Pretty cool place to get your PC parts and other electronics stuff at. They have numerous 3D printers on display and lots of 3D filaments to choose from. Prices are competitive, but you may find better bundle deals online. I'd recommend this place especially if you're into electronics, building a PC, or into 3D printing and/or looking for parts.

Darien also deserves credit. • He helped me pick the best build with no guesswork. • He handled a pre-build and made the setup easy. • He got me an RTX 5090, a top-tier AMD CPU, and Lian Li components throughout. • The final look is clean and premium. I spent about $6,000 and it was worth it. I’m thrilled with the build and the service.

I had an amazing experience at Micro Center thanks to how nice and helpful the employees were. I came in wanting to build my own gaming PC, and they took the time to answer all my questions without rushing or making me feel clueless. They helped me pick the right parts, explained compatibility, and made sure everything fit my budget and goals. You can tell they genuinely care and know what they’re doing. Because of their help, I walked out confident and excited about my build. Highly recommend Micro Center if you’re building a PC or need expert advice. Stopped by to explore the options for Raspberry Pi and was surprised to see the many options and the pricing. Well stocked with all the essential electronics and technology stuff that they carry. The associates are always helpful, walking around and offering their services for customers. Overall, it was a good experience highly recommended this Microcenter location

Went yesterday and picked up two new GPUs and a 1440p monitor. Was helped out by Kevin at online pickups and he was awesome. Great customer service and super friendly attitude. Said he was new but his professionalism said otherwise. Incredible store! And thanks for the 9070xt!

Josh, Connor, and Courtney were all very nice and I absolutely loved how kind and helpful they all were! Everybody was very knowledgeable, has their own opinions on how they use certain parts at home which really helps me understand and break down what I’m trying to buy, and the time they each took to make sure I got the best of what I could get at the store was absolutely amazing. Love micro center!

This store is incredible, I had heard good things but it surpassed expectations. They have a ton of stuff you could never find anywhere else and it’s refreshing to have a staff that know their products. It’s clear from talking to their staff that they are personally interested in the types of things they’re helping you with. Had a guy walk me through all their Raspberry Pi options and I got this pi zero w 2, got home and printed a base to mount it in my rack. On another visit I talked with another sales person about mechanical keyboards and she knew a ton about them, you could tell she geeks out over them. Glad they came to Charlotte.

Not sure his name, but the guy working in the PC monitor section this morning was very helpful, showed my all of my options based on my price point, and printed out a reference sheet to help me make an informed decision on which monitor to buy. Definitely recommend this store

Probably every tech persons dream spot. At least according to my techie son, he could stay in there for hours. We stayed a good hour plus. All of the latest gadgets and gizmos can be found in addition to things you never thought of or realized you needed! This store is huge! Everyone spoke (employees), asked if they could help, and moved on when we said we were just browsing. I LOVE IT WHEN YOU ENCOUNTER "salespersons" WHO HAVE NOT BEEN STRICKEN WITH THE HOVERING SPIRIT!!!!! I'll locate you if I need you, THANK YOU!!! Shout out to MircoCenter Headquarters/Management...you got that ONE critical thing right during employee training !!!!! (Woohoo) If you are in need of a mouse, latest TV, laptop, desktop, or WHATEVER...Micro Center is sure to have you covered.

Today was their 'soft opening' with the Grand Opening slated for 7/7/24. I was a frequent customer to the Micro Center in Fairfax, Va for many years so I was looking forward to the opening of this new Charlotte location. There is nothing like it in the city of CLT so it's a welcome addition for those that are into electronics. I will say right off, parking will be a challenge because it's right next to the Home Depot store. The store is massive with every type of computer, printer, mobile device, gaming device as well as monitors and large TV's. They have a dedicated area for Dell and Apple Computers and also provide service for the same.

if i wanted to be profiled and followed by four associates and also what seemed to be a manager and then the security , then id recommend shopping here, but otherwise id rather just shop online and avoid the hassle.

Extremely excited about this place, been waiting a while for them to open. Location is prime for business. Brand new so the store is still very very clean. A lot of traffic on day two, they just opened yesterday so everyone is excited and here currently. Potential to add great value to this area. All of the staff I encountered were very polite and welcoming. I see nothing but great things to come for this business. Looking forward to the next time I visit!!!

Who doesn't love Micro Center?? When it comes to all things computers this is the jam. The associates are always very helpful. You can tell they've got a wealth of knowledge. Call me old school but I do like to shop for things in person. I like to compare and I like to ask questions. You just don't get the same experience online. Ok boomer...

Ok, I think you need to take the good with the bad. My cyber geek son has been in the store a lot. It has been a good experience until today From being misinformed about the position of the AMS( the thing that holds the filament) I was very specific about being able to move it to the left of the printer I got the yes yes yes of course you can Well guess what.. You can't! Don't push a sale at the expense of the customer It will never end well Patrick.. Yes I am speaking about you. Daniel at the register was pleasant But we had difficulty at the register That made a very simple visit into a cool store unpleasant Just buyer be aware cyber geeks are not completely knowledgeable. Well at least some of them

I know it just happened but store is so clean and the staff is super helpful and knowledgeable. Apparently because they work on commission but still- always someone around to help. We've been back several times already

I've enjoyed my time at this location for months; it's always been a pleasure to browse or shop. I've had nothing but positive experiences with the great customer associates before. Today, I was profiled at the front door by the security guard. I carry a bag with me containing my personal belongings, and I was asked to leave it at the door. This has not happened once during my time as a patron. Sad, this is unfortunately an experience as a PoC in this country.

