We recently stayed at a hotel that left a generally positive impression. The location was fantastic—just about an 800-meter walk to the city center, which made it super convenient for exploring. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly, always ready with a smile and eager to explain anything we needed to know.
One standout feature was the free mini-bar in the room. Everything in it—the drinks and snacks—was complimentary, which is a rarity in Australian hotels and a really pleasant surprise. It definitely added a nice touch to the stay.
The room itself was spotless and well-kept. If I had to point out any downside, it would be the parking situation. The underground parking area had a notably steep slope—around a 30-degree angle or so—meaning you’d need to have some confident driving skills to navigate in and out comfortably.
Overall, it was a positive stay with just that minor challenge, and the complimentary amenities definitely made it memorable.
