Amazing location - build on a hill, unbelievably gorgeous views and rooms. This is really heaven on earth! Thanks to Michael, he was guiding my daughter in a bush course - show her how to make fire, hunt, and other fun things. The amazing nice buffalo was made by hands of Michael! My daughter had such a great fun! The swimming pool is amazing! We enjoyed a lot!

Lake Mburo is a great visit if you are on your way to/from Queen Elizabeth or Bwindi. Great place to see zebra or night-drive with bush babies. Not a top tier wildlife experience, but still comfortable and fun.

Stunning! The views right off our deck of a watering hole with animals coming and going. Bring binoculars. We each had our own small private villa with 360 views. The food was wonderful with accommodations made for diet restrictions. A pool overlooked the savannah with sunsets and gorgeous skies. Great cocktails and bar and close to the park. We appreciate that the lodge supports the local school and arranged for us to visit to see how we can help. A lovely experience.

Our travel agent was a bit dismissive of our decision to spend 3 nights here, as normally they recommend stopping at Lake Mburo only as a staging post to Bwindi; they're really doing their clients a disservice because it's absolutely wonderful - particularly the lodge but also the park itself.||Our accommodation was lovely, with views to Lake Kacheera. Rooms on the other side of the escarpment overlook a watering hole teeming with wildlife; as do the common areas and pool. All rooms have some steps to them but access is easier to some than others - for example Kings room is quite close to the main lodge but is accessed via a series of uneven rocks and steps which I found difficult due to balance issues, but Lake Kacheera room was a little further from the lodge via a short sloping rock and smaller even steps which I had no problem with.||Plenty of places to sit in comfort and do nothing but watch the wildlife with a glass of something chilled in your hand; equally lots of activities are on offer.||The food was insanely good; really imaginative menus with veg and non-veg choices, well-cooked and beautifully presented - it kind of spoilt us for every other lodge we stayed at! Service was amazing; attentive and friendly. ||I loved the park. The birding and wildlife was excellent, particularly as it could be enjoyed on foot (accompanied by an armed ranger) getting closer than I ever imagined to giraffe and zebra. Night drives were very good - we saw leopard on each occasion.||tl:dr Spoil yourself, stay 3 nights, it's fabulous!

Lovely place with great staff. But needs some more poolcleaning and some renovations. Food is awesome and the massages for 30$/h i will recommend for everyone.

Mihingo lodge is a fantastic place to relax while enjoying the beautiful nature around Lake Mburo. Rooms are beautiful, service is good and food is exquisite! They are also flexible to dietary requirements. They offer different activities to enjoy in the park. We'll done to all. Highly recommended

This was easily one of our favorite lodges on our safari in Uganda. I wish we had booked additional nights here. I would give this lodge more than 5 stars if I could. It was exceptional. ||The lodge is beautiful with attention to every detail. The common areas are gorgeous. ||Our cottage was spotless and high up in the trees with stunning views. We sat on our porch and watched the sun set. We saw baboons and moneys not even 20 feet away. We loved listening to the sounds of the forest. ||The room was spotless. The bed was large with lots of pillows. It was wonderful. The bathroom was large with tons of room. ||We loved our meals too. Everything was fresh after dinner we sat in the bar and talked to three of the staff. They were happy to share their culture with us and tell us about life in the area. We just loved it. ||This lodge is a special place. Don’t make the same mistake we did — book more than one night!

We enjoyed a great walking safari with Ranger Petra, who pointed out all the birds, plants, and animals with details on how to safely approach or retreat. Petra shared her great passion for the animals
