I had such a great experience with Jonathan in the framing section at Michael’s! He went above and beyond helping me with the mats I needed and was so kind and patient, even though it was already late in the day. He even managed to get my mats done the same night! Truly outstanding customer service — thank you, Jonathan!

I came in to buy 2 balloons for my nieces birthday. They told me it was a 4 hour wait. When I asked them to please see if they could help me with TWO balloons since this was for a birthday they refused and were very rude with their tone. I understand I maybe could have placed an order but this was 2 balloons. And to add to that, the girl in the front mockingly told me to have a great day as I walked out knowing I left upset. Really poor and rude customer service from this Michael’s team.. The two girls “helping” was one with the snakebites piercings and one with glasses inflating balloons. Great job helping clients ladies..

My rating is solely based on an employee I dealt with. Eddie was working the cashier, he was not friendly, condescending and unhelpful. I asked a question to clarify a misunderstanding I had with my purchase and he spoke poorly to me. Terrible representation for the company and I truly don’t understand how this individual was hired.

I choose this place to get all of my framework done. They do an amazing job and guarantee all of there work. I am very happy with there quality. I have been back to change backings and they gave me no problems and did it with no charge. I will definitely return to frame more pieces of art.

Angie was awesome!! I placed an online order and went in to pick it up. Super nice and extremely helpful. She also helped with some markers that I wanted to buy.

I put in an order to inflate balloons on for Friday morning at 10 am and when I got there to pick them up the associates didn't know they had orders. We waited an hour for all of our balloons to be inflated. The associates themselves were great and apologized repeatedly. This is a managerial issue. The store opens at 9 am and they were doing recovery meaning no one recovers the store after closing which is what is usually done in retail. Again, associates were doing the best they could.

I always come here to Michaels framing department every time I need to frame an art work. There may not be a lot of selections of frames to choose from but they do have a good variety and I can always find what I am looking for. They seem to always have a sale going on which makes their prices very good. They will give you a time when they expect the framing to be finished and they will also call to tell when you can come in to pick up your framing. Today I came in to rewire the back of one of my frames. Jonathan was very helpful and he had no problem doing that for me while I waited. Parking is always easy and I also enjoy walking through the store and seeing all of their seasonal items and arts and crafts.

I wanted to buy yarn, fabric and fabric tracing paper. There was no one in the store to help me locate these things. I wandered aimlessly and finally left and went to JoAnn's Fabric.

If you have children or are into arts and crafts, I'm sure you've been to Michaels at least once. They have everything you need to complete a school project, that's for sure. Science project boards, fabrics, glues, glitters- the list goes on and on. It is pretty organized, but finding someone to help direct you can be hit or miss. Also, some of the prices are in my opinion ridiculously high for certain things like wreaths or home decor. Also, lines during the holiday season get insanely long. Pro tip- check their website for coupons- they almost always have one available.

The person in the front JITHU was absolutely AMAZING, they made sure I was taken care of and even though I know from a cashier POV would have been a nightmare they happily helped me. I used come to this Michaels because I grew up around here, over the years I never asked for help because I knew where everything was. This time I went to return an item because I noticed a promotion of Buy2Get1Free was not added to my transaction along with an error from another transaction ( a little complicated to explain.) AND THEY ALL WEAR MASKS. I aways feel at home here, will alway be my #1 choice.

I love shopping at Michael's stores. I love their wide selection of home decor, crafts,art supplies and holiday decorations. I come by one a few times a month. I came by this Michael's because I was in the area and also because I needed to buy some frames for some certificates to give to several employees at the company I work for. The certificates were for three employees who really surpassed all their peers in preventing fraud harming the company. You know one of those morale building kinda things. I quickly went in and found three frames...total cost $25.00 including tax... not bad. I also walked around... certainly had the same wide selection of other items you would find in any Michael's and of course the wonderful customer service you expect as well.

Brand new location in the Shopping Center on the south side of Kendall drive just west of the Florida Turnpike. It's in the same center as Burlington, DSW, ULTA, Petco, Chick Fil A, Chilis. I love the layout and the employees are super helpful!

Only missing a star for some kind of empty shelves. that's sorta happening everywhere but at least spread out your stock and clear displays to keep your shelves full. besides that, this Michael's seems extremely clean and well organized. at the entrance there was an employee who wanted to do crafts with children, super cute! Prices were all around reasonable around the store. some were ridiculous and others had good sales going on. my sister got a pack of 3 canvas for $5 and some crayola oil pastels for $3. not bad in my opinion! They had plenty of easter and spring stuff in stock and 40% off! Easter just started! that's awesome! they also had St. Patty's stuff but most of it was already rifled through. They give teacher discounts as well, i believe it's 20% off and they will use that discount with coupons and clearance discounts as well. Plenty of things on clearance, they had a lot of different sections of clearance instead of one big section which was a bit weird but hey, there must be a reason. Great experience at this Michael's and this made me want to visit more Michael's to see their discounts and sales!

