Excellent seafood. Monkfish bowl was outstanding, as were the chips. Lemon tart a great palette cleanser. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Can't wait to try Big Mike's next!

Food and service were absolutely fantastic! If you're looking for a seafood place, you should not miss out Michael's. They have a great selection of wines as well. Even their desserts were divine! I added this to my favourite restaurants here in Ireland.

Can comfortably say this was one of the best meals I've had in Ireland. Beautiful seafood and steak , excellent service. Lovely, cosy atmosphere . Can't wait to go back.

Google
A lovely little seafood restaurant that gets creative with their dishes -Try the periwinkles! Friendly, swift service and delicious food. Two complimentary starters: salted carmel butter with the fresh warm bread and goatscheese cakes. We shared two starters, seafood platter, Surf & turf platter and four desserts between four of us. Easily could have left the starters and desserts as the mains are so generous, but the offerings we're too nice to miss. Lovely place for an occasion.

This place is my favourite restaurant in Dublin. The food is absolutely amazing. The whole team are also the most welcoming and friendly bunch of people (shout out to Clare and Ivan the head chef) and we are always well looked after. Highlights are the steak, fish platter and the Arancini. I dream about the triple cooked chips too. Can’t wait for my next visit!

Food was amazing. The oysters are hugh, get them when you are there. Crab salad was amazing, make sure you get bread with it. The fish was the best. Flavorful and it fell right off the bone.

Yelp
Had an amazing meal here. The staff are attentive and knowledgeable. The menu is reasonably priced, and the food gets better with every bite. I ate with 2 friends and we all tried bits of each other's food. Everything was perfect, and generously portioned. I will definitely be returning.

Yelp
The definition of a hidden gem. Lovely little Italian with a huge selection of wine. On Tuesdays they have a pizza special worth heading over for. My pizza was delicious and will give any pizzeria in Dublin a run for their money. Great date spot for a Friday!

Yelp
Pros: Delicious food Friendly staff Reasonable prices Quiet and tucked away Cons: Tables very close Small place To say this place is a hidden gem is such an understatement. The food was nothing short of amazing. The waitress was lovely, and the chefs were very polite. The wine selection was robust, and im sure they have something for everyone. The prices were very reasonable for the service and quality of food. I had the tomato basil soup with the lamb and it was very good. The soup was hot and full of flavor, and came with a small side of warm bread. The lamb was plated on a bed of spinach, with au jus. It was very tender, moist and full of flavor. Will definitely come here again, and recommend anyone thinking about it to give it a shot.

Yelp
As takeaways go, it's hard to beat Michael's. In the current madness they've been providing a pick up and go service and we decided to treat ourselves to mark a birthday. It's a bit outside our 5km limit although we were more concerned about the food surviving the trip rather than the long arm of the law. Anyway, food collection is an exempted activity. For four people, we ordered two surf and turf platters which were good to go at the appointed time. By the time the food arrived it did require a little blast in the oven. None the worse for wear, however, we dived in. Everything about it was excellent, the beef was tender and luscious, the prawns plentiful, the fish excellent and the other bits and bobs equally tasty. Two massive portions of chips came with the platters. There was far too much food so dinner for two the following day was leftovers and, if anything, the chips were even better second time. Go figure. A great experience and I can't wait to enjoy the real thing as soon as they reopen. In the meantime, support this or your favourite local restaurant as best you can.

Yelp
This is a real treat worth a journey. Pass by union cafe and have some real food carefully prepared in an intimate authentic cafe. I've had my best lemon tart here (and trust me I've had many. )
