I have been a loyal customer of Mignon Faget for over 30 years and have always made a point to support locally owned businesses. Over the years, I’ve collected many of their beautiful and unique pieces—necklaces, rings, bracelets, cuffs, and earrings—and each one is truly special.
In January of 2012, my oldest son gifted me a pair of hive stud earrings for my birthday. Sadly, my son passed away in 2015, and those earrings have since become incredibly sentimental to me. I wear them often because they help me feel close to him.
A few months ago, I noticed that one of the earrings was missing and I was absolutely heartbroken. Despite searching everywhere, it was nowhere to be found. On a chance, I reached out to the customer service team to ask whether a replacement could possibly be made, even though I knew the item had been discontinued. I was told that if the original casting still existed, it might be possible.
I cannot express how grateful I was to learn that the earring could, in fact, be recreated. I sent in my remaining earring so it could be perfectly matched, and yesterday I received the completed piece. I am overjoyed. The match is flawless, and my set feels whole again.
