Disneyland Reopened Mickey's Toontown After a Major Refresh — Here's What It's Like

"I had long wondered when Toontown (which has welcomed visitors since 1993) would get a refresh, and after its early-2022 reimagining and reopening for Walt Disney Company's 100th anniversary it feels transformed: the land is now aglow with new play areas, grassy spaces, Insta-worthy snacks and a clear centerpiece attraction, making it an experience worth spending hours in rather than just a quick stop for little kids." - Chelsee Lowe Chelsee Lowe Chelsee Lowe is a Los Angeles-based writer with an obsession with good eats and interesting stories. Visited here pre Christmas. Kids loved it, although it was a bit crowded. Off peak hours (eg early morning works better).

Graham T.

Google
Definitely the most kid friendly part of the park, which lets face it is more for adults than children most days. Here you can see mickeys house or visit some of the old style characters like Chip n Dale, Goofy, Pluto, Mickey, Minnie, Donald.

I love the revamp they did to this place. There is a lot of stuff for the kiddos to do, but the store they have to shop in is pretty good, too. You also, can't leave without trying a snack from Cafe Daisy.

I am so incredibly happy that they completely renovated and brought so much new life to Toon Town! I remember my parents taking me here this summer that it first opened and so wonderful that are they improved this area in so many ways. Mickey’s runaway railway was a spectacular attraction that I could go on five times and see something different. I also absolutely love all of the open spaces where they could have crammed more carts and stores. Great job, Disney!

Toontown in Disneyland is a fun, family-friendly area that has recently undergone a remodel, making it even more vibrant and enjoyable. It’s a popular spot, so expect it to be busy and bustling with visitors. The new and improved area is perfect for young children, offering ample space to run around and enjoy the whimsical, cartoon-like surroundings. The restrooms in Toontown are convenient for families, making it easy to spend extended periods of time in the area. However, be aware that Toontown does temporarily close at night for the fireworks show, so plan your visit accordingly. Despite the crowds and temporary closures, Toontown is definitely worth a visit, offering a unique and exciting experience for guests of all ages.

Fantastic for the younger family. It is so much fun. Very family-friendly and has recently undergone a remodel. It is very popular so expect it to be busy.

Mickey's Toontown inside of Disneyland, is a magical place. Toontown is less crowded a long wait to see Mickey Mouse, but that's to be expected. As a child I never got to visit Magic Kingdom. let along Disneyland and Mickey Toontown. Growing up I made a promise to myself that I would get to "Walt Disney World", Magic Kingdom, and I did. My first visit was around 1986, I took my daughter and my son. My daughter then 9 years old and my son 3 years old. I've been going back ever since year after year after year. I love Magic Kingdom, Disneyland and everything Disney. I've been blessed to make it over to "Disneyland Paris" and can't wait to get to Tokyo Disneyland. Each is magical in its own way. I'm a fan of the Mouse. My children and I still travel to the Magic Kingdom at least every other year. If you're feel stressed or need a pick me up, Walt Disney World, Disneyland is the place to go and just be a kid again, Walt Disney World is truly something for everyone, So, "don't ever grow up its a trap" ((giggle)).

So cute and colorful. I had so much fun meeting Pluto, Mickey and Clarabelle ❤️ I can't wait to meet the others.

Yelp
Having visited Toontown for decades it nice to see how it's been reimagined and updated with the times while still keeping it's original integrity to respect it's history. The space is well thought out and very colorful. Several eateries, a post office and an open space for kids to roam. Specifically catered to the toddlers, the smaller rides are just enough of fun to keep the kids smiling. Located near the back of the resort, it's ideal for families with young children. With several designated stroller parking areas, it's well kept and organized. The roller coaster and railway are the best attractions in this end. Wait times are short which makes these rides worth visiting. I'll be back for sure as my kids are younger and are now finally able to move around on their own. Thanks Disney for keeping this place simple.

