Incredible BBQ and Friendly Service! I had an amazing experience ! The BBQ was cooked to perfection — juicy, tender, and full of smoky flavor. The brisket melted in my mouth, The staff was welcoming and attentive ... I RECOMMEND ...

I just happened to stop in bc I was in the area and it had good reviews and I wanted to try something new. Parking lot looked a lil sketch But I’m sooo glad I went inside!! Everyone was very polite and welcoming. I thought prices were decent. The food tho - everything was amazing! I got brisket, pulled pork and pork ribs - pulled pork and brisket were perfect Probably some of best bbq all around I’ve experienced - no bs Highly recommend and I’ll certainly return 🙏🏾

We ordered from here today for 5 people to be delivered. Others have had their BBQ before but for me it’s the first time. They have a huge lists of sides to choose from, ordering was easy and quick, delivery was also pretty quick, did not wait long. Food arrived well packed no issues, all orders were as expected and they did write the names of each order on the lid. I got the dinner plate with 2 sides, Brisket, Ham, Hot Link, Garlic and Cheese Smashed tater tots. Everything was really good, had no issues with the presentation, flavor, and bbq sauce they have. We will definitely order from here again, great food!

Mike Anderson is on the Block and brings the home cooking right to you. The food was great. As you see I could not finish it all. I think I have 1 pound to go. 🌝

Google
Honestly do not understand the good reviews. Sausage casing was hard and chewy. Brisket was ok, but not flavorful. Ribs had a fake smokey quality to them, liquid smoke added? Cole slaw was canned. BBQ beans were good. The atmosphere was sucked out of the place with the big LET"S GO BRANDON sign you have to endure in the serving line. Tired, old, hateful rhetoric that even the most die hard patriots need to retire. Be careful with your vehicle in the pot hole parking lot.

Google
This is hands-down the best BBQ restaurant in the world. There's a lot of BBQ in Texas and Mike's makes them all taste like trash. The sides are amazing; you can get crisp and flavorful cucumber salad or get a little sleepy after the cheesy cornbread. I've had them both and they couldn't be better. The meat is the star of this place though. Prepare to be saying WOW as your eyes grow wide when that smoky/sweet/salty flavor reaches your taste buds. Mike's couldn't be doing anything better. This really is -no question- the best BBQ restaurant in the world.

Google
I went there on Sunday. Very nice owner who was cutting the meat. However the brisket literally had no flavor. It tasted like cardboard. I have never had brisket that had no flavor before. The pork ribs weren’t bad but the brisket was so awful I don’t think I would ever go back. I got my order to go and I didn’t even eat 1/4 of it. Waste of money. I’ll stick with TB’s and PL.

Google
Really good bbq. The sides all look really good. I just can't stop getting the fried okra and fries. They are both seasoned really well and finally a place that knows how to get the okra crispy. The owner is very polite along with the other staff.

Yelp
Mike Anderson's BBQ is one of the family's go to place to bring out of towner friends and family! The brisket is particularly impressive, with a perfectly smoky flavor and a tender, juicy texture that pulls apart effortlessly. The sausage is flavorful, with a nice snap, and pairs well with their house-made barbecue sauces, which offer a good balance of tang and sweetness. They offer a lot of delectable sides but the cornbread loaded with cheese as a side is a must try!

Yelp
Mike Andersen's BBQ House offers a quintessential Texas barbecue experience. The ambiance immediately transports you to a classic Texas setting, with rustic graphics and decor. The setup here is a straight-forward cafeteria-style, where you tell your server what kind of meat and sides you want, and slide your tray to the end where you pay. One cool feature is their self-serve area where you can load up on slaw, onions, and pickles to add to your meal for free. They recently updated their rewards system, but unfortunately, old points from years ago don't transfer over, which may be disappointing for longtime customers like my aunt. The free soft-serve vanilla ice cream and cake cones offered at the end of the meal was a sweet gesture to encourage another visit. The BBQ plate was decent and met my southern food expectations in terms of flavor (smokey BBQ, buttery cheesy grits, and briny sides), the ambiance was very "Texas", and the self-service options for sides were convenient. The price seemed a little high for $18 a plate if I may say so myself for southern BBQ eats. I will say it kept me full all day so that is a plus. The hours are also strange opening at 10am and closing at 2:30pm Monday through Saturday. I most likely will not be back in the UT Southwestern area again as this a one-off visit, but you are more than welcome to give this place a try if you are around and are craving BBQ!

