Microtel Placentinos

Lovely hotel. A warm welcome and very hospitable throughout my stay. Very clean, nicely decorated rooms and communal areas. I stayed in the loft room. Being 6foot was not a problem. Whilst the breakfast had a small set up I had everything I could want. For what you pay, in this location I couldn’t ask for more.

This was a lovely hotel. Centrally located in Salamanca so easy walking to all the sites. Very comfortable room with a balcony. Great service. They gave us new water bottles on our second day and a good breakfast. A bit challenging checking in. Street is too narrow to navigate with a car but we parked (illegally) close by to unload and then found a free parking spot about 15 min walk away. And it was cheap! 60 euros a night.

I had a great couple of nights at this hotel. It is a great bargain in Salamanca. It is is located within 5-10 minutes of most of the main sights. Service is excellent for the level of hotel it is. It is located about a 20-25 min walk from the train station. Internet access was solid and and reasonably speedy. Breakfast is what one would expect at this price level. Basically a continental breakfast with Spanish options. My room had a refrigerator which was useful. No kettle or coffee maker though. I had the attic room with a sloping ceiling which they warn you about when making a reservation. This description and warning they give you is correct. I am 5'10" and had no issues though I had to bend over when shaving in the bathroom to see myself in mirror. If you are much taller than 5'10" you may not want to take this room. ||I really enjoyed Salamanca and my stay at the Microtel.

A very good location for walking to the old city. The staff were friendly, but did not speak much English. Our room 23 was comfortable and quiet, but had a sloped ceiling, so we had to bend to not hit our heads. The breakfast had good choices. This small hotel does have an elevator.

This is a classic hostal with comfortable rooms. The service is quite nice and agreable. Location is great and perfect for a 2-3 days trip in the city.

Nice little hotel, perfect location. Beautiful interior. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Breakfast - ok. We stayed in the simplest room - it's the one with the slanted ceiling, and there's really not enough height haha, but ok for one-two nights when you don't plan to spend much time in the room. The only downside - the fridge was too loud, maybe get a new silent one.

We stayed here for two nights and were very happy. Our room was small but beautiful. The Front Desk staff were very nice and helpful. Our bed was very comfortable and the bathroom clean and efficient. Breakfast was good. The hotel location is exceptional - walking distance to everything! This is a good hotel.

I came across this hotel on Trip Advisor and I am really glad I did!||I have rarely found such a great value for money accommodation: the room and the bathroom were very comfortable, very clean and had all that was needed for a 3-day stay. The location could not have been more central, hyper convenient. Included in the price a good breakfast. Hotel staff was friendly and professional. ||For sure I will go back should I travel to Salamanca again!