Yelp
I'm going to be straightforward. I don't like Toontown. It's my least favorite part of Disneyland. I get that this is an area that is built for kids. And their revamp of it a few years ago really upped that aspect. And the new Mickey ride is enjoyable. But, it's the location of the area that is the downfall of it in my opinion. It is shoved in the back of the park almost like an afterthought. It also only has one in and out so it is a nightmare to navigate. It's just a constant see of people with massive strollers, kids running around, waiting for food/the restrooms, whatever. If you're a kid, this place is great. But as an adult/parent, it's just a frustration point. I really think all they need is to add another entrance/exit point. Maybe find a way to put one in on the back by Gadget Coaster or something that dumps you out by the now unused outdoor stage area. Anything to help let the foot traffic flow. Disneyland is so good at that until you come to this land. It's really surprising to me. I will say that the atmosphere here today is really well done. It does feel like you're walking through the world of Mickey. A+ for theming. If you're able to come here when it's not crowded, it's really nice to check out. Especially at night. However, I feel like most of the time you'll be walking through this area spending more time trying to make sure you don't get hit by a stroller or something else than being able to look around and take everything in.

Yelp
Mickey's Toontown is located in Disneyland. My husband and I finally had a chance to see the reimagined Mickey's Toontown during our latest visit at Disneyland for the Halloween half marathon! There are a lot of rides and activities in ToonTown. You can get to ToonTown from Fantasyland, next to the It's a Small World Ride, or you can take the train ride up to ToonTown! The rides at Mickey's Toontown includes the following My favorite - Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway: You get to jump on a runaway train with Goofy, Mickey, and Minnie. There is a pre-show before the ride! Lightning lane is included for this ride. Chip 'N' Dale's GADGETcoaster: Small rollercoaster located in Toontown. Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin: You'll go on an adventure with Roger Rabbit. It's a dark ride, where you can spin your ride 360! It's a lot of fun! Lightning lane is included. There are plenty of play areas in Toontown! Mickey's House and Meet Mickey: You can do a self-guided tour of Mickey Mouses' house. Minnie's House: Another self-guided tour of Minnie's house. Donald's Duck Pond: Splash pad area!!! Goofy's How-To-Play Yard: Outside playground area! Disney did an amazing job redesigning Mickey's Toontown! There are plenty of places to eat at such as Café Daisy and Good Boy! Grocers. Only one shop is inside Mickey's Toontown which is EnginEAR Souvenirs. After riding the Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway, you'll get dropped off into EnginEAR Souvenirs. The store offers a wide range of apparel and toys! My family and I always have a great time at ToonTown! It also has one of my favorite rides, Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway!

Yelp
One of our best memories is when we came here the first time with our kids! Slides and characters - the kids loved it and they have ever since! We are here to see Mickey again today! What a great spot for littles and big that are still little at heart!

Yelp
This goofy little town at Disneyland makes you feel like you are in a cartoon. Even though it is mostly geared toward kids, adults can find some fun here too. Mickey's Toontown is inspired by the "Toontown" that was featured in the "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" movie. In the movie, Bob Hoskins' character enters Toontown and interacts with several cartoon characters. Here at Mickey's Toontown, you can do the same. Mickey and Minnie both have cartoonish style homes that you can enter and have a meet and greet with them. There are also places for Donald and Goofy that are fun and interactive. Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin and Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway are the main rides inside of Mickey's Toontown. There is also a small roller coaster for kids. This is a fun place for parents to take a break and let the kids run around and have some fun. There are a number of places to grab lunch or a snack if you are hungry. If you need to travel to another part of Disneyland park, the Disneyland Railroad has a station nearby.

Yelp
ToonTown has always been my favorite part of the park to visit, no matter which location I am in. I like the connection I have with the characters and how everything is always cartoonish. It gives me an escape with a connection, even if it isn't real. I'm not sure how they do it, but they make it seem so real and integrated. Like you may have actually stepped into a world where toons interact with humans, along the lines of Who Framed Roger Rabbit. The one thing that I like to do in this area is explore. Some of the bright colors may have faded, but the fun is still there. Going through Mickey and Minnie's homes was especially a highlight of this area. I loved the imagery of the rooms. From a telephone simple sitting there to the washing machine left on a cycle. Only downside here, was the meet an greet areas. It felt like this was a chock hold point. A place where, if you have the time, is a place to waste the time. Totally not a thing for me. In fact, I don't think I interacted with a character outside of them walking through the park to or from their posts.

Yelp
Pretty cool place I like Mickey Mouse and visting him pretty cool place to meet and see their houses

Yelp
In 2023, Mickey's ToonTown opened after a long refurbishment to completely redo the overall look of the land. Adding one of the most beloved new attractions - Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway (eligible for Genie+). This land is very geared towards kids, but still great for adults as the attractions are a must on your next Disneyland trip!