Yelp
This was a local hotel worker's suggestion. When you walk in it looks like the place is full of memorabilia and cool things to look at. When ordering your food you can see mostly everything in front of you like an assembly line. The food was ok. Not as satisfying as I would've liked for Texas BBQ. The brisket was tender and the chicken was moist and once the bbq sauce and pickles were added it made the sandwiches good. The peach cobbler was not made with enough love and the devilish eggs I did not get a chance to taste because I didn't realize until afterwards that it had meat inside, possibly pork. Overall it's not bad but also not the greatest. The price was also decent we spent about $30.

Yelp
I've eaten here years ago, I won't say how long ago or I would date myself, LOL!! Anywho, I will say that's probably why I never came back, was because it wasn't memorable. I had a work lunch and the majority of the team wanted to eat here, so I had to suck it up and eat here again. Listen, it's definitely not the worse bbq, but it's not the best either. The brisket was a bit dry and the sausage link I had was good. The service was also good. Listen, I believe if you work in the Parkland hospital area, then this is your place to eat lunch because I saw a lot of Parkland employess here yesterday.

Yelp
Thought we would stop for a quick lunch before our time at the range. Save yourself some time and energy and grab bbq from somewhere else. This is not the place. We both got the 3 meat plate. Brisket, ribs, sausage and 2 sides. I had okra and the dill potato salad. The wife had bbq beans and mustard potato salad that she added some relish too. The Brisket No flavor at all. You can tell it had been sitting as it had oxidized and stiffened up. The Sausage Although the Sausage had a nice snap, again no flavor. The Ribs When I say over smoked and tasted like creosote, plus they don't pull the membrane. I'm sorry, not the best bbq eating experience. The Ambiance Booth and table seating. Situated in the hospital district, I would say they are banking on hungry tired workers who just want something to eat to make it through. The Service It's cafeteria / buffet style. Grab your lunch tray, Mike cuts your meat the sends you on the way to get your sides. No real interactions with customers even after telling them it was our first time. Overall, not a good eating experience. Best thing I had on my plate was the okra. The best interaction was seeing a friend and sister in the faith we had not seen. Clearly we're we're sent here to see her come in.

Yelp
Best bbq in DFW. Brisket amazing and warm sauce takes it to another level. Beans with sausage pieces amazing.

Yelp
The ambiance and service at this cafeteria style Texas Barbecue are quintessential Texas. Down home good folks serving up heaping helpings of pretty decent food. And while they are decent, they are not great, especially when compared in what has become a pretty crowded and competitive fiend of barbecue restaurants. Like many others, they are also a bit pricey. My Brisket sandwich and 2 sides set me back a little over $18 before taxes. The dinner plates run up into the low to mid 20's per plate. The sides I chose were fried okra, which was pretty good and Southern Mustard Tater Salad which was ok. The star here to me though was what they call "Granny's Peach Cobbler"...it was everything it's name sets the stage for and more! This place is not the greatest barbecue restaurant around but it IS a must try for anyone wanted quintessential Texas Barbecue!

Yelp
Excellent BBQ! We've never had a bad meal at Mike Anderson's, or left hungry. I think we've tried all of their meats at one time or another and have been more than pleased. My wife is a big fan of the dill potato salad. Don't miss the soft serve ice cream!