Products are good there, But this review is about the repair tech service, This service is frankly quite awful I went there to fix A PC that I bought, And I figured it was a prob elm with a motherboard so if they could fix it I would save around 100$ better than buying a new mobo, But than they said they the would need 85$ for repairs that was a bit concerning but I figured I go with it it would save me the hassle of buying a new one, But after 3 days they called me back saying do you want to continue with repairs as the system may need a new mobo and I said no thanks, So I decided to go back and pick up the PC expecting a refund since they literally did no repairs, However they said the diagnostic and checking your system is worth 85$ so I went home and decided to fix the PC myself before making a purchase for another motherboard after a couple hours of browsing in the internet a post of reddit just fixed my problem, Truly I was really disappointed in the tech service, However Microcenter is a leading computer parts store I would recommend just for that but NOT for repairing a PC as I just got fully blown off 85$.

Best Help With Computers! I came to micro center for the first time about a week ago and I can't think of anything bad at all to say! I got help building my PC from Owen and he was very helpful with me being a beginner. I also love the selection of parts and the large prebuilt, build your own, and monitor sections. 5/5

We joke and say this is my husband's target lol. My first time coming here with him today and I had a great experience. The store is very organized and clean. The staff is also very helpful. Price range is also reasonable as you can get stuff cheap and high end here. You can pretty much find whatever you need with electronics. If you wanna build all the pieces are here or if you want something already built it's here. Definitely check it out if you're into electronics.

I could not be more impressed. We got a laptop from here considerably less expensive than it was being sold elsewhere. But what really impressed me was their customer service. We placed the order online and went to pick it up. That process was a breeze and once we were done, the manager personally thanked us for shopping there. I honestly thought when they said the manager wanted to come and thank us that there was going to be some sort of sales pitch....nope, literally just wanted to thank us. Thank goodness we did what we normally don't do and purchased a warranty. After having this computer for just a couple months, our 6-year-old tried to close the laptop with the mouse sitting on the keys. I won't ever leave it there again. Screen broke. We were sick. My husband called to check our warranty and it was covered, thank goodness. The rest of what happens is lengthy, so I'll spare the details, but I will say that this is one of the best customer service experiences we have EVER had. If every business ran the way this one does, more places would have more customers for life.

It's a great store to start you pc build. I liked how the store had a variety of options to choose from when looking for certain electronics. I will definitely be going back again!

This company hired a G.C. for this store build-out that did not pay their subcontractors for their work! Local people who worked hard to get this store ready for business have lost a lot of income because of how this company is allowing their builder to conduct business. Shameful.

This is a great store for building PCs or buying Pre Builds. The staff at the Charlotte center were extremely helpful and insightful on the technology. Eric was especially helpful!! The Pre Built PC I bought from here is running as smooth as butter.

I recently purchased a 4070 ti super from micro center and I was helped by Shane and Justin they offered amazing customer service and even gave thier input regarding my graphics card which helped solidifying my purchase I'm definitely coming back for any PC related purchases.

Honestly, what didn't go well? It was fantastic. The staff were fast and helpful, the store was clean and the temperature was comfortable, and they had everything. Everything was so well organized, shelves were stocked, staff were there to help and very friendly. It was my very first experience with a Micro Center and it was so wonderful. Despite it being an hour away from where I live, I will come to this one for any technical purchase I can justify going to it for!

I want to start by saying I love this store, the customer service is great and they have every part for a pc that i need or could want and i would give the store itself a 5 star review but I gave it 2 stars because of an experience i had with the PC repair part of the store. In no way shape, or form am i bashing the store or anybody that works there. I recently built a PC for my brother in law this past week but when I finished, the PC wouldnt turn on. i spent 2 days researching and trying different things but nothing was working. I took it to micro center to have it looked at and fixed and they said it would take up to 72 hours to diagnose and fix which was perfectly fine. They got back to me 2 days later saying the CPU cable on the PSU was faulty so i brought another CPU cable up there and let them try it and it still wouldnt turn on. I heard the guy working on it tell his co worker that he tried one of their tester power supplys and the PC turned on but, he came back to us and said we had a bigger problem and they would have to keep it even longer. We bought a new PSU while we were there and asked if we could take the PC home and put the new PSU in and see if that was the problem but he said no, so we asked him if he could test the new PSU since he already had the PC open and ready to plug in a new one but again, he said no. He said no because they were about to close but it was 8:04 and they close at 9 so he still had 56 minutes to test it when it takes not even 5 minutes to plug the PSU cables in and see if it turns on, and at this point we had already made 3 trips down there for that pc when we live over 40 minutes away so it was very aggravating. He said he would keep it and test it first thing in the morning[today] and we spent all day waiting around with no answer so we drove down there to get us both a new wrist rest for our keyboards and when we walked in the store, both techs were sitting in chairs talking and laughing and bullcrapping around and our PC was no where to be seen on the work benches but nobody else was in there getting a PC fixed so i texted them asking how much longer it would be because i wasnt making a 4th trip down here within 3 days to get it and they finally texted me an hour before they close saying they were starting on it but by the time they finish and my drive down there I would not be able to get it today which means it would extend the 72 hours into 4 days and we still have to pay the installation fee for the new PSU. I will continue going to micro center for parts for my PC and accessories but never again will i take a PC there to get repaired and im not telling anyone to not take their PC there to get repaired but ,make sure before you do, if you can fix it at home do it. Dont make the drive and waste the money on them if you dont absolutely have to.
