Very pleasantly surprised by the huge selection and reasonable prices! There were many promotional sales going on - all clearly marked. Holiday decor is fabulous. The store was well stocked ad had a huge variety of products in every category. Products were merchandised well. The store was very busy, but short wait to check out. I will be back soon!

It took me a while to realize this but Michael's has too high of a markup on their items. I recently went in for tunisian crochet hook set and they have it marked at 179.99 dollars! The same product is available on Amazon for under 60. I was already uncomfortable buying anything from this store without a coupon. And now I realize that even with a coupon you aren't getting the best value. This particular location often doesn't have what I'm looking for and they refer me to the location that's further away. I miss Joann so much. I'll be taking my in-person shopping to Hobby Lobby. And anything they don't have I will be ordering online.

The girl at the register has been rude both times I’ve come recently. The first time was a few weeks ago and she was rude to my friend, and then I went today and she was rude to me too about a pricing issue. She said “well that’s not the price. I can’t do anything. She also kept saying her manager was coming up and they never came. Will not be patronizing this Michael’s again.

Went in for florals for wedding design planning...and the selection was pretty weak. Most of the rest of the store seemed stocked well enough. Prices a little on the high side, but that is to be expected with a specialty craft store. Average experience.

Went in looking for faux floral twigs for my vases. Pottery barn’s twigs are $40/piece whereas Michael’s has dupes for $4.99 each before coupon! Found exactly what I was looking for. Definitely will be back!

Definitely a great flower selection and a lovely clean store. If anyone does pay attention to this- MAKE SURE YOU'RE RANG UP RIGHT. I don’t know if the people that work there know this….but white wisteria comes in two different kinds. I was cheated out of $10 dollars today because she scanned my full bundle 3 times instead of once and my two smaller ones separately. The big bundle was $20, the small ones were $15 each. If I’m spending money for flowers I expect to get the right price for the specific ones I buy. Not for you to scan whichever one is easier for you. Please pay attention to this for future customers🫶🏻

Employees are nice, but this Michaels is a lot smaller than other locations, didn’t have anything I needed, and 60% of the store is Christmas decorations.

Found almost everything I needed and the male clerk there was very helpful. The female clerk on the other hand was so preoccupied with watching me and my mother (who are the only black people in the store) check out as if she’s convinced we’re going to steal that she completely ignored the 5 people forming a line until I took it upon myself to tell the other customers there were more self checkouts. If you’re going to be racist and preoccupied with it at least don’t make it so obvious you think we’re going to steal. It was an older woman 40-50ish with dirty blonde hair.

Went to have an art piece framed; Katie went above and beyond to assist and advise me.

Compared to the Aurora and Fairlawn locations, this Michael's has and will probably always be the absolute worst. In the past 6 yrs I've lived in the area, I have seen a fast decline in this store and will probably never return after my recent visit. In fact, I fail to see how their doors are still open as the location looked as if they were going out of business. Their prices have always been way too high, & the customer service is lacking in basic mannerism. Yet the most annoying part about my visit is the barren shelves. Almost every single ail was completely empty! If you're looking for fairy/dollhouse supplies- forget it, they had all of 5 related items. Need paper craft supplies for quilling, stamping or embossing; you wont find it here. Seasonal craft projects or decor... down to 2 sections of 1 shelf at best. I honestly did ask the cashier if the store was closing, she said " No, it's a restocking day" but it was hard to tell from the looks of things. They never have what I need but since Pat Catan's was bought out and Hobby Lobby goes against my personal beliefs this is the only choice that's close to home. Huge disappointment!

This review is strictly for the help I received on a Saturday morning. I was rushing to get some last minute items for a bridal shower and since I was not familiar with the layout of this store I had to go back and forth to the cash register to ask for help and directions. I know at one point I was probably annoying with all of my questions but Hailee happily helped me out and showed me where items were without even a hint of annoyance lol Thank you Hailee! All your help was much appreciated and helped me not to freak out!

I went to Michaels on December 8 and purchased additional pages for my scrapbook. I could not figure out how to put them in. The packet had no instructions. I even looked on U-tube. So I returned to the store with my album and refill packet and was directed to employee, Cheryl, who was so kind and helpful. She showed me step by step how to take the album apart, insert the spacers, etc. She made my day! You are lucky to have Cheryl on your staff, and I was lucky she was working that day!

Although this location is ten times better than the one in Aurora where my parents live, it still lacks when it comes to up & coming hobbies. The staff couldn't be more disinterested in customers and the lack of supplies (quilling, models for planes, trains, etc...) was frustrating. My mom also pointed out that their prices went up. We used to come here to get nice stocking stuffers/ small gifts from their dollar bins but now it's the same 'ol junk just priced a dollar or higher. However, compared to Hobby Lobby's choking religious views and Pat Cantan's bare shelves I'll gladly come back here when in Ohio.
