Stayed one night during our road trip in Iceland. Friendly and helpful staff, spacious rooms with six beds, several individual showers with very good cleanliness. A coin-operated laundry is available, with free drying cabins. From 2 PM to 10 PM, guests can enjoy a sauna and a heated pool. Excellent breakfast—I highly recommend their homemade muesli; the only small drawback is that the shared kitchen does not have a stove, only a microwave. But overall, I recommend it!

We had a blast doing the four day Northern Light Adventure. The service at Midgard is great, Gina was incredibly welcoming. All of the tour guides are great. John and Magnus were the best doing the jeep adventure and the glacier hike respectively. We had a lot of fun on the adventures planned and watching the lights from the hottub was amazing. The food in the evening is amazing and well prepared. The only critique I have is the prices at the bar are extremely high ($12+ for one beer). The excursions typically extended past or right up to the end of happy hour, so the price would go up even more. It felt like a bit of a cash grab.

This place was awesome! I really appreciated the subtle aspects they thought of for American travelers, like always having fresh drip coffee. The restaurant was great, both dinner and breakfast. They were very accommodating to our gluten restrictions as well. The room we stayed in wasn’t very big by US standards, but was so smartly laid out it didn’t matter. As someone that works with tons of businesses, I was super impressed with how well they know their customers and how they built everything about their business to make staying there a great experience.

This place was perfect for a family with three kids. The converted concrete plant had edgy design vibe, but still fun. The kids loved the bunk rooms with custom built bunks and privacy curtains. The hot tub and sauna on the rooftop allowed us to look out onto the adjacent pastureland….and never got too crowded.

Worth every penny. Probably some of the most fun I've had on a trip anywhere. They took care of us, kept us informed, more or less waited on us hand in foot, within reason. Really they did so much to give us the best experience. The crew and staff were AAA, this is NOT a triple A resort but in my opinion, it's better. Thank you Midgard for all the great memories, I will absolutely be coming back.

The breakfast is so not worth $19 USD each, avoid. Other than that the experience was really pleasant. One of the best burgers my wife and I had was their adventure burger - a must try!

I stayed here through an organized week-long tour and had an amazing experience. Midgard was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was 10/10 every day. Carlos was our tour guide throughout the trip and was amazing! He had a well thought out itinerary and adapted as needed based on the weather to make sure we were having the best experience.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Allowed me to park a campervan right outside, and use the facilities for a small fee. Lovely shower area, with heated flooring, nice kitchen with all necessities. Everything is immaculately clean with a modern and funky feel.
