Great place for Metuchen, Edison residents for an evening walk. The walkpath is 3 miles long one side. I heard this was an old railroad that was transformed to a walkpath. The walkpath is covered with trees in most places and is nice and shady for an evening walk. I have seen variety of birds, deer, fox, rabbit, groundhog and ducks in this trail. The bridge across US1 highway is a fun place for kids. Couple of things I feel needs to improve in the greenway. 1. There needs to be a kids park somewhere in the middle 2. There needs to be some restriction on speeding bikers. Some of them are riding superfast, and if a kid starts running, they get annoyed. I think they feel it is their racetrack

Awesome spot to walk, bike, or blade. Trail is flat until you reach the bridge crossing the highway. Veey steep but a great workout! Multiple spots to enter the trail along the way but I entered at the dirt parking lot with the porta potties.

Excellent place to go for a walk or run. Yes, you have to cross 2 intersections but you can get in a 6 to 8 mile run. Plus, you get to see all of the interesting art along the way.

The scenery was nice and relaxing. A few benches here and there, and not much trash. A variety of different trails to take and sometimes they are split between crosswalks on roads. I will recommend you to go in the morning when there aren't a lot of people.

Really great place to walk with your family and pets. Wide open path with easy access to get on and off. One entrance point is the back of the Tano Mall in Edison. The back parking lot comes right up to the path near the Route 1 overpass. Some spots of the walk are shaded and others are open to the sun.

Its pretty straight trail but it has completely paved path to bike. Usually crowded over the weekends. The trail has 1 traffic light and 2 stops and 1 bridge and is in shade for almost all of it. Its 3.5 miles 1 way, I was able to complete to and fro 7 miles in under an hour on slow pace. Its a good place to bike but views are okayish
