We definitely enjoyed the flavor of the pizza! We had the cheese, the pepperoni, and the oldstyle pepperoni kind, sorry I don't know the name. And the cheese bread was delicious also! They have what my fiance and I agree to be the best garlic butter sauce! And the Spicy Unicorn sauce was good also. For our first time having it, we were very impressed. The portions are big and the price is a little high, but it's well worth it, for the flavor!

Google
First of all didn’t know this location existed, so that was a great find! Second, we ended up there on a karaoke night (Friday), so yay! The interior was very nice, with swings and plenty of table tops. The bartender was super chill and attentive. We ended up getting the pizza of the week (the cheezus crunch supreme) and it did not disappoint, as usual!

The pizza was soooo good and there was live music. The atmosphere with the murals and the turf make it a really cool little place to chill. Only complaint was we had to clean our own table. Maybe the staff was on break. I would definitely come back when in town.

I wish there were stickers or coasters for sale!!! I’d love to remember my travels here and complete my travel sticker table.

Good pizza, good drinks, fun vibe - love the outdoor space.

We go here 3 times a year because the pizza is so good. But we've had issues each of those times over the last 2 years. The pizza is so good and heats up well, but if you order a whole pie it's unrealistic to wait near the counter so you go to sit down, and in my case I've never heard our name or pizza typed called when it was done. Instead, we've waited for up to an hour and a half at the bar, just to break down and ask "we ordered our pizza a while ago, we are looking to see what the progress is like" just to be told our pizza was sitting on top of the oven and is now cold. This last time we ordered it online, with an hour wait time, fair, once again this pizza is so tasty. I arrive 30 minutes after I ordered, then Sit and wait for the email that the pizza is done and ready to pick up. 2 couples were there and one person comes in to pick up an order, not exactly busy. At exactly 1 hour after ordering I go up to the counter and ask about my order, the guy at grabs a box from the top of the oven and presses a button on the order screen and hands me my order, it's cold, on the way out I received an email, my order is ready for pick up. I just want a hot fresh mikey's one time, dear god.

Google
The best pizza. Delicious taste, perfectly made ‘vegan buffalo chicken’. It is bit expensive than any other pizza but totally worth it. It is a small truck with an open patio seating. Great host.

Did hours of operation change at this location? Came in at 7:40 pm for a slice on friday night and the food trailer was closed, came back around 9 and they were open. If so please update business hours. Parking is a nightmare here, and it’s hard to get a spot the first time let alone come back and do it again.

Yelp
We were recommended to go here by a staff member at our hotel. We wandered in very late , around 1am and were greeted by Maddison. They were extremely energetic for it being 1am on a Sunday, super helpful answering our questions. We had a lot for it simply being us ordering a slice but they remained nice and upbeat. We ended up sitting at the bar and were greeted by Ben.. benjamin without the Jamin as he said. He was super quick to help us and was so fun to talk to and hear about what goes on in Columbus. He made sure to check in periodically. Over all they were both great, the pizza was really good! And it seemed like a cool spot to hangout. 10/10 would recommend and be back.

Yelp
Both female bartenderesses were beyond drunk (and if not drunk something worse) behind the bar at the speakeasy at the Short North location. For the owners, I asked for a double of rabbit hole Rye neat. I got a quadruple of rabbit hole rye on the rocks for the price of a double. It took 20 minutes to receive that drink because both of your bartenderesses left immediately after my order to do drugs in the bathroom. I have supported this business for YEARS and now I don't think I ever want to come back. Both bartenderesses that served there on the night of February 22nd 2025 should be fired. If I walk into that location and see either of them ever again behind the bar, I am never spending money in any of your locations ever again. If I was the owner I would be embarrassed to have either of them represent me.

Mark R.

Yelp
For good pizza I would not come here. The scene is cool, though the signs of drunken college kids abound (I.e. watch where you step!)... service was super nice.

Eve R.

Yelp
I don't care what anybody says. Mikey's is a solid slice. Gone are the days of a cheap slice and curb sittin but I won't complain because it's fun and quick and the mushroom is as good now as it was way back when. I do wish it wasn't so expensive now, hence the -1 star. The astroturf and new covered seating is nice though!

Jessica O.

Yelp
Ok, I'm from NY and I have a pizza tattoo so I take pizza seriously. It was recommended that I visit this establishment and to my surprise it was....not bad. I ordered online and it was a little confusing where to go to pick up my slice but the bartender pointed me in the correct direction. The size of the slice and the texture were good. My gripe with the pizza flavor, which was not terrible, is that it seems like they use some type of "pizza seasoning" that I found a little too salty and overly aggressive with the amount on that was on my slice. If it was a tad less, I might have given a slice of pizza from Ohio *gasp* a 5 star rating.

