Midnight Moon Cabins

My husband and I loved renting the cozy cabin. It's a well-furnished cabin that had a really warm setup. We appreciated the nice gesture of Champagne and Roses from Sarah and Anne for our anniversary celebration. Since we brought our pups with us, they even had dog treats and poop bags available to us. We had a blast!

My wife and I took an anniversary getaway to big bear and stayed here. The place was beautiful. Very comfortable living. Although upon our arrival, there were some issues with the cabin, the owners were quick and reactive to helping our experience get back on track. Another awesome feature and what honestly pushed us to staying as this specific cabin was the charger. We own a Tesla and let me tell you. Chargers are definitely limited on the mountain! But through their EV charger, I believe I paid a dollar for each charge ? But each charge was for an unlimited amount of time. So you could go from 15% to 100% for only a dollar (or whatever the super low price was) I would seriously recommend this place and will honestly probably go back. Overall really great experience!

We stayed in Moonshine last December and can't stop thinking about how adorable this cabin is! We had such a wonderful vacation and coming back to such a beautiful home everyday really made it the perfect trip for us. A huge plus for us was that they are dog friendly. We plan on staying in one of their other cabins when we return to Big Bear again this holiday season!

First off I would like to start off with and say that the cabin was beautiful. But I have to say it stayed 83° throughout the day there. There's no circulation. The frigerator was leaking when we showed up there. There was a pile of water on the floor so I took a paper towel and stuck it underneath the metal part where the water was leaking. The Teflon pans was and bad enough shape. Where I couldn't fry an egg for my wife. But other than that, everything else was spectacle.

I had the loveliest, and coziest stay here! I hadn’t been to Big Bear in many years and it was the perfect location to experience it again. Close to everything, yet tucked away. The cabin is super comfortable, spacious and the kitchen was fully equipped and wonderful to cook in. You can feel the love and care put into this amazing place. Loved morning walks in the neighborhood and the coffee spot just down the street. Would love to book again soon!

I had stayed here before with my son 3 years ago , decided to bring my mother , because was nice when I had stayed before , it has turned into a rat whole , all the light bulbs where burnt out , the heater didn’t work also was fulll of lint / dust , the outdoor fire pit was broken didn’t work , the hard wood floors where dirty , & whole cabin smelled of pet urine ! I contacted person whom helped me get the rental , and know apologies or compensation was made . Very disappointed and embarrassed , wanted my mother to have a good vacation, and it was a 2 star at best even the TP was one ply ! And they make u wash ur own sheets and do own dishes when you leave ! Then why have to pay $170 cleaning fee ? Will not ever stay here again! Save ur money , stay elsewhere!!!

Midnight Moon Cabins are the most enchanting places to stay when you go to Big Bear. They are Modern, clean, beautiful and just so inviting!The owners have obviously put a lot of time and care to make these cabins a perfect getaway. Each cabin has its own individuality and charm. There are different sizes to meet each groups needs. Once I stayed at midnight moon cabins I don’t want to go anywhere else! Do yourself a favor and book your vacation now so you don’t miss out on this dreamy experience!

It was couple months ago, 4 of us, my husband and I and my 2 kids stayed with Midnight moon cabins. I won’t say it was a totally awful experience but some of them were really lower than our expectations. Their website pictures were attractive enough, but when we got there we found something were very different from our imagination. Bed sheets were very cheap, very uncomfortable, it was my nightmare sleeping on them. Compared the night rate they charged, more than $550/night, they should at least offer something more comfortable, it won’t cost too much, at least enough for making their guests having a quality rest! Bathroom is on first floor, stairs between first and second floors is very narrow, even with enough light, it was still not too safe to walk on it during night time, especially when you having a little one (mine was 4) . Bathroom water tank( might set on roof) was broken I guess, because when you taking shower, a lot water flowing from ceiling, there was not enough hot water at all after my older son’s shower. We had to finish it almost in cold water. Bathroom was extremely cold, where seems the heater could not reached out. Other than these, entire cabin was clean, was as described as their website. Kitchen was a sparkling high light, it filled all we needs while we stayed, even beyond than that . But I guess we won’t come back again if nothing updates, due to the poor quality and the 2 nights sleeping experience. Hopefully they could do something if they still charge this much for their cabin.
