We had a wonderful stay at Microtel Boracay. The location is peaceful and away from the heavy crowd, giving us the perfect blend of relaxation and beach vibes. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, and the beachfront area was absolutely beautiful. The staff were warm, polite, and always ready to assist with anything we needed. Overall, a very comfortable and pleasant experience — highly recommended for anyone looking for a calm and serene stay in Boracay.

Let’s start by saying the staff are lovely. But the property is not… We arrived to a lobby that smells like sewerage, before going to our room that was 27 degrees and the aircon unit not working even though it was working - sounds like a loud clanking machine but has zero cooling output. It doesn’t work! The maintenance guy came to fix it but it hasn’t been fixed and still sounds like a train engine. The room is dated with a large crack in the ceiling and paint missing on the walls, and a view of what looks like a rubbish tip. The room is small and not suitable for 2 x adults and 2 x kids. There’s no bottled water (assuming you can’t drink tap water) and no milk for tea or coffee. There’s a rooster that crows all night, and random dogs that bark when the rooster stops! The wardrobe light doesn’t go off leaving the room light overnight and the toilet doesn’t flush properly. The location is at the end of a long narrow road (approx 1.2km) which feels dark and a bit unsafe. There’s no footpath so you have to get transport to go anywhere. All in all I would NOT stay here again and definitely NOT recommend it to anyone. Pay the extra $ and stay somewhere you’ll enjoy!

The hotel is very well maintained and even has a swimming pool. The front desk staff are very welcoming. They offer a free shuttle service for pick-up and drop-off based on their scheduled timings. It is a safe and secure place to stay. They provide free breakfast, serve high-quality and tasty food, and clean the rooms every day.

We had a great stay at Microtel. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The room is simple but has everything you need. The bonus was a great selection of board games. My children enjoyed playing different games in the afternoons. Another bonus is a free shuttle to Station 2. We would normally use it once a day. Location isn't the best (we didn't like the beach by the hotel), but it is a walking distance to Station 1. Only once during high tide it was hard getting there. It is a wonderful value for money and I can definitely reccomend stating there.

I am thinking this is one of the better places on the island. Check in very smooth and friendly. When you arrive in Boracay you will take bus to terminal then boat over to island and bus to hotel. If you have lots of luggage you will need a porter. Note bring small bills for various tips. I watched some struggle to carry luggage over sand up to the boat ramp. I arrived about 815 pm. in hotel lobby. The view out of my window not so great. The A.C. was awesome and the beds were very comfortable for me. Rooms do not have safes and the water is not potable. In the halls you will see several water stations. Hotel does not do currency exchanges nor is there an ATM, plan accordingly. Local mall has currency exchange. You room has a glass water container you can fill up about .7 ML. Shower gets really hot be careful. This place is on the beach the tide was rough today! Fyi kid friendly!

The staff definitely are A1 but these hotel is very outdated. The toilet clogged on our very first morning. No complimentary coffee which should be a standard. We don’t mind spending but the food at Mama’s Fish House is very expensive as compared to other restos with the same or better caliber in the island. On the plus side, it is very quiet here so good to stay and rest before going to the busy white beach.