Yelp
Can't decide what kind of meat to get then get it to meat hoagie sandwich. The best sides in the world great barbecue.
google avatar

Yelp
Good BBQ and sides, awesome setup of self serve sides. I tried some Brisket, Turkey and Jalapeño sausage. The brisket was good, not robust with flavor and smoke, but it was tender and tasty for those who like a little less smoke and salt. The turkey was pretty good and you can't mess up jalapeño cheddar sausage. I really liked Mike's jalapeño sauce, just the right amount of heat. Mike himself is very friendly and gives great customer service. I would definitely recommend stopping in for a great lunch!

Yelp
Bang average bbq, for a slightly higher price than what I expected. May have had something to do with the fact we came in 30 mins before closing, but the brisket was dry, the ruins were cold and the sides looked worse for wear.
google avatar

Yelp
I have only had their food one time and it was a delivery meal at work but I was impressed (would rate the takeout meal as a 4.5 but I'll round up)! My two sides were the stars of the show: I like that they seem to have sides that are combinations of foods: my pinto beans were jalapeno pinto beans with rice and brisket mixed in and it was almost a meal in itself. The green beans had ham and pieces of baked potato in them which I have never seen potatoes in green beans but everything was seasoned really well and I enjoyed it! Sausage sandwich was solidly good (not great) but the spicy BBQ sauce really helped raise it up. I can't wait to try more offerings and actually check it out in person.

Yelp
As a Dallasite since '85 I'm not sure how I missed this gem of a BBQ stop but hard to go anywhere other than Mike Anderson' now! Smoked Turkey: Moist! Brisket: Butter! Sausage: pork heaven! But if you haven't tried the cheesy corn bake or Texas Strawberries (smoked stuffed japs w/ brisket, blue cheese w/ a bacon hug) YOU HAVEN'T LIVED 8^) Also great for meetings with the booths in back. Keep on truckin' Mike!

Yelp
I watched the death of an old friend just now. I've worked in the medical district for 25 years and had many a lunch at Mike Anderson's BBQ with friends, my dad, and at other times myself. It is delicious bbq. Today, I came to Mike Anderson's for the first time since the start of the pandemic. It was sad. Mike was as friendly to customers as always, but the restaurant has gone way off the deep end in anti-science, anti-Biden and anti-media. His signs are void of class and decorum. His wall stickers are blaring admissions to not understanding science. Actually has signs about truly believing the world is flat. And anti-Fauci. Were this to be an internally held viewpoint that you "take to the polls and to Jesus", I wouldn't have an issue. But a large blaring sign showing disrespect to a President is so declasse that it infuses the whole experience of a nice bbq shop with the hate and lack of decorum. Bbq turned Nascar rally. Yeah, the meat is good but the whole visual optics and meaning of those optics has killed the joy that used to be this place. Good luck, Mike. You're wrong on the science but worse is the restaurant's lack of class. I'm going to miss what I remmber of this place before it died. I cannot bring my money here again.

Yelp
I must admit I haven't tried everything on the menu at Mike Anderson's, but what I have had has been really good Q. Fatty brisket was amazing, Ribs were perfect, and sides were delicious. MIke make's everyone feel right at home here, and his staff is always quick to take care of anything you need. While I know Mike has a great clientele, I am surprised at how many folks I talk to about barbecue, don't know anything about this place. In a way it's good cause it keeps the line down. LOL If you are looking for good Q, not a thing wrong with this place.

Yelp
It's unfortunate that the mostly recent and out of character one-star reviews many times have nothing to do with the quality of your BBQ and/or service. Eric S., for instance, says he enjoyed your place for 25 years--yet never once thought to give you a GOOD review--but just one month ago it all changed and he felt the need to provide a one-star rant? And Savannah... well... I've been to your place. If she saw a confederate flag hanging there, I think she was somewhere else? Or I'm losing my eyesight? Of all of Eric S's 10 reviews, 7 are one-star and just one is a five-star. Savannah's 32 reviews have 22 one-star and also just one five-star. That's probably all you need to know! i.e. your staff and customers are probably much happier without their presence! But enough about them! I've been to your place numerous times and have always had a great meal! The people working there including you, Mike, have always been nothing but nice to me and the prices are reasonable for the quality. You've catered my work events at least twice and everyone raved about your BBQ, including a group we had in from Brazil. In order to run a great BBQ joint you have to be a hard, dedicated worker. Thanks for the good job providing the DFW area with fantastic BBQ!

