Micra Anglia Hotel - Andros

We stayed here for 6 nights as the last stop on our Island hopping adventure in the Cyclades. This is a very different hotel to those we had used on our previous stops and was very much targeted to those people that want the boutique hotel experience. ||We had a top floor room (501) with sea view in the annexe across the road from the main building. The room was very comfortable with clean linens and towels provided daily if required. The room was cleaned daily and was spotless along with all the public areas around the hotel.||Breakfast was provided in the main building across the road and was excellent with plenty of choice available to even the most discerning appetite. ||The hotel is located just off the main street in Chora with plenty of tavernas and restaurants available for evening meals or shopping. There are a couple of beaches within a couple of minutes walk (both downhill going there) and beach towels are supplied by the hotel if required. There is also a small plunge pool available at the hotel if you prefer.||Thank you to all the staff at the hotel for a wonderful stay and memorable end to our summer 2024 adventure.||No hesitation in recommending this hotel to others.

A Great hotel, very friendly and helpfull stuff- everyone from the recrption, spa, dinning room. The breakfast is good near the perfect pool, and the location is the best in town. This hotel made our vacation with our kids the best it can be. Thank you very much! We will sure come back

One of the best experiences we had in a hotel as a family. |Our suite was very charming, comfortable and clean with two separate rooms each with its own shower and toilet.|Location of the hotel and parking facilities superb.|The staff was absolutely amazing. Extremely friendly and helpful.|The highlight for us was breakfast time: amazing Greek breakfast of big variety and excellent quality, with local additions and varying every day. |The staff was super attentive, they knew what we liked, how we ate our omelettes and they would even get out of their way to prepare something extra for the kids.|We hugged when we left and we told me "Στο επανιδείν" ("See you again") because we will definitely go back!

Well the room, the facilities were as expected the outstanding was their people in service at reception at breakfast and evening. Very well trained, caring. A 5 star service staff! Well done Mikri Anglia.

We had such a great 3 nights in Batsi that we were a little bit reluctant to come to Chora and the Micra Anglia - we shouldn't have been.||First, location - unbeatable. You are literally steps from the phenomenally stunning main street of Chora so our kids could come and go and ramble around to their hearts content. There are beaches about 10 mins walk away at either end of the main street and you are also yards from a huge number of lovely bars and restaurants.||Next, accommodation. Stunning. We stayed in the master suite around the corner which had two gorgeous bedrooms, a lovely little private pool, a nice living room, basically top notch and luxurious.||Food - decent. I'd been expecting more from the breakfast given previous reviews but it was fine and service was super friendly. Lunch was delicious and the lady waitress particularly great.||Spa - lovely atmosphere. My massage was great, my wife's was too hard and they messed up her back. ||All in all, this hotel is an absolute gem in probably the most delightful Greek island. We are very keen to return asap.

The Micra Anglia is the perfect place to stay for a visit to Andros. It is just fifty yards from the main street and central square, yet we had no noise at night. The food was excellent and the staff in the restaurant and at reception could not have been more helpful.|Andros is a beautiful place to visit for the able-bodied (there are quite a few steps) with good beaches, a historic town centre, plenty of places to eat, and a lighthouse that looked like it had been designed for a fantasy film. If you are planning to visit the oldest monastery on the island, we would recommend you take a guide as the road is a challenge, but I am sure the hotel could help with that. The hotel also has a small pool and a spa, which I am told by someone who used it was very good. In summary, an excellent place to stay.

I would recommend this amazing hotel for location, beauty, quality and a high level of service from everyone who works there. The team made our trip very special and memorable. The breakfast is the best- many different items to try - all so delicious. ||Our rooms were perfect and clean. ||We were able to get access to areas because of the connections the hotel had. The town is beautiful and very walkable if you can do stairs (lots of stairs in town). We hiked, went to beaches, shopped, had amazing food and visited some beautiful local villages. Like going back to a different time. 100% recommend this hotel.