Yelp
If my one-year-old could talk, I think he'd say Mickey's ToonTown was his favorite part of Disneyland. If he wanted to get more specific, he might name a particular set of short steps between the ground level and Goofy's Playhouse, where he spent quite a lot of time climbing up and down, getting his hands all over what could not have been a very clean banister. We have yet to explore all that ToonTown has to offer, but I appreciate its function as a hassle-free park within Disneyland, a valuable resource if you're visiting with small children. I remember enjoying the exaggerated aesthetic when I was little, and it looks better than ever after a major renovation. I'm sure it's a great place to take pictures if your kids will stand still and pose. Ours are small and squirmy, so we're just happy to have a safe enclosed area where they can run around, enjoying a squeaky bridge or colorful funhouse, looking cute as they roll through a series of cartoony installations. I'm sure we'll take advantage of the character encounters and other attractions as they grow older, but for now, I like that ToonTown is a place where you can kind of hang out and not do much at all.
google avatar

Elyse F.

Yelp
Remember ToonTown from Who Framed Rodger Rabbit? Well, ToonTown can be found right here in Disneyland. ToonTown is all things bright, bubbly and silly. ToonTown has had some changes since it originally opened. While the Roger Rabbit's Cartoon Spin ride is still there, ToonTown is really more the home of Mickey and Friends. Both Mickey and Minnie's homes may be found here. ToonTown is all child friendly attractions. One of their newest rides is Mickey's Runaway Railway. There is a kid's roller-coaster. There is a play structure. ToonTown is filled with fun building that makes for cute photos for kids and kids at heart. The store in ToonTown has lots of Mickey and Friends merchandise. Quick service food options are available. There is a water bottle filling station near the bathrooms.
google avatar

Joann V.

Yelp
4 stars The new ToonTown definitely looks new and just as cute as I remember it being. However, it is extremely crowded. So, so, so many kids and parents. The "park" is filled with strollers. And I don't stay long because it does seem more for toddlers and young kids. And I just feel like I'm taking up their space. One of the best things I've seen while I was there were all the characters that were in ToonTown. I saw Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pluto, Chip & Dale, and Pete. They were all out at the same time on a Saturday afternoon. It's nice to get a glimpse of all the characters catering to the crowd. Highly recommend to those with kids, but would warn that there occasional impatient parents and that mobile orders for Cafe Daisy can get a backed up.

Yelp
I didn't get to spend as much time in Mickey's Toontown as I would have wanted but was there to get a good look at part of it and of course ride Mickey and Minnie's runaway railway-(reviewed separately). The Disneyland RR stops here along with a ride for Roger Rabbit and it is a charming area designed for children with an adorable Mickey and Minnie fountain right in the town square. This is definitely the children's area of the park and families can spend a good deal of time here with their little ones. There's a popcorn store, Minnie's house, Donald's boat, and Goofy's playhouse to name a few. The place is extemely sunny and not too much shade there. Even Walt Disney gets a place of honor as you leave Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railroad. If you are not with small kids I'd advise you the visit the featured ride and then leave. Still is it a delightful place that brings out the child in you.
google avatar

Cimarron K.

Yelp
Such a fun place to go with kids. You really feel like your in a cartoon tv show. Fun for all. The new food options here are far better than before.
google avatar

Deanne R.

Yelp
Finally was able to visit ( find an excuse to come lol, for my son's bday) of course only came to toon town for this ride. Otherwise way too busy for me.... But very fun for people with smaller children, this would be a blast. My goodness the ride in my opinion was excellent soo fun. FYI: super long lines, highly recommend the genie pass for this one.
google avatar

Nick P.

Yelp
Recently visited the newly remodeled ToonTown! It was insanely packed, even for a Thursday evening. There were a lot of kids running around and just having a great time. We love the addition of the fountain and the ambiance of ToonTown. You truly feel like a kid all over again. We really enjoyed Mickey's house and Goofy's house. Their houses were especially interactive and just great for all ages. We're just happy to see ToonTown thriving with all of the new additions and can't wait to come back again to take photos with Mickey and his friends!
google avatar

Britney M.

