Very bad experience! Think twice before you book this apartment!! We have booked via Booking for 3 days of stay and been looking forward to have a great family vacation. We have paid everything, provided personal information in advance. But just 20 hours before we arrive, the they cancelled our booking! There was no clear explanation and they did not help us with finding other accommodation. I tried to call the support number but never anyone answered. This is not acceptable!!!!!

I am giving 2 starts out of 5. One star for the beautiful apartment and location, one star for the great service we sometimes had. The apartment and its location are amazing! The service was good, until we arrived. Officially you are allowed to check in at 3PM, but at 3:30 I still had not heard anything (I would receive a text message if the apartment was ready). We had a baby with us, who needed to sleep. So I messaged them to ask if the apartment is ready, they messaged back: yes you can pick up the key. Finally at the rental office, they said the key wasn’t there, because the apartment wasn’t ready yet, so they had lied!!! This was at 4:15 PM. At that time I received a phone call as well to tell me the apartment wasn’t ready. I asked if the baby could at least get in to sleep. The answer was no and they were very sorry. I asked for a solution, that was 20% discount on the first night. Of course that’s not a solution! Also I asked when the apartment would be ready, she said: in 1,5 hours (!!!!!!!!). We had to book a hotel room for 130 euros, because the baby needed a bed to sleep! Finally at 5:15 pm I received a message I could pick up the key. Apartment is gorgeous, but one of the beds is horrific. So I wonder what their solution is going to be, except for the discount, which they made 50% on the first night.

We booked for 8 people, this turned out to be 3 rooms and a sofa bed (which we would have been fine with). When we questioned the owner about the sofa bed on arrival, he wouldn't let us pull it out whilst with us- the reason was later made clear, as we discovered it was only big enough for 1 child or a very small adult! Three people had to sleep in one double bed and one on the actual sofa (not pulled out). The rooms were ok but far from the Wow factor that the photos portrayed. One of the sheets was severely soiled in blood so we had to use a throw from the sofa as a blanket/duvet. When we told the manager about the sheet the response we received was unhelpful to say the least. We were avoided on checkout (even though the manager promised us we would be able to speak to the owner) and offered no alternative for the three nights we were there. The fire alarm battery was failing as it beeped for three days and nights (we also informed them of this) and there were several cockroaches. Our phone calls (note plural) to the "emergency" number were ignored as was our emails. Very disappointed! Ruined our Holiday.

Please be aware, these are NOT luxury apartments and are certainly not 4 star by any stretch of the imagination. I would rate 2-3 star but you can find better quality 3 star hotel rooms or apartments. Not very clean and extremely tired and dated. The word luxury should not be allowed in the description.

We booked a 3 bedroom apartment via Airbnb. They gave us a 2 bedroom and tried to convince us that we were wrong. After agreeing to speak with the "manager" the next morning we tried to sleep in the rooms. The apartment was filthy. Had blood stains on duvet cover, mildew/mold on plates in dishwasher with dirty old standing water, oven was filthy with food caked on it. In addition the elevator in the building broke the first night, we said this would be a problem since my mom uses a cane and/or wheelchair to get around. They did not fix as promised. I brought up issues with "manager" in the morning she said the apartment we were given was wrong . When I questioned her and asked to see the apartment we booked (she said it had a bathroom problem) she said it was not possible and admitted they rented it to someone else. I went down with the mentality of working with them if they would fix elevator, clean apartment properly and adjust price for smaller apartment size but her response was deal with it as is or check out. When we said we would leave since they were not attempting to work with us "manager" said I must check out and take bags out before 10:30am and could not wait until they fixed the elevator. Had to carry 6 bags down from 6th floor (attic level). Very rude people who treat you poorly. When I left the property they changed reservation from 3 days to 1 day at a higher rate. Airbnb was amazing and helped fix everything with a full refund for our troubles. I have pictures and documentation of everything.

Great place for the location : you are close to everything. Well equipped: washing machine, tumbler, TV, home cinema... Good looking. But it's not as luxurious as the name says. Everything's from IKEA. It looks good but fragile. The jacuzzi was not usable. The Spa bath was defect. The kitchen dirty (especially the oven). A bit too expensive.

Bad experience. Appartment have not been renovated since very long time. I got a COCROACH in my bed! And there is never hot water in the shower. When we complain on Saturday morning. The manager told me tha t she is only a weekend manager and the only thing she can do is to give us another “better” flat, so she first suggested absolutely identical flat on another floor, which looked just as badly and in addition smelled very badly too. Plus the cleaning lady said that there are cockroaches in all flats in this part of the building. So the manager suggested us another flat, which was in another part of the building, it looked better at first side, we agreed. Then only we realized, that the bath was sinking, the bathroom was dirty (dirty walls, smbs hear all other the carpet, etc Bref, they didn’t propose us a refund or any compensation. We asked for a late checkout, they refused saying that they already gave us a bigger flat, although we never asked for a bigger flat, just for a clean one with a shower which works and without cockroaches! We payed 600 euros for 2 nights. I will never go back to this place.

Very bad experience we had with midtown luxury apartments. We arrived on Sunday morning at 9:40 am after departures from the cruise, we arrived at the front door and no Reciption we called and a lady answered she was clueless about the booking she took our details and didn’t do anything. She told us check in should be at 3 pm but we are here already at least any one will open the door and take our five bags. She was rude and giving us ridiculous instructions about some mail box outside to find the keys but nothing was there, we told her atleast send some one to help us we were standing in the street with our elderly mother she was tired she keep saying please follow the instructions. and waited for an houre till 10:30 am then a lady live in the building told us that the Reciption open in weekend at 11:00 am but she is sitting inside.. we got very angry we canceled our booking at the same moment and booked to another apartment hotel .. i travel alot I’ve been in so many hotels, apartment, and villas this is the first time i face a problem like this.
