Mighty Nest

I have been shopping with Mighty Nest for years. When I used to work in Skokie, I often picked up my purchases from their office. Everyone there is so nice and helpful! Now I have everything shipped and it always comes in re-/up-cycled packaging.

Love the premise. In practice, not as effective as I would like. Mighty Nest purports to send you one item a month to help you change over to something more environmentally conscious. Unfortunately, in reality, the items they have are mostly junk that clutters your counters, cabinets, drawers, or what have you. Anything more useful ends up not available for your "surprise" item. You can choose the item you can receive, but those choices are vary limited, repetitive, and anything good ends up with an added premium price, usually exorbitant. What makes it worth 4 stars is the added available items that you can shop for. For example, I can get Mrs. Murphy's products that are hard to get and more expensive elsewhere, like limited, seasonal scents in bar soaps and dishwashing liquids, at good prices for far longer that at other sites. Might Nest does offer a few products I haven't seen elsewhere. they also allow you to add your preferred products as a subscription at no additional postage to your monthly package. One more benefit: you can change your shipping date at any time. Just remember to do this if you need to or if you don't care for the items on your list of choices. So, if you choose to sign up, just be aware of the caveats and check in regularly.

I subscribed last summer and quickly discovered that it’s best for neophytes. I already subscribed to Grove and Thrive. Each monthly gift was something I had had for years. There was little exciting on their site. I cancelled and was told they would cancel at the end of my subscription. So, I have gotten the monthly gift (only one was something I didn’t have — attractive but I didn’t need it) and purchased nothing else. Be very careful before subscribing.

I LOVE Mighty Nest and the Mighty Nest Fix! It's like a surprise birthday present each month and I love the products that they send! Like someone else said, one time I received something that I had previously purchased so I gave it as a hostess gift and they loved it! I am always impressed with the value of what I receive each month. Plus, I've had great customer service!

I love my Mighty Nest subscription! I have enjoyed everything they have sent me thus far! I've had the subscription for about 4 months now and I think it is certainly worth the $10 each month! I would highly recommend these products and this service to all my friends and family :) I will be continuing my subscription until further notice :D

I love the Mighty Nest blog, and everything they sell! So many high quality healthy products all in one place. A couple of my favorite products are the natural makeup remover, stainless steel sandwich containers, and they have great wood toys (safe, fun gifts for my grandchildren!). I am tempted to try the subscription since healthy surprises are fun, and it looks really easy to swap out items before each box is shipped.

If you receive something you already have or you don't personally use - give it as a gift! I got a water bottle that I gave as a gift and it was well received. I also share with my daughter if it is something I don't want. It is a great way to get stuff you may not normally buy for yourself. I have received the beeswax wrap, small containers of different shapes, sizes and material (glass and metal), dishcloths, produce bags, reusable and collapsible shopping bags (think shoulder bag and nylon), a long handled refillable sink brush, the glass water bottle I mentioned and the list goes on. I have been a member for almost 2 years and enjoy the nice monthly surprise. I have also made purchases to ship free with my mighty fix subscription - my all time fave is the silicone ice trays. Most folks have ice makers but I use them in our camper and love them. Not everyone is going to be happy all the time but try it if you think you would enjoy it, you can cancel any time.

I so love receiving my MightyFix every month! It is well worth the $10 in subscription for the MightyFix exclusive you receive every month. I just received my MightyFix and I am so excited and love the surprise every month of something new to try.The monthly products allow me to build up my supply of natural products for my home at a great price and if I add on to my monthly order the shipping is free for everything else I order.

MightyNest has very poor customer service. I suggest not ordering from this company. I placed an order for a Fresh Air Kitchen Compost Collector on 03/30/2017. When I went to set it up, I noticed it was damaged, on April 14. I sent an email, like stated on their website, for an exchange. It went unanswered. I called on April 21, I did not leave a message. I sent a second email stating I wished to exchange the damaged product; I attached the photo. No response. I called on April 24 and left a message for a return call to handle the situation. No response. I called on April 25 and stated I would like an exchange and if I didn't hear from them, I would file complaints. I did not hear back. On April 25 I also tried to contact via Facebook.

I recently found out about this place and glad I did. So impressed with the service. They open at 9am which totally makes sense for a place that sells children items bc moms are up early! Im always surprised when kid store open at 11. They answered the phone, A PERSON answered the phone! Hooray! They double checked inventory for something I saw on their site and advised me to purchase online and request in-store pick up. They wowed me even more when I called as I pulled up and they kindly ran out my order bc my daughter was in her carseat. I mean seriously, this is the kind of service consumers dream of and few vendors provide. I will be shopping her for anything kid related and beyond.
