive from the Design District. I'm aware of the high price points at these stores, but we only came to window shop on our visit. You do need to pay to park, but the rates aren't bad if you are only here for a couple of hours. We parked in a garage and entered the shopping area through the large bubble structure. Kind of a cool entrance! The stores are mainly high end shops. You have currently hot designers such as such as Celine, Christian Louboutin, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Valentino, Givenchy, Hermes and Saint Laurent. Looking for jewelry or watches? Cartier, Tag Heuer, Tiffany & Co. and Harry Winston are here. It was honestly a little on the quiet side when we visited on a Sunday, I was surprised. They did have some kind of family friendly Halloween event going on with tons of kids in costumes when we visited, but we didn't see throngs of shoppers. The Design District is probably the closest thing Miami has to a Rodeo Drive like experience, other than the upscale malls like Bal Harbour. I liked Bal Habour more than here for high end browsing/shopping, being a New Yorker, I appreciate the lush and tropical vibes that they offer. Design District is more of an urban concrete feeling. If you are looking to high end shop, my absolute favorite spot in South Florida is Worth Avenue in Palm Beach over any of the Miami options. You don't have to deal with city driving, parking is free for 2 hours and much less of a hassle. Worth Ave is a much more peaceful and serene time by the ocean, plus Clematis street in nearby West Palm Beach has a large assortment of restaurants and some bars. We have even come up here on Sunday when the shops are all closed and it's fun to simply window shop.

Yelp
MISO concert: Don't even bother coming to this event unless you want to be standing up or having people walking infront of you during the whole concert... worse organization ever, Not enough seating, they started 30 min. late, super crowded, reggaeton before the concert? Really? We RSVP for nothing. Unless you are friends with Emilio Estefan and you can get in the VIP you will be standing up.
google avatar

Nathan D.

Yelp
Although its no longer the design district i remembered and in a lot of ways loved.. If you are looking for high end luxury shopping this is your 1 stop spot. The design district features brands like Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Louis Boutan, Tom Ford, etc. If the shops are out of your range they still offer something for everyone.. the space hosts free live entertainment from big name local performers to international singers and artists as well. they also feature a food market call St. Roch that features great food as well as other restaurants that are located around the shopping areas. Dont want food its still a great place for shutter bugs and ig photogs to get great instaworthy shots as it hosts lots of sculptures as well as public art and is architecturally appealing.

Yelp
The Miami Design District: The Next Bal Harbor Shops? If I were writing a news article, I'm pretty sure that would be my headline. But anyway, I'm digressing here. Come and see the Miami Design District, the up-and-coming area for luxury products and some good eats. Note that parking is on the street and you'll have to pay the meter. You can avoid this by doing valet, but they're $5, I believe, and cash only. You have plenty of designers around. Dior, Burberry, Christian Louboutin - you get the idea. You also have restaurants scattered about like Mandolin Aegean Bistro and Michael's Gourmet Food and Drink. It's a nice place to visit to see how the rich spend their money. That and tourists. Or you can simply go for an event or to go eat. Not much else happening.

Dave W.

Yelp
Land locked in our hotel, with a couple hours to spare, I was looking for a close (interesting) place to take the kids. Why not the Miami design district? Never been. Worth a shot. Trusty Uber delivered without fail, right to the doorstep. Interesting art installations both stationary and functional. Obviously the big solo cup was a hit, the swings, climbing structures. Expensive eateries, shops, and art galleries were interesting to walk by but the average individual is not welcome inside. Rich elite only, the Porsche, Lamborghini and Bentley crowd. Overall, I good place to go a watch the rich spend their money. There's a target within walking distance for everyone else.

Yelp
Mix of art, fashion and shopping. Only lacks a true eatery... had some dessert spots, but nothing truly substantial.

Yelp
Awesome place to see amazing stores! Parking is a little hard but totally worth it. Deff have to visit if you come to Miami! Www.stephanybarbozaphoto.com

Lauren G.

Yelp
Can I afford to shop here? No. But it's architecturally stunning and offers a different experience from the usual stops in Miami like SoBe and Wynwood. There are parking garage options that are reasonably priced. There are several dining options like St. Roch Market, Ghee Indian, Mandolin Greek, boozy ice cream and even a little Mexican food truck. I really enjoyed walking around to peruse the windows, the architecture, people watch, and of course - eat!

Yelp
What a cute touristy place that has art sculptures and monuments everywhere. I just love the decor all around, it's definitely a place to visit if you like taking pictures. My friend and I had a blast visiting the stores and just walking around exploring the area. There are high end stores here so you can get some shopping done as well and also a food eatery area. We didn't get to stay as long as we wanted; so we'll be back here the next time we're in town.
