Michlifen Resort & Golf | Ifrane - Maroc

My stay at Michlifen Resort was exceptional. The hotel combines luxury, comfort, and elegance in a stunning setting. The staff were attentive and professional, and the atmosphere was peaceful and refined. A truly memorable experience that I would highly recommend

Spectacular!! Must see it to believe it. We came for coffee and dessert in the lobby restaurant and explored the property, which was decorated for Halloween, and completely adorable. Do not miss this Oasis!!

My partner and I came here with friends for a golfing and leisure holiday. We had a wonderful time at the hotel. It is an extraordinary hotel in many ways. It is set in a lush green area of Ifrane, and is surrounded by nature reserves and parks. The look of the hotel is that of a grand Swiss lodge and inside it's sumptuous, charming and spacious. The dark leather furniture everywhere and wood panelling gives the hotel a warm and welcoming feel. We found our room more than adequate and it was great to have a huge comfortable bed. We slept very well throughout our stay. The staff were great and a special mention for Noureddine at reception who was very helpful throughout our stay. Occasionally, there were communication issues with one or two members of staff, possibly from a lack of training, but this did not detract from our overall enjoyment of the hotel. We ate in both main restaurants and the food was good, as was the breakfast. We also played golf during our stay at the Michlifen golf course, which was just a short shuttle bus drive away, (the shuttle bus was laid on by the hotel). The facilites and the course, designed by Jack Nicklaus, were excellent. An added bonus was the good weather, which was gloriously sunny virtually every day with temperatures around 24 to 26 degrees Celsius. We also got the chance to visit Fez for the day and we went on a tour of the Ifrane National Park. All in all, we had a fabulous time and are planning to come back in September. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Great stay, love it. One comment I didn't feel comfortable when the check in lady asks me and my wife for ID and Marriage certificate. Asking for only the IDs would be nicer, IDs have the same addresses on them, also we could be foreigners. It is a Small sensitive situation asking for Marriage certificate from first look that could be handled differently. Other than that all is great, we enjoyed our time there.

Michlifen Hotel is a very good property overall, with a lot to appreciate in terms of comfort and atmosphere, but at times it doesn’t fully deliver on the 5-star service you would expect from such a place. The breakfast was really good, and the food at dinner was also very well prepared and enjoyable. The rooms, however, are a bit on the small side compared to other luxury hotels in the region. The Hammam was absolutely incredible and easily one of the highlights of my stay. On the other hand, I was quite disappointed to find that the sauna and steam room are not access-free. Instead, there’s a 100 MAD charge per person for just 30 minutes, which feels out of place for a 5-star property. The staff explained it was to prevent overuse, but since the hotel was nearly empty during my visit, it didn’t make sense—especially as no complimentary access was offered after I voiced my frustration. Overall, it’s a beautiful hotel with excellent dining, a top-notch Hammam, and good service, but small rooms and a few missing details prevent it from being the flawless 5-star experience it could be.

Once in your life you get to spoil yourself and this was one of those times. The service and staff were wonderful and the breakfast and dinner were magnificent. The rooms were top shelf in every aspect ❤️

Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was unpleasant and highly unprofessional. Three staff members treated us with obvious rudeness and demanded immediate payment right after we placed our order, in a way that made us feel unwelcome. We were also told not to take photos without any clear explanation, even though we weren’t disturbing anyone. Worst of all, one of the waiters took a tip without our permission, which is completely disrespectful and unacceptable. The overall behavior fell far below any basic standards of hospitality or respect. I sincerely hope hotel management addresses the staff’s attitude and improves the level of service.” Thank you 👎

“Disappointed by the Service at Michlifen Hotel” While Michlifen Hotel is undeniably beautiful and set in a breathtaking location, my overall experience was unfortunately disappointing. What could have been a wonderful stay was marred by the behavior of certain staff members. In particular, one employee at the pool area acted unprofessionally, and a young man from the service team was noticeably rude and disrespectful. This kind of treatment was unexpected and took away from what should have been a relaxing and enjoyable visit. I had high hopes for this hotel, especially given its stunning setting, but the level of service did not meet expectations. I truly hope the management takes guest feedback seriously and works on improving staff conduct—this exceptional location deserves a hospitality experience to match Thank you