Ariana G.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious! A trailer located a bit back from the street serving hot slices of pizza for all of your late night cravings. The pizza itself was delicious and they have a lot of sauce options. The service was fast & friendly, but unfortunately they did not have many pizza options left when we arrived. They were down to just cheese & pepperoni which is good, but if they specialize in late night food I expected more options. It was also a tad bit pricey at $11.75 for 2 slices. That being said it's still good and worth your time if you're craving a slice!

Yelp
MLN saved our butts! From one hospitality professional to another, I want to thank the team at Mikey's Downtown Columbus for being helpful, positive and freaking FAST. We scheduled a local food truck to cater our company picnic for our team members and their families so that our team wouldn't have to cook for a change. An employee of the food truck cancelled VIA TEXT two and half hours before our 100 person gathering with no back-up plan or apology. We called Mikey's and they pushed out 25 perfect, hot, delicious pizzas with a fantastic attitude, in time to save the day. We could not be more grateful. And the pizza was, of course, awesome! One of our core values as at Together & Company is Do What It Takes...Mikey's did that for us and it meant the world. Thanks!

Ashton m.

Yelp
Unreal classic NY slice. Great crisp and no flop. Love this spot. I would recommend this to anyone to grab a nice drink too. Bartender was super cool and they have great deals. Inside has a nice vibe too. I would definitely come back for a football game or something

John C.

Yelp
So I travel alot and I try pizza all over the place and this is by far the best slice I ever had. It has a good vibe and the staff was very friendly the best slice I had in a while beside begin born in Brooklyn good job.

renee p.

Yelp
The pizza was hot and crispy. But really our night was really made with by our outatanding bartender, Madison! Kudos to Mike's Late Night Slice for hiring such excellent staff.

Amy W.

Yelp
THANK YOU, Mikey's Downtown Columbus, for being helpful, positive and fast. We had a company picnic scheduled and a local food truck for our catering needs for our team members and their families so that all of our team members could enjoy and not have to cook or server the food. An employee of the food truck cancelled VIA TEXT two and half hours before our 100-person gathering with no back-up plan or apology. We called Mikey's and they pushed out 25 plus perfect, hot, delicious pizzas, along with bottles of their fabulous sauces, plates, napkins, and a fantastic attitude, in time to save the day. We could not be more grateful. And the pizza was, of course, awesome! We are so grateful for the help that MLN did for our company. Thanks!

Yelp
Still embracing underdog status despite growing from a 2009 Food Truck into eight locations stretching to Cincinnati Mikey's Late Night Slice has cemented itself as central Ohio's Street Food of choice, the original shack in a parking lot south of Bodega opening at 4 o'clock daily and serving slices or whole pies till two or three am. Achieving its stated mission to "maintain a culture based around raving fans, dedicated employees and quality Food" throughout the pandemic, though staffing remains a challenge, Late Night Slice offers a fairly concise menu focused on New York Style Pizza heated to-order, $6.80 to $7.14 admittedly steep even for those with global experience. Irreverent without apology, specials such as "Fiery Death w/ Hate Sausage" part of co-owner Jason Biundo's repertoire, guests can expect crisp Crust that folds without breaking beneath fairly basic Cheese and Sauce plus additions including Pepperoni, Mushrooms and more that will all be benefited by a sidecar of "Unicorn Sauce."

Joe R.

Yelp
Awful and awfully expensive... home of the soggy flop. ordered a few toppings and they were never added. Nice that they are open late and have dairy free cheese, but NO thank you!!

Lauren L.

Yelp
For 2 am pizza, you could certainly do worse! We ordered via Uber Eats. My vegan wings with Nashville-style hot sauce arrived less crispy than I'd like, but so it goes with delivery. The flavor was there, and I really liked my mushroom slice too. Lots of herbs, which was nice and different than I'm used to. My husband says the pepperoni slices were good. We both agreed the garlic cheesy bread kinda sucked.

Megan C.

Yelp
I love stopping by Mikey's Late Night Slice after a night out in the short north! It's one of the few late night food options and has a fun atmosphere, and the service is quick! I always enjoy my pizza and love the dipping sauces.

Barry M.

Yelp
A staple. Pizza of the week has never disappointed. The one by the convention center - make sure you use the restroom for a fun walk back up.

Dashaun W.