Yelp
As an adult, I don't visit Mickey's ToonTown that much- just to be candid. I did, however, enjoy Mickey's ToonTown as a kid and teenager. It was lots of fun to walk around and pretend to be in jail hahahaha I do appreciate the many photo opportunities that Mickey's ToonTown offers. The Rogert Rabbit ride is fun. I mean, it's a "kid ride" so don't expect it to knock your socks off or anything. You will be spun around a lot, so probably best not to eat or drink (especially alcohol) right before lol Or do it and see what happens lol You may just have a stronger stomach. The only reason I would visit Mickey's ToonTown again is for nostalgic reasons. But if I had kids of my own, I'm sure I would take them to this area. Also a perk, you will see Goofy and Mickey walking around here if you are lucky! :)
google avatar

Emil C.

Yelp
This area of Disneyland is definitely geared more towards the younger park visitor. I used to occasionally visit this area for the Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin ride, but I recently returned to check out the west coast version of Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway ride. Everything is very cartoony here which sets it apart from the other lands within Disneyland. So if you've brought the little ones, be sure to check it out!
google avatar

Tamara T.

Yelp
ToonTown is a smaller area that's great for kids to run around and parents to relax and sit down. It's located towards the back of the park past Small World and to the left. You can also access Toon Town via train since there is a stop there. I would say Toon Town is great for photo ops and reliving your Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Donald, Daisy cartoon dream. There are a few rides but it's along the lines of Storybook land in that they're short and not really full of thrills. It can get crowded but it doesn't seem to be as much traffic as Adventureland, Fronteirland, Tomorrowland and Galaxy's Edge.
google avatar

Nancy M.

Yelp
You just really have to love ToonTown! It's delightful for everyone. Now I do wish there were more shady spots for us old folks to sit in while the kiddos romp but otherwise ToonTown is pure perfection!
google avatar

Lincoln B.

Yelp
Beautiful fantastic job and the other hand in hand in hand in a different kind to be the same way as a child support for the movie is the movie is the only thing you can call me when I get to be the best way to be the use the bathroom and a half hour and a few years
google avatar

Meg T.

Yelp
I honestly spend very little time in ToonTown beyond making a round if I'm pin trading or taking photos. It's adorable and cute, but was designed with much smaller crowds in mind, so it's enjoyed much more for the artistic value if the area is less busy. I personally think it needs a re-vamp. There's a lot of space here devoted to photos and characters and I think ToonTown would become more popular with a few rides or stores added in. It would also likely take some of the pressure off the more interesting/busier areas like Tomorrowland and Main Street. All in all not a bad stop, but is mostly intended for those age 10 and under.
google avatar

Nicole V.

Yelp
ToonTown is the little forgotten land of Disneyland. Well maybe not as much as Critter Country, but toontown is severely underrated. Maybe because it is all the way at the back of the park and barely has any big kid/adult rides. However, it is a great photo spot with all the characters' houses (mickey, minnie, goofy, and donald's boat). You can go through the houses and explore and at the end of Mickey's house, you can meet the big mouse himself. There are also great photo opportunities by the Firehouse, Post office, gym and a jail where you can get some great pictures. There are also a few other attractions in toontown: one is Roger Rabbit's car toon spin (which has fast pass available), the small kiddie roller coaster, and Chip and Dale's treehouse which is a small climb up and then there is a staircase down. I love exploring ToonTown especially at Christmas when they have the Christmas decorations up. Be sure to come early because then do close Toontown early to set up for the fireworks show!
google avatar

Matt F.

Yelp
Nice layout in Disneyland. Went here more than once and kept forgetting to write an official review. This is a kiddie area in the Disneyland portion of the park. Modeled largely after some old classic cartoons and the Who Framed Roger Rabbit movie, the layout is very nice and most will enjoy it, especially the kids. Plenty of areas to take pictures for sure. There are several areas for character meet and greets and there are a few rides, including the Roger Rabbit Ride and the Gadget Coaster. A lot of areas are interactive for the children and there's plenty of things to see. Toontown does close a little earlier than the rest of the park, so be advised. Worth it for sure even to just walk around.
google avatar

Patricia S.

Yelp
Been a couple of times. Came here with my mom on our last trip before it closed. Got to see a couple of the characters. Can't wait until the next trip here when it opens again and getting to ride Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Train.
google avatar

Angie M.

