Michlifen Hotel is a very good property overall, with a lot to appreciate in terms of comfort and atmosphere, but at times it doesn’t fully deliver on the 5-star service you would expect from such a place. The breakfast was really good, and the food at dinner was also very well prepared and enjoyable. The rooms, however, are a bit on the small side compared to other luxury hotels in the region.
The Hammam was absolutely incredible and easily one of the highlights of my stay. On the other hand, I was quite disappointed to find that the sauna and steam room are not access-free. Instead, there’s a 100 MAD charge per person for just 30 minutes, which feels out of place for a 5-star property. The staff explained it was to prevent overuse, but since the hotel was nearly empty during my visit, it didn’t make sense—especially as no complimentary access was offered after I voiced my frustration.
Overall, it’s a beautiful hotel with excellent dining, a top-notch Hammam, and good service, but small rooms and a few missing details prevent it from being the flawless 5-star experience it could be.
