Middle Bay Beach

The beach itself is fine, albeit small in size. Water quality was very good indeed the time I went (Dec 2024). For one thing, there are only a handful of parking spaces (6-7) on the side of the road; besides, you need to walk about 30 metres before you get to the beach.

Spent an afternoon here last month and appreciated how peaceful it was compared to the more crowded beaches nearby. The sand is actually quite soft and pleasant once you get away from the rocky shoreline, and I managed to find some interesting seashells while walking along the water's edge. The sunset views here are genuinely beautiful - watching the sun dip behind the mountains while the water turns golden was definitely the highlight of my visit. However, getting there was a bit of a hassle with only a handful of parking spaces available along the road, and I had to walk down a short path to reach the beach itself. The changing rooms and showers are functional but nothing special. Water quality seems to vary - it looked clear on my visit but I've heard mixed reports from others. If you're looking for a quiet spot to relax away from the main tourist areas, this works well, though the limited facilities and small size mean it's best for shorter visits rather than full beach days.

It’s a super small beach and very quiet. It’s nice to chill out and relax. wouldn’t say water is in the best condition it’s quite blurry and dirty. You can even go there later in a day and get a longer sun session compare to rupaulse beach. definitely recommend bringing some snacks and water because there is in the many options. On the weekends is the best place to go because on the way back to Hong Kong you can get the transportation quickly either a taxi or a bus.

Small beach, better than repulse bay. Sand quality is very good; other aspects rather average

Very rocky at the shore and the water is like oily. Your skin will feel weird with an oily cast after swimming inside. Sand towards the top of the beach is softer and nicer though. Quite nice seashells found there as well but a ton of rocks so be careful with your feet. It’s a very quiet beach with little to no people at all so it’s pretty peaceful

i went here last night with my friends. before leaving, i decided to go to the changing room, when i went in, a man with a towel on his neck followed me, i assumed he was going to change his clothes so i didnt think much at first. once got in, i put my stuff on the seating area and looked around the room, while doing so, the man was creepily walking around as well, but i also didnt think much of it since i was kinda doing the same. so i took my clothes and got in one f the changing stalls, in there i can vaguely hear some footstep. i went out and sat back on the seating area to wear my sandals. suddenly the man starts walking towards me and asks (in canto) "are you leaving?" i answered yes. he asked "you wanna play?" and starts slowly trying to grab my hand. i pulled away and said no, then he left. do not go in the changing rooms alone at night

Verry nice and clean sorroundings,Good for having picnic and celebration and theres a clean barbecue area its so wonderful.