Yelp
Oh ToonTown how I love you! You have Mickeys House, Minnies, House, Goofy... Chip and Dale... so much fun! There are some cute little fun rides over here as well, but there are SO many photo opportunities. Im not sure if people realize that. The Roger Rabbit ride is cool - but I like to go alone so no one spins me, lol If you take your time and walk around and look at everything you can really get some cute and fun pictures with your kids, or just as an adult. ToonTown opens an hour after the park, and if you go right as they open, its generally not crowded and you can click that camera away to your hearts content! And the wait is usually around 10 minutes for Minnies House and Mickeys House, which is incredibly amazing! Chip and Dales Treehouse is definitely for children. You walk up some narrow steps and back down. I did it once, and that was enough for a lifetime, haha! Im sure kids love it!
google avatar

Rick S.

Yelp
This is a fun part of Disneyland and the kids love it. Roger rabbit is so much fun. There are a few places to eat here along with a gift shop. You can meet Mickey here too and explore he's house and Mimmie's too. Your kids will love this part of Disneyland.
google avatar

Ryan M.

Yelp
Love the area. It's got a a cartoon Hollywood feel to it. Lots of places to sit and rest, as far as the other lands/areas in the park. Gadget's and Roger Rabbit's rides are here, and these alone are worthwhile and make this area fun. It is a bit more kiddie, but I still feel giving it a walkthrough. It's memorable.
google avatar

Ann T.

Yelp
There's 2 ride attractions here: Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin and the small coaster to the side. However, this area is PERFECT for meeting the characters! You just have to go to where their houses are and ask a cast member if they're there/look to see if there is a line to meet them. Pluto wanders around Toon Town. It's really cute because you see them interacting with guests and playing around the area. Everywhere else is pretty interactive and great for photos. It's more of a photo opportunity place.
google avatar

Denise W.

Yelp
Sister wanted to raid Mickey's and Minnie's house. Well they sure invited us or everyone in. We were pretty lucky. Mickey's house no line up and Minnie's house super long. But definitely worth the wait. Its always fun to walk in here. This is my 3rd time visiting here. Still quite fun. Lots of picture taking. Or should I say this is the place to take picture with your favorite characters. Goofy was standing outside for pictures taking as well but we didn't want to wait in line. We did wave at Goofy and he waved back.
google avatar

Kev H.

Yelp
Kids probably would like this much more than I did. To me it was fun to see lots of old time cartoon characters' houses and stores in this "town" but that was it. Unless of course you were a kid, then you'd be extra excited lining up for hours just to take pictures with random strangers in thick costumes probably sweating like crazy inside. They also had some food you can buy here, for example Clarabelle's ice cream, and some fun rides such as the Roger Rabbit one.
google avatar

Craig Y.

Yelp
Haven't been to this area in a long time mostly due to I usually go at night and ToonTown usually closes early. This area is pretty fun there are things to see and little interactive stuff as well. There are rides as well there's a mini roller coaster which isn't so mini it's got some pep to it and Roger Rabbits Ride is fun too. They have food too here as well. Overall if you visit Disneyland for the first time I recommend checking it out before night time at least once especially if you have little ones.
google avatar

Raymond L.

Yelp
Mickey's Toontown, located in the back of Disneyland, has a few rides and a lot of things that'll make the kiddies happy. They have one mini roller coaster that kids can ride so that they'll be able to say "I rode a roller coaster" and get ready for the more intense coasters. They have the Roger Rabbit spinathon ride where you can make your friends and you dizzy :P They also have the Chip and Dale Treehouse where kids can run around and look at their parents and say "HI" They can go through Donald's Boat, Goofy's house. They can also meet Mickey and Minnie in their respective houses (their lines are longg). They can look up at their idols and enjoy the picture that they have with them and be like "I met {Mickey; Minnie}!" And their smiles will roam free. And it's at no additional cost (hurhur) They can hear sounds and make things explode and listen to boxes and see what sounds each box makes! :3 It's a fun place for the kids, and the parents can take a moment and relax for a moment knowing their kids are enjoying themselves in the tree or the house :3 Or you can be 21 years old and try and get through everything BHAHA. Shhhh none of you see this review xD
google avatar

Shalini G.

