Want to destroy your stay at the City of Joy.. then plz step in to this place.. formally calked a hotel may be few years or decades ago. Wasted a long night here. No more time and energy to describe. Experience it to describe it. Njoy !! By the way if you are planning to do some plan chat or something.. WELCOME TO TGE HAVELI !! SPECIAL ATTRACTION BROKEN FOORING.. RECIEPTIONIST.. AND a bathroom you would like to take snap. Overall a great experience !!

Ok stay.Value for money. Basic amenities are good. Breakfast is decent.

Good rooms, had to call the room service multiple times for a single issue, location is the major advantage.. all the prime locations and places are very close. If you are going for Visa purposes - The US Consulate General Kolkata is like 200-250 Meters, you can easily reach there and the Visa Application Center at Jasmine tower is 1 km from the hotel so it's also walkable.

I recently stayed at this hotel which was rated as a 3-star establishment, and I was the lead guest for my reservation. Unfortunately, my entire stay was marred by the incompetence of the receptionist. Upon check-in, the receptionist displayed a shocking lack of knowledge regarding the hotel’s policies. Not only did they fail to mention the complimentary breakfast, but their overall demeanor left much to be desired. During the check-out process, the receptionist’s actions were equally frustrating. They called me just 10 minutes before the official check-out time, displaying a complete lack of respect for guests’ time and privacy. This lack of professionalism and courtesy was a significant letdown. Moreover, the disappointments did not end there. The hotel lacked basic amenities, including proper shower gel and utilities. When you’re paying a certain amount for accommodation, you rightfully expect a certain level of service and privacy. Regrettably, this was not the case during my stay, primarily due to the receptionist’s incompetence. With such a poor experience, the only thing this hotel managed to check-in was my disappointment.

Under renovation. Rooms are actually neat but not maintained well. Our room is good ,neat and clean. We had a GOOD breakfast. Overall GOOD. You have 24 hrs AC, Hot Water, the room was cleaned for our stay the next, neatly arranged. Anyday you can stay here. Your breakfast is on the hotel, good one. The staff is courteous, but their commonsense and knowledge can be definitely improved.

A decent hotel to stay .. #what's good - Location (very near to us consulate) - Just value for money - The room AC was good - The room was clean #what can be improved - The entry to inn is kind of tresure hunt (fix it with some arrow or labeling) - The breakfast was just ok. #what can improve your stay - The internal rooms are without natural light. Hence avoid them. - The room was small - will be just ok for 2 persons

Room fine but no housekeeping for three day stay. Reported inoperative safe and ignored.||Pictures of breakfast area not reflective of my experience. Grubby.||||Reception staff rude. Website and their page on TripAdvisor states airport transport, which I ordered and supplied arrival time. I arrived at 11..30 pm and nothing. When I finally got to hotel and asked what happened, I was rudely told they don’t do it. Totally dismissed with no apology.||Restaurant next door is excellent, hotel less so.

The rooms are in desperate need of improvement. The flooring is worn-out. Rooms are small in size 6X12 feet. You can see in pictures, hardly any space around the bed. The walls showed signs of neglect, with dirty paint and unsightly stains. It was evident that maintenance and upkeep were severely lacking, giving the place an overall dingy and uninviting ambiance. Overall, the rooms at Middleton Inn were a major letdown, failing to provide the comfort and quality expected from a good hotel. With the lack of maintenance, outdated amenities, cleanliness issues, I cannot recommend this hotel to fellow travelers.