Yelp
You will smell Mike Anderson 's BBQ House before you see it. It smells absolutely amazing! I got the Pulled Pork Sandwich Plate where you can pick any two sides. I got Garlic & cheddar smashed taters and Cheezy corn bake with Paulino and onion. It was incredible. We were in a big party where everyone got lots of different items on the menu and everyone was extremely happy with everything they got. I also recommend their homemade sweet tea. Please note that it is only open from 10 am till 2:30 pm and there was a line the whole time we were there. If you are in Dallas and want BBQ for lunch, this is the place to go!
google avatar

Jeff H.

Yelp
Dayum! The BBQ is top notch...if you are close, run dot walk. Brisket is fantastic and the sides are very good. Highly recommend!

Michael G.

Yelp
Okay food. Brisket is tender and moist with decent smoke flavor. Chicken thighs were disappointing, kind of dry and mealy. The ribs were okay. Not a lot of flavor but good texture. Sides of green beans and slaw were good. I didn't care for the sauce, very thick with a lot of salt and vinegar flavor. Free ice cream cones. It was decent barbecue but not much different from any of the half dozen bbq places within a five mile radius. My major complaint is the decor. Sure Mike likes to push the "Texas Redneck" vibe but his latest additions go a bit too far. Now let me preface this by saying I'm a heterosexual White man who is 61 years old and a veteran, so I'm not some whiny pinko millennial whatever. Hell I'm this place's total demographic. But with signs everywhere saying "Socialism Sucks", "We won't comply", "Fake News", etc...and especially the large "Let's Go Brandon" sign behind the serving line just made this place feel like the Alt-Right lunchroom and I'm sure that's what Mike wants it to be. I'm sure this review has just inspired more of the "Trump Win the Election" folks to make a special visit. And that's fine. The restaurant is doing a brisk business at lunch, even a lot of People of Color, but I wonder what his largely Hispanic staff think knowing how their boss feels about them and their families?

Jimmy K.

Yelp
I'm glad Mike started smoking Turkeys for thanksgiving again. We went and picked up two. While we were there, Mike chopped us up some brisket and we devoured it alongside some bbq beans and devilish eggs. We don't hit this side of town as often as we like, but always support our based patriot establishment when we do! We love all of the decor. It's rustic and filled with slogans of American truth and American freedom. Thanks Mike! We will be back as soon as we can!

Pitt P.

Yelp
I think this is the best kept secret in Dallas BBQ! Excellent food Great prices for what you get Large quantities if you "go down the line" as you put as much on your plate as you want and not just a little bowl with basically a "snack"!
google avatar

STEVE B.

Yelp
Mike has been slinging BBQ for 38 years - You can almost always find him chopping meat and slinging sides on the food line - be sure to say hi - Great dude. The condiments station is crazy good with multiple sauces, pickles, jalapeños and other great stuff to go with your BBQ. We loved the moist turkey and chopped beef - great sides as well. Stop-in to Mike Anderson's and say hey to the boss. Great food!
google avatar

Yelp
What a great hole-in-the-wall joint. The meat is so juicy and tender. The sides and freaking awesome. And the staff are super friendly. This isn't a restaurant....this is home away from home. And Mike is always there to say hello.
google avatar

Yelp
Had turkey and pulled pork, sides much better than other BBQ joints. If you like you BBQ with a kick this is the place! Corn casserole with poblanos, Mike's spicy BBQ sauce is so good.