Yelp
Was in town for a bachelor party and with a name like Mike's Late Night Slice, you know that have late night food. I understood fully that this was not only a pizza place, open late in a bar area and near OSU's campus, so my expectations were super low. Unfortunately they were low enough. The two star review has nothing to do with the fact that I waited 50 mins in line for a slice of cheese but I do feel that it needs to be stated. $4 for a slice of cheese pizza, and I can't emphasize this enough, I would've been more pleased eating the four dollars I paid. I give this pizza a 1.7. I would've been better off with a hot pocket or even a lunchable.

Mark F.

Yelp
Fine for a late night slice when nothing else is available. Crust center was slightly doughy. Was basically a food truck.

Kalah Rae F.

Yelp
Most Columbus peeps love Late Night Slice. It's a locally owned biz with lots of good intention and multiple locations to enjoy-- you may even catch one of their food trucks at a local festival. Late Night Slice first gained notoriety in the late night food scene for its famous Slut Sauce. Yep-- that's what it's called. It's meant for slathering or dipping and it's gluttonous and delicious. I went to Ohio State and lived on North Campus, and the location on Duncan was always a favorite place to hit for post-bar munchies. They have rotating specials of unique varieties, and I normally went straight for those in the day. My favorite is the Cheezes or Baby Cheezeus (lol). It's either a single slice cut and half or two slices sandwiched together with extra melted cheese in the middle. YUM! The baby cheezus is plenty for one person if it's just a late night snack, but the bigger size is a full meal. Bonus: This pizza shop is Latinx-owned so it's a great place to support for Latinx heritage month this month, or basically whenever you're hungry!

Ya Y.

Yelp
I got the pizza of the week - Buffalo chicken Mac, along with two other regular flavors - pepperoni and garlic mushroom. The restaurant was very empty, so I directly ate in the store. I liked all three flavors and enjoyed the dough texture. The price was reasonable and the staff were very friendly.

LaDiamond E.

Yelp
Absolutely not. My husband and I ordered this late night and it was unappealing. The pizza slices are greasy and cold. It was packaged between two paper plates which were soaked with grease. I ordered cheesy bread which lacked any kind of flavor. The only reason I am giving two stars is because my husband enjoyed the vegan wings. I would not return.

Scott Z.

Yelp
Ate here last Saturday night. We were, quite honestly, just looking for a place that was open where we could get a beer and some food. The pizza was a bit dry and not very hot. Barely warm. They weren't too busy due to seating restrictions, maybe that's why? I'm sure that it's tough figuring out how much to have prepared these days. But I need to be honest with my review. It just wasn't great pizza, at least on this night. The ranch sauce was good!

Kelly C.

Yelp
Got a whole pizza tonight. There was no sauce and no fresh mozzarella. Do they use Kraft shaker bottels of immitation mozza? This must be popular as drunk food because I cannot believe sober people would ever eat this garbage.

Syndra' J.

Yelp
Mauricio, Faith, Nuri, Mike are a FUCKING amazing! They are so sweet and they so kind hearted love them! Please come visit!!!!!

Jason W.

Yelp
We've been buddies with Mikey's & their crew since we set up our shop almost 9yrs back now. Mikey's have provided an extra room at their 4th Street location for our business meetings for free. Jason B has often given my crew free pizza cards. We've even partnered with them for a commercial! Their pizza has always been consistent & the staff have always been friendly & attentive to us. A great restaurant! Get your face in the place

Sarah G.

Yelp
LANCE IS THE MAN! He provided fast service and the best pizza in Columbus! And can't forget about the beautiful new patio

Luo C.

Yelp
Very expensive for a basic slice of pizza. The flavor and the sauce is nice and savory with a nice tang. The cheese is nice and stretchy with a solid kick with the spice. So the pizza is good but not the best I've had in Columbus and the pricing isn't the best the value of the slice makes me wishing I could get more. Still not a bad place to go with friends after a night of drinking and if you want something fast as long as there isn't too many people

El J.

Yelp
Traveled to Columbus for the weekend wasn't a lot of food options where we were. Saw thus plays and gave it a try. We purchased expired unicorn bars expired unicorn spicy sauce. And could only order one slice and some cheese bread after standing in line for 45 minutes. Would not suggest to anyone.

Brandon W.

Yelp
What a GROSS staff of employees and a joke of a "security staff". Not only did the staff laugh at us When we were standing outside in the snow but also having the security woman Walk to the door and circle with her fingers... in the warmth that they can "close at anytime". We stood outside after walking 15 minutes minutes in below freezing temps after calling to ensure they were open to find out the staff decided to close early and left a door dash delivery man with a paid order and us outside. Not a cool way to end your night.

Angela B.

Yelp
Very friendly employees and good pizza! It's nice to see he has expanded and is in the casino now. I had to get some just for old time sake and wasn't disappointed.

Antora S.