This is a good Michaels location. The things I do not like about this one is the size of the store, kind of small for al the things they have inside and the other thing I do not like is that sometimes is unorganized and for me that's VERY important. What I like about this Michaels is their promotions, they always have discounted things that I love and it motivates me to either cook more or decorate differently my house. Came here to get some supplies for a project my Neice had. She got poster board, pomp's, glitter, Goggly eyes. We had to find everything ourselves. There was no on the floor practically, on the front register. Sad but true. I gave 3 stars, good staff is hard, to find. No wants to work.

Michael has been at this location for as long as I can remember. It is a great place to become crafty and DIY. They are always having different types of sales here which is nice especially if shopping in a budget. They are very kid friendly and have all sorts of things for student projects and just your every day arts and crafts. Here at Michaels they also have DIY lighting for hanging modern style lamps. You can decorate your home with different family style frames for photos , message boards, mail bins, fake plants, real plants, and much much more!

I never knew how much I would love a crafty store until now. I had to run in to pick up some candles that were on sale for a moment. True, I haven't been into a Michael's in forever but I forgot about all the cute and cool things they have. I mean yes, they have all the arts and crafts, paints, stencils, and home paintings etc but they also have the cutest decor for your home and garden! The candles selection surprised me as they had the ordinary plain colored candles but they had a mixture of multicolored and glittered choices and all came scented. Some came with a cute stand or stood alone. Some were thick and could take up a lot of space on a side table and others were the perfect size to place anywhere.They even had bulky, and thin candles that came in sets. The variety and scents are all here and it took us some time to find the right one. There was just so many choices to choose from. I fell in love with the fairy garden homes and accessories. I wanted to make my own little fairy land for my home garden. They also had such nice decor for your home like vintage lanterns and signs. I'm obsessed with the letter "E" so I always look for any decor dealing with lettering. I also loved their nautical decor and dried shells. I wanted to take my time but we were really in a rush but next time I have to go up and down every aisle to see what else is in store!

Although I've shopped here my whole life, my last experience here is what brought me to write this review. I would say the typical customer service is normal, no one really putting to much effort into helping you, but when I went last time it was completely different. Two store associates, Ingrid and Jesus were assisting me in the frame department... a department that I have never purchased from before and had no clue how to start. These two individuals took their TIME with me, explaining everything that I may want/ need for the framing to be what I wanted. They went above and beyond for me and I am so grateful to have been dealing with them.

This is the closest Michael's to me, and although I feel it's smaller than other stores, I always have a good experience. The staff is incredibly helpful and it's very easy to pick up online orders. Their selection on holiday decor is great, and they always have some in the store front window. This makes it really easy to get an idea of what is available in the store. Parking isn't always the best as they share a lot with Barnes & Noble, but if you don't mind a little walk it's fine.

This store has terrible customer service. I returned merchadise that I purchased with my visa credit/debit card and they return it cash i stead of putting it back in the card I used. I dont want cash I bought it with my visa.

This is one of my favorite places. I have been coming to this Michael's since I was a little girl with my mother and I've always loved it here. I spend hours here sometimes looking through every aisle and coming up with different projects to make. I know it's known to be a rather pricey craft store but there is ALWAYS a bunch of sales, and coupons online. There usually isn't many employees around the store except at the register and the framing department in the back so it might be a little difficult to get some help. But if you approach anyone around the store, they are always willing to help you out.

This is my favorite Michael's store! The only thing missing here is a cup of Boba in my hand. :D (Lan Pan is next to the Michael's in Dadeland Station so I always grab a drink to sip on while I browse the store). Truthfully, the parking can be a pain some times but I've learned to skip coming here on their busiest days. Here, I like the layout, the selection and the custom framing department. The store is big and well organized. I always find what I need. I love their sticker collections. I have yet to use any of the hundreds I've purchase but I will ...one day! I rarely wait in line for more than a few minutes and if I do, there a tons of candies and impulse buys to keep me busy! The cashiers are usually friendly. I do wish they'd bring back the one line for check out. It can get a little crazy with so many lines forming. The staff in the Custom Framing department are always friendly!! Jesus, who should be referred to as "Master Framer", LOL is VERY knowledgeable and a perfectionist. Two qualities essential to his job. He has taken care of many of my orders. I just met Jezebel during my most recent order. She too is very friendly and helpful! Angie is new but a sweetheart too and quickly learning the ropes. If you're into custom framing, give them your email address so you don't miss out on any sales. The end of February Custom Framing sale was 50% off + an extra 25%. The March sale is 60% + an extra 10%. Be sure to check out the little black box (on the corner of the big Custom Framing counter). TIPS: The restroom is located at the back left corner right by framing. Check out the app called Coupon Sherpa for the usual 40% off one regular priced item.