Yelp
I was in town for work and Mike Anderson's BBQ House was recommended for some really good BBQ. I was not disappointed! I am not from Texas, so I am no BBQ connoisseur, but loaded baked potatoes are my favorite food of all time. I loved my Monster BBQ potato topped with plenty of beef brisket. The brisket was juicy and tender and the ratio of cheese, sour cream, butter, onions was spot on. Some places skimp, but they don't here! The line was a little slow, but I think that was more because the large group of people in front of me took their time. It is cafeteria style where you grab your tray, utensils, order your meats and then serve yourself the sides, drinks, and desserts you want. When I ordered my potato with brisket, it was almost instantaneous when I got my food. I didn't get any sides as my potato was enough. There is a little condiment bar after you pay (they use Square and do have a rewards program, but I wasn't asked to participate) and they also have free soft serve ice cream! Overall, great experience and I'll definitely be back for another potato the next time I'm in town.

Yelp
Food was okay, but not the Mike Andersons I've come to know and love 1. Found 2 hairs in my food (obviously not mine as short and straight) 2. No soap in ladies restroom (REALLY?? DURING A PANDEMIC AND IN A FOOD SERVICES ESTABLISHMENT????) 3. Brisket was dry and overcooked After 15+ years of patronage, these were enough to male me not want to return.
google avatar

Clarie C.

Yelp
Today I had a barbecue urge. So a friend and I went to Mike Andersons Barbecue house. Wow what a great choice. The Chopped Beef was off the chain! My friend had the ribs , they were falling off the bone. This is one of Dallas great places to go. If you get the urge, don't hesitate. Mike's will fulfill your taste bud. Try it you will love it!
google avatar

Yelp
Still on the venture to find a favorite BBQ joint... Cute place, lots of comfy seating, and dining in during COVID-19. I ordered my standby chopped brisket sandwich with Cheesy Corn Bake. The brisket was flavorful and juicy. Good amount of smoke. The corn bake was okay. I've learned that buffet bbq sides aren't my thing...typically lukewarm. Might try cold sides in the future. My husband had the sliced brisket/pulled pork with green beans. He absolutely loved his plate of food!! Might be his favorite place we've tried. In my comparison for my favorite bbq, I should have ordered the pork ribs...which I will do on my next visit.

Yelp
Oh my goodness! Am I glad that I found this gem! We were in Dallas just for business and needed to eat. Found this on the map and as soon as we walked in we loved it! It's unique and it smelled wonderful! We were greeted by such a happy nice gentlemen behind the line counter chopping up some amazing smelling meat. Their sides were all amazing it was so hard to pick 2! I got the brisket sandwich with the bake with poblano peppers along with the fried okra.... first place I've been to here in Texas with fried okra YUM!! Their signature BBQ sauce is so good and thick! We are definitely going back when we are there again!

Yelp
Highly recommend Mike Anderson's BBQ. Best to date. ordered through grubhub today ahead of time order came on time. This barbecue place rocks. Ordered various items all outstanding and the family pack portions are huge. Ribs, sausage, hot links, bbq beans, peach cobbler, cucumber salad, chicken and all other items amazing and great taste. Our new and only place now for bbq. Outstanding

Yelp
Quality is back up: whatever they are doing it is working for me now! I truly enjoy their Frito Pie and Cornbread pie choices (with chopped beef).

Ann D.

Yelp
We ordered online from there and paid $30, there was very little food for the money and it was cold. I even got 10% off for downloading the app. I also paid $5 tip/$3 delivery charge, the restaurant is across from the hospital. I called and complained, Mike the owner said I do what I do and could have cared less. We ate in the restaurant just a few months ago and got the exact same plate/same money and there was twice the food. The cake was $4 for a tiny piece of cake. Mike said ya we've had to cut back on our cakes b/c things have gotten expensive. I was shocked the owner didn't care that a customer was not satisfied, why would he not take pride in his work? There were 3 bite sized pieces of sausage missing and a pickle from the picture. We ordered the 3 meats/2 sides and added the cake.
google avatar

Carl H.

