I've been wanting to support this business for so long. I was finally in the area of one of the shops and decided to go in. As soon as you open the door you smell this delectable aroma. I felt like I was almost in a trance. The customer service we received was excellent. The staff greeted us and answered the questions we had. You’re also able to sample the flavors. I appreciate the menu posted throughout the store as I was unsure which flavor to try. I ordered the Southern Hospitality on a sugar cone and my daughter ordered the Dough Boy and Cookie Jar on a waffle cone. Let me tell you it was love at first lick. This ice cream is absolutely delicious. The cones were also really fresh. They even have vegan ice cream options. They stores accepts cash and/or card. I've been raving about Mikey's ever since I can't wait to return. There are also several other locations throughout the. city. A plus is this is a Black Owned Business. I love to support any chance I get. I highly recommend you try Mikey Likes It Ice Cream, I guarantee you won’t be disappointed. Best Ice Cream EVER!

Love ice cream & want to support a local Black-Owned business in Harlem? Mikey Likes It Ice Cream is where you need to go! They actually have a few locations, but I like the Harlem one the most! The staff was very friendly & answered any questions we had about flavors + let us sample because we couldn’t decide! The decor is pretty cool & you can also purchase merchandise! You must try the waffle ice cream sandwich! Homemade & so so good! The owner also makes random visits to the locations he happened to come by that day which was very cool! Visit today!

Black owned ice cream shop that has delicious ice cream and waffle sandwiches. The staff is friendly and down the earth. The shop is bright and decorated with black art. I had the southern hospitality ice cream with the red velvet waffle. It honestly was the best ice cream I've had in a long time.

Mikey Likes It is a welcomed addition to the neighborhood. Nostalgia meets delicious scoops of ice cream made with locally source ingredients. The portions are huge. I had scoops of Pink Floyd and Dough boy. In addition to their great selection, they also have 2 season flavors and a flavor of the month. Vegan flavors are available. The staff was very friendly, greeting me as I entered and were eager to help me to samples before I purchased. I will be returning to try a Mac Daddy, their signature waffle ice cream sandwich.

Met the owner Mikey in the store who was sweet and gave a thorough breakdown of the menu. They have vegan icecream and shakes and offer soy and almond milk. They encourage sampling also. I ordered the flavor of the month which was in tribute to Dr.Sebi. It was Hibiscus with pineapple chunks and cayenne swirl. A M A Z I N G! It didn't even make it home. I've been here several times, and consider it a gem in the community.

Had a scoop of the flavor of the month, "The Revolution" and absolutely devoured it! It was SO delicious and tasted like those "Lemonades" Girl Scout cookies, but with strawberry lemonade. I also purchased a pint of the previous flavor of the month "Bad But Beautiful," and I honestly could've eaten the entire thing myself! It tasted like an apple fritter became ice cream 🤤 Last but not least, my bf really enjoyed the Brady Bunch flavor, which was double banana pudding with lots of Nilla wafers. Love coming to Mikey's to support an old friend, and will be coming more often now that he's in Harlem!