Lot of time waiting and Megan the manager is very rough. I won't buy anything in this store.

When I'm feeling a little crafty, I come here to get my supplies with my handy dandy coupon. Nine out of ten times, I usually end up collecting stuff and not actually using it. But that's not important right now. The store is okay. Not the nicest Michaels out there, by a long shot, but it's fairly stocked. Staff is generally friendly and helpful. Tends to have very long lines which is precisely why I avoid it on weekends.

Found good stuff here. Staff ate very nice.Chocolate is on sale here too.I found lots of bakery accessories. Craftmade stuff here as well.

I love this place. Plain and simple. There's nothing better than a store full of crafty stuff and holiday supplies to shop in. You go for one thing and find so many other things to chose from. It's amazing really. I have always been crafty so this place is a dream come true. They always have pretty good sales on the holiday decor and they have very nice things to chose from. The trick is to go when they put the stuff out. If you wait too long you'll end up with very little to chose from. There's a section for whatever project you want to chose from. There's also little sales racks all over the store and they offer great deals. They always have coupons online and send them in the mail too. The only big drawback can be the lines. They can get rather long at times.

Best Michaels location. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I always find what I am looking for. The store is very clean and organized. Recently I had some custom framing done and they came out amazing. With the coupons I saved so much. I highly recommend this location!

My daughter loves the craft classes we go on Saturday the teachers are passionate and the crafts keep kids entertained for a while!

Bad experience at Kids Club at Michaels This morning my daughter and I attended two classes. I have so say besides the fact that she was doing some sort of arts and crafts I am utterly disappointed. When I came in the employee had no idea about classes or anything. Then I was ushered into a room, then back out because I needed to pay $2 which I gladly would have paid after. So my daughter started late. Then as more mothers showed up they were confused as well and the teacher expressed her frustration about her co workers in the middle of the class in front of the kids. She was not prepared and was flustered the whole time. There is nothing online that easily helps you sign up and pay in advance. There is just a huge time slot from 10-12 and all the moms like myself assumed it was a two hour experience but instead we were rushed out. I decided to try the 1-1:30 slime class because the teacher said I should. I went to the front paid and signed up in advance. I showed up on time the table was not set up for me and the teachers once again were flustered and rushing through the experience. At 1:15 we were told to get out because the next group had to come in. So my daughter had a total of ten minutes after the set up to create a snow globe with slime. Are you kidding me?? This was supposed to be a 30 minute class and instead we were rushed out like cattle. All the moms were so disappointed. We signed up for an experience and instead I should have bought the supplies myself and just done it at home. I am bringing this to your attention because I feel this needs to be addressed. I have a love-hate relationship with the Michael's on Kendall: Love: the location - it's convenient. Hate: the people who don't know how to park in the parking lot. That's why I park in the Best Buy parking lot and walk over. Love: the coupons that Michael's sends me every two days - 50% off one item, 20% off entire purchase, etc. Hate: the fact that Michael's doesn't always have what I'm looking for! I know they carry the items because I've purchased from there before, but if I need something on a certain day, it's not there! Love: the helpful employees who can point me in the right direction. I'm a pro now since I'm always here and know where everything is. Hate: the rude employees who are of no help at all. And with this love-hate relationship, I keep coming back. I may have a problem. Sidenotes: I've been told, and I've noticed, that they usually restock their baking supplies on Mondays. Try to avoid Michael's during the weekend. Also, try not to knock old ladies down - sure they don't watch where they're walking and don't know what they're looking for - so just steer clear.

What is WRONG with this location?? I can't believe what a mess this store is. I've had to go in here more times in the last month than in my last 28 years combined and I can't wait til I don't have to go there anymore. What a headache. The minute you walk in you feel tormented by the clutter. I've been to a few Michaels locations, and it's this particular store that really gets to me. They never have anything in stock, the shelves are a mess, and the lines are longer than Harry Potter World on opening day. I had to wait for about 25 minutes to purchase 2 small items. What in the world?! This place managed to get 2 stars only because I know the other locations are less torturous...and I had to acknowledge that they're doing something right in at least a couple other store locations. Why can't my Michaels be as nice as the one in Boynton Beach? Booo! Get your act together!

