We stayed there one night and absolutely loved the place. It’s walking distance from main city sightseeings, and is located in historical neighbourhood with many gorgeous mansions around (mostly old and not necessarily renovated but still charming and atmospheric). The building is the original mansion built more than a century ago. Interiors are preserved and give you amazing feeling of travelling in time. Rooms are spacy, bathroom modern, there was AC in our room which is a must in such a hot summer. Price was more than reasonable for such a unique stay. And the host was extremely nice and helpful. Totally recommended

We returned to this gorgeous mansion decorated in Ottoman style. It was a pleasure to stay in the middle of such a historical and beautiful place. The rooms are clean, spacious, with high ceilings, big windows, everything decorated in Ottoman style, made of wood, including the shower. varied breakfast with Turkish delicacies. The mansion is a 2-minute walk from the old center and the bazaar, where I could buy everything I needed for home, souvenirs, vegetables and fruits from the market, coffee, Turkish delight, olives, oil etc.

We stayed here for two nights to attend a wedding in town. Located on a residential street, the hotel has a charming, old-fashioned feel to it, and largely appears to be furnished and decorated to the style of 1900 or so. But the room was very comfortable, has a stylish bathroom, and good Wi-Fi. The staff were very nice and helpful, even giving us a key to the street door so we could get back in late night. They serve a typical breakfast in the basement. Not much for views; the house next door is falling down. Easy walking distance to the heart of town.

Our welcome here was very warm and friendly. We were ushered in by the owner and sat in a drawing room with a spectacular painted ceiling while our hosts took all our bags up to our rooms. (we were a group of 6 people) We were served Turkish tea and coffee and Turkish delight while we waited. It was fun to stay in a renovated building like this and the owner - who did all the renovation work himself, was obviously proud of his property - and rightly so. That said, our feeling was that this was a man who had a dream of renovating a building to make a hotel, but who did not necessarily have a lot of travel experience himself to know what is important in a hotel room. The furniture - while trying to look like period pieces - where just not practical and mostly just took up too much space. Meanwhile the bathroom was minuscule with no water barrier for the shower - allowing the water to go everywhere. There were not hotel appropriate blinds on the windows to ensure complete privacy and the open window let out to what was a surprisingly noisy street. |We had an elderly man who uses a cane in our group and the steps up to the hotel from the street gave me a heart attack every time he had to go up or down because they were steep and uneven. |Overall, we were all happy that we had the experience of staying in such a cool looking place, but were also happy that it was only for one night. |The owner could certainly improve the "hotel" aspects with a few minor changes and I really hope he does, because it is a lovely property that has been renovated with passion.

Spent two nights here on a recent visit to Edirne. This is a beautiful house lovingly restored by a prominent local architect. The rooms are large, nicely decorated, and well furnished. The owner was wonderfully welcoming (he invited me to join him and his friends both evenings for tea and wide variety of fresh fruit; on the day I departed, he drove me to the otogar for an early morning bus) and the staff very helpful (one went out of her way to get a bus ticket for me).||||And yes, I really did meet Russell Crowe there; he and a site crew were visiting, looking at the place for possible use in an upcoming movie titled The Water Diviner.

Ideal hotel for pleasure and holidays! Located in the centre this hotel is a real plus for the city. Beautiful building with great rooms. All the rooms are decorated with the Ottoman style thus there is a feel of history and antiquity. The staff is really helpful and speak English. Finally, great breakfast with a variety of Turkish delights.

Well-maintained old-fashioned architecture. Wooden exterior and interior, even shower room is all wooden. ||||Decorations include some antique phones, typewriters, retro-radios. ||Good-sized room with a lot of natural sunlight.||||No tea/coffee facility inside of the room. The cafes in the old-town are near by. ||||No lift to the upstairs. ||||Breakfast area inside of the building is on the lower ground floor. ||Garden breakfast area was lovely on sunny days. ||||To arrange the breakfast, you need to let the lady know what time you would like your breakfast. Mine was arranged for 8am.||||The lady was very attentive, although does not speak English. The gentleman (owner of the hotel) speaks English.||||He said that when he bought this place, he spent 3 years cleaning everything to recover the beauty of the decor. ||||Positioned close to the historical places, such as mosques (walkable distance).||||I enjoyed the stay.

Dated from 1905, an old Edirne mansion turned into a boutique hotel. Warm, all antique furniture, comfortable beds. Local and friendly service. Simple but delicious breakfast. Walking distance to all the monuments and restaurants.