Yelp
Always a fan of Mickey's ToonTown...especially on crowded Disney days! there's enough for the kids to do here...that doesn't require standing in a line... enjoy yourself and play here! there is goofy's house (for kids 3-5), donald's boat, minnie's house, mickey's house, the gag factory...and chip and dale's tree house. and no lines!! if you want to see and meet mickey at the end of his house "tour" ..well then you need to stand in a line (while watching cartoons!)...but we generally bypass it unless the line is super short. as far as rides...you have roger rabbit and go go gadget coaster (if that's still the name?)...its a coaster for tiny tots... variety of quick service food options... one store to shop in but tons to see!!! enjoy
google avatar

Mirna E.

Yelp
Cute place for kids. Not much of any rides. My daughter was too short to ride the small roller coaster and the wait for Rodger Rabbit was too long. They have cute Disney character homes to visit which can be fun for kids and a good opportunity for pictures. Some of the buildings have neat sound effects. Be aware Toon Town closes earlier than the rest of the park, plan accordingly so your kids don't miss out on the fun!
google avatar

Yonnie C.

Yelp
I don't have any vivid memories of Toon Town in all my Disneyland visits, so I'm thinking I never really ventured into this land in the past. Today we finally made it to Toon Town, with a purposeful visit to see what this town has in store. It's only open 10am to 8:30pm everyday, not sure why other than it's full of toddlers and younger kids. We visited Mickey in his house, saw Minnie in her house, and also took photos with Goofy outside of his house. Wow, got those pictures all within the same area! Saw Pluto walking around too. Visited Donald's boat, Chip & Dale Treehouse and enjoyed our time there. We plan to go explore this town some more in the future! :)
google avatar

Michelle O.

Yelp
I love Toontown, but I wish there were more rides and shops there. Below are the attraction within Toontown. Chip 'n Dale Treehouse. Disneyland Railroad. Donald's Boat. Gadget's Go Coaster. Goofy's Playhouse. Mickey's House and Meet Mickey. Minnie's House. Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin. Toontown is very colorful and cartoonish. I love it. There are several good photo spots as well.
google avatar

Jennifer L.

Yelp
I think I would like it better if I had little kids with me. However, my boyfriend who hates children and is not a kid at heart went inexplicably crazy here, and all I could do was stare at him. He wanted to take me into Mickey's house, Minnie's house, look at Donald's ship, go on the Roger Rabbit cartoon spin ride, admire the fountain, you get the picture. He was bent on meeting Mickey and Minnie, too, but we were too close to closing. Our friends had gone earlier in the day and got photos with them. If a 32-year-old childless grump can get himself to enjoy this, imagine how much your kids will enjoy! It's cute and charming and you can see why Mickey and Co. eat, sleep, and live there.
google avatar

Tamara P.

Yelp
This is a cute area within the Disneyland Park, but I personally would like to see at least another ride added to the area as well as more seating for their little food court area. Many times my family and I don't trek all the way to this end of the park just for the Roger Rabbit ride (my daughter doesn't meet the height requirement for the mini roller coaster) or to stand in line to see characters. On our last trip a few weeks back I brought my daughter to Goofy's playground and purchased an apple slushy at the booth right out front. Sadly that was the worst slush I had ever tasted. It had a strong horrible chemical after taste to every sip, so we had to toss it eventually. My daughter normally loves any type of slush or smoothie type of drink as a treat, but wanted nothing to do with this drink after a few sips. =(

Yelp
The man selling ice cream bars in Toon Town was quite rude. I asked him if the Haagen Dazs bar on the menu was the same as the Mickey ears ice cream. At first, he literally stared at me for three seconds and looked at me like I asked the dumbest question. He replied, "Haagen Dazs is Haagen Dazs. Mickey is Mickey." I said, "Haagen Dazs could've collaborated with Disney to make Mickey ice cream." He then says, "Coke is Coke. Pepsi is Pepsi." Disney can partner with either of them or with Haagen Dazs if they wanted to. Now he says, "the Mickey ears are Nestle." Okay, so he pointed out the branding partnership that I asked him about in the first place. Not only did he not welcome any customers to the stand, he also did not wish anyone a magical day. Disney is not the place for him to work.