I am not a fan of this store but go because it's nearby. It's very messy most of the time. Barely any parking but I know that's because Barnes and Noble is next door with a Starbucks. The staff isn't too friendly and half the time they are out of stock on what I'm looking for so I have to go on a mission to track it down.

I don't know where to start but they need to put more products available , it's not possible that you buy something and the next week that product they say it no longer available ??????? Or they have only a few thing and then u can't buy it all

Horrible Lines on the weekends. Management obviously do not plan or properly anticipate volume of customers and do not staff appropriately.

Michaels is my staple place for the holidays. It is definitely a stop for Black Friday. I have bought chargers, decorations, wrapping paper, gifts for my nieces. It's very handy for an arts and crafts person, like myself.

I haven't ever experienced someone so rude as Ms. Telma! She was very disrespectful and not helpful at all.

I had a great experience with the framing department at this Michael's location. I had never framed a single thing in my life, so when I moved out and got some art for my place, this is the first spot I thought of when I had to frame some prints I bought. The guy who helped me out (his name is Uli) not only complimented my taste in what I was getting framed, but explained the process in detail, AND gave me a really nice discount when I realized that framing was actually expensive than I thought. Michael's may not be the best craft store in the world, but they deserve props for this experience - I'm definitely doing my framing here again.

This Michael's has come a long way in the past few years. They seem to have their cashier game figured out- the lines are nothing like they used to be. I love checking out their clearance sales just before, yes, BEFORE all holidays for crafts and home decor. Parking is very easy to find in the big lot they share with Barnes and Nobel.

This Michael's is a big dissappointment. Why? Because it's FILTHY!!! Don't let some of these photos fool you. Now I wish I took some myself. I mean I say it's okay because I did find what I needed, but eeewww!! When my 9yr old son can pick out how dirty this place is, what more can I say? The garage parking gets some used to but really easy to find. Next time I will be driving my culo somewhere else.

We can always find what we're looking for and stack up for the holidays coming up since they start a couple of months ahead. Great location in Kendall and friendly staff. They reconfigured their checkout lanes and i wonder how good it will work during the Christmas holidays and the area is crazy there. We get all the supplies for Halloween and Christmas here. Also check out the newspaper for their 50% coupons every once in a while.

Sometimes this location can seem to be lacking from its other locations. If you're looking for something it's probably gone or over priced. But they always have coupons online and their Homestead location is far better

The manager Ingrid is rude. As I was asking a question about an item she cut me off and didn't let me finish speaking. Once I got the item and was checking the quality and color, she snatched the item I was going to buy out of my hand and accused me of vandalism. When I told her I was going to purchase it she did not give it back and walked away. Completely unprofessional! The store is unorganized and the staff is not friendly!! Will never go back! Worst store ever! BE WARNED!!!!

Love Michaels I can spend hours and hours here. They have everything you need for your quick DIY projects and their decor for the holidays are simply amazing. The only downside of the store is even thought the employees are so sweet and helpful at times they seem overwhelmed. I feel the store definitely needs to double up on the staff. Other than that I love Michaels and I enjoy spending time coming up with new ideas!

Great place to stock up on art supplies.

Creating gifts versus going to a mall and buying gifts will always be the best in my eyes. With that said, I am a regular customer of Michael's. I choose this location because it is closest to my houses but let me say this is not the best one. This Michaels is always too packed and they dont have a full stock of their items. That can be very frustating as well since I might need a specific item that they dont even carry. I wish they either stepped their game up or there would be another craft store closer to West Kendall than this one.

I love to scrap book and I always come here to get all my supplies. They always have everything to make my scrap book a perfect touch. =] The employees there are so courteous, and helpful. They also have a great framing section! The only downside is that they usually only have one to two registers open, regardless of the number of people in line.

This location is an embarrassment to the Michaels chain. It is so dirty I feel like I need a bath after I leave. It is disorganized with most of the items thrown about making it a hazard to try even walk down the aisles. The icing on the cake is that they will have about 10 employees up front but only one actually checking out customers, the other nine are trying to look busy to avoid having to actually do their job. Avoid this location at all costs and make the drive to the homestead location.

I've gotten into crafts lately and as soon as I walk into Michael's I feel a rush of ideas and all the possibilities that I can make for my home. They have so many things I can't begin to name everything. The price can sometimes be a little expensive but the quality of the items they carry are top notch. I feel as if I go once I can become an addict to all the neat things they offer. The service has always been friendly every time I go there which is nice during this hectic holiday season they don't just shove you off and lead you to the wrong direction. I can't wait for my next project so I have an excuse to go back again.

This is a great michaels store. Not the biggest but still pretty decent. The staff is knowledgeable in what they sell. Centrally located so it's convenient. Great place.