Yelp
We all have our likes when it comes to BBQ (Texas, Carolina, St. Louis, Kansas...) which is then influenced by who's the cook. I've eaten BBQ from Mexico to Kansas City, KC to Spain and everywhere in between and Mike's is hands down the best BBQ I've ever tasted. From competition BBQ's, chain restaurant's, and hole-in-the-wall places Mike brings a flare not only with flavor but with selections and service. Try the brisket, the ribs, the pulled pork... but make sure someone in your group orders a "Spudzilla." Hell, add one to the table as an appetizer. The only disappointed your group will have is that it's more than you can handle in one sitting. Thank God for to go boxes! Ensure you strike up a conversation with Mike as he makes your plate. Yep, that guy cutting meat and slinging plates is the man!
google avatar

Just K.

Yelp
Food is good but it would go down a lot easier without all of the political propaganda.
google avatar

Noah R.

Yelp
I've been coming here for about 5 years now. Mike is always there on the line with his employees, smiling and greeting everyone. My favorites are the loaded Spudzilla with chopped brisket and the brisket stuffed jalapeños. The jalapeños go quickly so I recommend not waiting until the end of the day!

Savannah S.

Yelp
Wow. The manager called me a troll. I expect that from an establishment that sells food that taste like it was wrapped in sweaty gym shorts. Look, I only tried your spot because I was in a hotel due to a flood in my home and the insurance company reimbursed me. I decided to try different places that I hadn't frequented before. I can assure you that I'm not a troll and I certainly hope your emotional response isn't a representation of your management style. Real talk, your food is garbage and again, it's VERY DIFFICULT to disappoint me with food.

Craig C.

Yelp
I have been going here to eat for years. Their food is some of the best around! Their brisket is super moist and always good. Their bbq beans and fried okra are also awesome! I noticed some of the reviews are not based on Mike's awesome bbq but have been negative based on his political views and decor. I go for the bbq and not his decor! You should too.

Yelp
When I come to Texas, I eat BBQ - because what we have at home just isn't...BBQ. So, I was somewhat nearby and this place popped up and I thought "Why not? This place has not only generally good reviews but it's also it's in the Medical District in case I have a heart attack and/or meat induced stroke". Win/win, right? So I got there early (11am) because reviews said it's a madhouse after 11:15 and sho nuff, at exactly 11:15, the line went out the door. Also, they open at 10am which seems quite early for a meat coma, but you do you, Texas. I opted for the plate which gives you up to 3 meats and 2 sides and is a mighty amount of food for $15. I'm a simple soul so I opted for just turkey and brisket, fearing that an additional meat choice might be too much. BBQ turkey is one of the many things I love about Texas (that and ready and immediate access to ice tea at all times) and MA's did not disappoint - no need for sauce. The brisket was the real winner though - super lean but juicy and smoky. So, I don't know if it's "normal" to go down a cafeteria line and pile up your own sides but that is what you do here. I chose cheese potatoes (fuck yes) and deviled eggs. Can we pause for a moment? I have never seen deviled eggs as a side option elsewhere but aside from my mom's these are possibly the best eggs ever. Piled high, loaded with ham and pickles - why is this not a thing elsewhere? Other sides include varied salads and veggies plus cobblers and puddings. Because all this is not gluttony enough, there's a relish bar (for what!!) and a soft serve machine. Jesus Christ, Texas. Anyway, the people here are really nice. The food was great. I'm glad I was near a major medical center or two when consuming this bounty.

Tierra W.

Yelp
All I can say is this is the BEST place to get BBQ from everything is delicious. Every single time I go here they never disappoint me. The service is just as good as the BBQ as well. I am a forever Customer and I have recommended this place to everyone I know!!!! If you haven't tried them I highly suggest that you do, you will not be disappointed.

Yelp
Tried the rib sandwich... I don't know what kinda wood they use to smoke their meat with but it had an odd taste to me.. and the bbq sauce wasn't pleasant at all glad I didn't get it put on my sandwich...

