This is the most beautiful water I have ever swam in. It’s very cold but feels so amazing. There are several dirt parking lots along hwy 2 to access the river and you have to walk down a fairly steep trail. Pretty magical place. There weren’t many people there either with made it even better. No bathrooms.

Amazing rapids. Great for day run, class 3 and 4 with easily spotted hazards during mid flow. Pinball gets more difficult in lower flows under 2kcfs.

Bad 👎 place to visit, cold 🥶 in winter, 6 foot mosquitoes 🦟 😫 in summer. Stay away is possible.
