Very unique experience with excellent food. The veggie soup and geese toast were a highlight. The cows were also fun to see.

GSTAAD : I had read about this place as a popular place in Gstaad. So I made a reservation for us online. I received a confirmation email in a couple of hours 👌. On the day, we reached this restaurant almost 45 minutes before time and I was a bit worried that we may have to wait for our time. However, the people are extremely friendly and very accommodating and gave us a table immediately. Thank you 😊. The ambience is really pretty - wooden tables, comfortable chairs, a view of the road on one side and cows in their manger (with a glass separation) on the other. We ordered the dried meat platter - which was absolutely terrific meat ! Our server was amongst the friendliest I’ve ever come across and she suggested the portions that would best suffice for us, without any wastage. That was very helpful and we added a goulash and a cheese+bacon grilled sandwich to our order. Both these were delicious 😋 and just right in quantity. As mentioned before, service was top notch and I would definitely look for an opportunity to come back here 👍🏼.

Came from Black Forest for a birthday weekend and another visit. A unique way to have a very tasty dinner and see the workforce...the best looked after coo's are just the other side of the window from your table. The fondue with spices, dried meat and beer was very tasty and a good white wine and local beer topped everything off. The lady (probably the farmers wife..), looking after us was very nice and helpful too and spent a little time chatting about the whole process. If you're looking for a dinner in a restaurant atmosphere this might not be for you. However, for a dinner made from all the right local ingredients in a simple and non fussy setting then this may be it! Recommended and see you again in a year! Thanks!

Amazing place. Amazing food. Amazing staff. Cheese fondue is the best in Gstaad. Stop by if you have a chance! You will eat seeing the cows. Is just an amazing experience! Worth all the time.

Fabulous authentic place. A relief in gstaad. Of course the view of the cows make the whole difference. Big improvement on menu. It’s now great!!!!! Was good before but more limited. Bravo to the team!!!

Drink something or eat a Fondue next to the cows. Once you get used to the smell of the cows, it's a great experience that you won't forget.