Yelp
I hardly ever spend time in ToonTown as it is for much younger kids but there is a lot to love in this place. I mean after all this IS where Mickey + Minnies houses are located. My favorite ride (there are literally only 2 rides here) is Roger Rabbit but wait time can be ridiculous (get a fast pass). They also have a super mini rollercoaster (perfect for small kiddos). There are several benches to sit and small food vendors (ex: ice cream). There is also a store to purchase various merchandise items. ToonTown is definitely cartoonish + there are several photo opportunities. This part of the park does close early compared to other areas of the park so take that into consideration. There is usually a sign as you walk in to ToonTown notifying you what time they will be closing.

Yelp
Cute but its stroller city. I would say only come here if you just want to walk around or see all the cute houses. Also, if you really need a picture with Mickey, Minnie, Pluto etc. however, remember these characters are also sometimes not in toon town. Check the Disneyland app to see all the characters in your vicinity. I wouldn't touch everything here without immediately washing your hands or sanitizing them. This place is also great for pictures in cars and looking like your pulling metal bars open. Overall, it's a nice place to visit but not necessary for a Disney day.

Yelp
Yay its toon town. Its a place for the rugrats err super lil munchkin crumb crunchers. Lots of lil ones are chillen here. I was hoping that Jessica Rabbit hopped out of the shadows and drug me off somewhere to a random 50s bar with a few random PIs... None the less they have a bunch of the toon town themed rides that are perfect for the lil tator tots that like this stuff. These are pretty gentle rides. That is perfect for the kids. There are also a lot of interactive themed items like telephones with big buttons and things to stand or jump on. A lot of this area is modeled after Toon Town from who framed Roger Rabbit where all of the toons live. There is also a cartoon about toon town that fits right in with the theme here as well. Consequently its a fun pretty clean place at the far end of disneyland for all the lil ones to have fun in a safe kind of environment.

Yelp
Picture Location Galore! ToonTown is only open until close to sunset so plan your trip accordingly. If you like taking pictures and be a part of Toon Life, this place is a must. As entering ToonTown, the cool colorful town is filled with fun and explorative gadgets. Open mailboxes, open doors, push and pull and pick up fun neat experiences. House of Mouse is located in ToonTown and you can visit their pad. Mickey and friends are often there to take pictures. There is a vendor stand that serves Apple Flavor Icee that I absolutely love. There are other places that serve Apple Icee however, they taste different and too sweet because they add extra something. So, get your Apple Icee here! Would recommend taking lots of pictures. Worth the memories.

Yelp
I love Mickey toon town! So colorful and lively! The only thing about toon town is that it closes earlier than the rest of the park. I like the walk through Mickey and Minnie's house and then you get to meet them at the end for photos! The roller coaster is a lot of fun but the wait is long because there's only one cart! It's a fun town

Yelp
Mickey's ToonTown in Disneyland is in the back from Fantasyland. There is a lot of stuff to interact with here, if one is younger. The appearance of the area is similar to what one would find in the ToonTown portrayed in Who Framed Roger Rabbit and there are some interactive environmental objects that behave in similar manners. Being the tour guide, I was entirely bored out of my head while waiting for members of my party to complete the meet-and-greet locations (the fact that there was no stroller parking in the area meant I had to hold onto it until they exited and I couldn't get on any rides.) There were some PokéStops to collect from in the area, at least. A sign at the front of the location said this area would close at 8:30 PM. The entrance seemed to have aged since the population meter wasn't running smoothly, not like a long time ago.

Yelp
This is such a cute area and would make any little one a very happy little one. They did a great job to ensure one would feel like they are really in toon town and the characters were there for little ones to meet and get their picture taken with. The lines for the characters weren't too long either. The rides there were cute and very simple for little ones. This is a great place to come if you have a young child with you and there is enough there that you can keep them happy for a long while.

Yelp
Finally came to Toon Town after 2 years with my pass. Same stuff as I remembered. Had to see it before it shuts down. Dog pound is fun to take pictures at. Coast and Rodger Rabbit are the highlights.

Yelp
This is wear the Disney Characters live! It's a cartoonish version. The houses have rounded edges and the furnitures are big. Goofy' house is what you would call "Goofy" with a crooked shape. Donald Duck 'a ship is next to a roller coaster and waterfall. Micky and Minnie's house is similar. Why do they live separately? I thought they were married! Hmmm! The Roger Rabbit ride is also located here. They have very cute buildings for Banks, Gym, City Hall, Auto Repair, Gas Station and etc. Gotta check it out!!