Yelp
When I think Texas BBQ, this is what I see, smell and want to taste. $15 plate is all you need *Sliced brisket- succulent without being fatty wet. Not the most smoky in town but possibly the best. *Jalapeño cheddar link- cheesy with low heat. This is one weiner that's family friendly. *Pork rib-charred flavor come through and that's not something I like. They are tender where the bone pulls right out of the meat. Good job but not for me. BBQ beans- sweet and tangy the way I like it Patio salad- mustard goodness Jalapeño BBQ sauce Texas toast Unsweet tea Simple, smoked meats, delicious sides and all smiles for the right price. Room for around 150 and they can pack'm in. Divey? Sure. It's Harry Hines. But also it's that, small, East Texas, home town feel I get when I walk in the dinning hall. Yelp
Greatest brisket I have ever had in my entire life! No exaggeration! I ate here 9 years ago, and it was so good, the name continued to resonate with me these past 9 years- we came all the way from NJ to indulge ourselves in the magical MA experience. We have eaten at other BBQ places in Dallas, and nothing else even comes close in my opinion.

Yelp
delicious BBQ. Brisket was great, cheesy corn bake thing was yummy, and overall I ate way too much but it was so good. Original beans were blah but everything else was delicious!

Yelp
I visit Mike's place near every other Saturday and the food offerings are always on point including the sides. I believe in my previous review I said that the garlic/cheese mashed potatoes weren't to my liking but I've gotta say they've really grown on me. They're now one of my favorite sides. On a side note: to those who may have read "Savannah's" review saying the she's "almost positive" she saw a Confederate flag just inside the entrance. Well I'm am certain that she's wrong. There are several Texas flags inside Mike's place but I can say with confidence that I've never seen a Confederate flag. Frankly I find it absolutely disgusting that an individual would make such an accusation about a business without being completely confident (almost positive doesn't cut it) that they were correct and even posting proof. Take a look at interior photos posted...do you see a C flag? I've attached a copy of an existing photo from near the front door. All I see is a Texas flag right in your face as soon as you walk in...thanks for loving the great state of Texas Mike! Maybe she doesn't know the difference. I mean if she really thought she saw the C flag why wouldn't she walk out in protest? Why wouldn't she take a pic to post as proof? I can tell you why...because it's all fake. Look at her review history and you'll see that she has a history of making inflammatory accusations.

Yelp
ATMOSPHERE - 4 Cute place, lots of comfy seating, and dining in during COVID-19. FACILITY - 4 The restaurant the standard buffet line style of getting your food. Brisket cut right from the slab. You can smell the food from the parking lot. INSIDE - 4 The interior was clean, sleek and cozy all at the same time. They have booths plus regular table seating as well. OUTSIDE - 4 No Outside seating here. SERVICE - 4 Service was very good, attentive, Friendly, and efficient without being overbearing. There's nothing worse than being ignored or hovered over. Their team of servers & bussers got it just right. FOOD - 5 The plate that I ordered had brisket, and pulled pork. On the brisket, the bark was supreme. The brisket was flavorful and juicy. The best I have seen and tasted in some time. The flavor of the slow cook and smoke was absolutely established within this meat. Same with the pulled pork. The meat was absolutely delicious. The beans were flavorful. STAFF - 5 Friendly and very nice. Each person we encountered was super. SUMMARY Fresh dependable menu items served by friendly staff. I had good service and great food. Definitely a good spot for BBQ. Overall very happy with the service and meal. ==== Atmosphere: 4 // Facility: 4 // Inside: 4 // Outside:4 // Service: 4 // Food: 5 // Staff: 5 // Price: 4

Yelp
While Visiting from Chicago I was recommended this place. Great aroma as you you pull into the lot and the vibe and decor you would desire from a authentic bbq experience. We ordered the combo platter ordering the brisket, ribs and pulled pork. Mike himself was at the counter to cut our slice of brisket fresh. The brisket was moist with an excellent pink smoke ring, the pulled pork was perfectly cooked and seasoned and the ribs had the right amount of pull with still being fall off bone tender. Now to the I've seen some places lack on their sides and focus on their meats, but I could tell or at least believe they were made in house and attention to detail was made to each item. If your looking for an authentic Dallas BBQ experience I would recommend stopping in.