Yelp
If you are a fan of thin slice pizza, then you will like Mikey's Late Night Slice. Ordered a slice of cheese pizza and it was cheesy, greasy with crisps dough, just the way I like it. Also ordered a slice of the "pizza of the week" with pesto sauce, which was good too. The staffs were really friendly and they have a nice outdoor seating area. It can get difficult to find parking, but if you do get lucky and find parking, then you should stop by and get a slice.

Steve A.

Yelp
Mikey's Late Night Slice is one of the most famous local brands. It's great to support the local economy. This is a delicious way to do it. It has multiple locations and they're all good. This one is the original and has flavors you can't get at other ones. If you're looking for something to eat after binging in the Short North, it's a good place to come. It's located next to Oddfellows. That's among my favorite bars so this is somewhere I go to a lot. It can be reached from the sidewalk, or there's a door in the bar that opens into the courtyard where the truck is. This makes it convenient to move between the two. As for the menu it has pizza by the slice, individual pies, and full size pies. There's a vegan personal size. It's about $8 which is pretty great. This comes with vegan sausage. It's spicy and goes good after several beers. The courtyard has several tables you can sit at with your drinks and pizza. I would recommend to visit Mikey's at the first location. It has the best atmosphere. They also have the biggest menu and they're open all year.

Jackie X.

Yelp
This restaurant is situated in the perfect spot for a late night slice. It's around many of the Short North bars and is on the way home to Ohio State's campus (perfect for college students who don't want to stray too far). I always love to come here after the bars close to get one or two slices for $4.50 each, they're always big, fresh, and delicious! Sometimes there's a line, but they whip the pizzas out pretty fast. I also love to get their unicorn sauce, garlic sauce, and ranch and mix them all together. The unicorn sauce is magical Another magical thing is the little courtyard the food truck is situated in, it's whimsically decorated and has plenty of seating. For a courtyard, it's pretty spacious and good for groups. It's also attached to a building where the bar is! Definitely recommend this place as a snack to sober up (I know this isn't necessarily accurate but you get what I mean). It puts something hot and yummy in your belly and lets you leave full and satisfied (even better when you're drunk).

Yelp
10-27-2020 Bought a pizza from them last week for $27 and it was terrible! The pizza tasted and looked like it was under a heating lamp for 3-4hrs before they gave it to me. Maybe having a bad night so I tried again tonight thinking it would be better. Was I dead wrong!!! The pizza slice Tasted and looked like it was under a heated lamp again! I got cheesy breadsticks and it literally looked like someone melted a lot of cheese in a bowl then just plopped it on the breadsticks! The cheese peeled off in one giant clump leaving the breadsticks bare, saturated with oil and soggy!! NEVER ORDER FROM THIS PLACE! WAY OVER PRICED AND TERRIBLE FOOD!!

Taylor T.

Yelp
Great pizza, especially after a night out. The pizza is what I would consider thin crust yet has a pretty decent amount of crust around the edges (the sauce doesn't go all the way to the end). The slices are large, and honestly I think just your general pepperoni is the way to go. Dipping sauces are obviously a must. I tried the cheesy bread for the first time and it's delicious as well! I do agree that the pizza is pricey for what it is, but it's definitely a staple in Columbus and has the demand to be pricier. While it's not my go to I wouldn't pass it up if I were out and had a couple beverages. Also, I do agree with other reviews that this pizza is worse when ordered through a delivery service. If you're going that route I would opt for another place.

Amber H.

Yelp
When i visited Columbus which was like twice a month the first thing i wanted to go when i go off the plane was come here. Once i moved to to colombus this is all i wanted after i night of drink and dancing. Top 2 slices is the Mac and cheese slice and their pepperoni. They are pretty price at $4.50 a slice but their pizza is really really tasty. They even have sauces you can get on the side free of charge and it enhances the taste. My person favorite is the garlic sauce. They are so good i even eat the crust which is something i never do. The crust has a nice garlic butter taste to it. There is multiple locations. Would i come back? Yes. Worth the money? Yes

Kerri L.

Yelp
Stopped by to try the special Cincinnati Chili slice and introduce my fella to this local pizza. He liked the pepperoni most and while the special was fun and different I still like the classic cheese with fresh basil.

Cal DoAn P.

Yelp
4 stars is underrated... this is closer to 5 The pizza dough is really good. Pizza by the slice is the way to go to try different slices. Plenty of outdoor seating and open late

Arianna S.

Yelp
Shout out to the man working the window tonight. You're accomplishing the most basic at a poor level and a slow pace. You all are seemingly so busy making a ton of pizza you never put through the window. I waited 5 minutes to order at the window. Not in line. Just getting to order. Basic customer service I get the order in ASAP and set an accurate wait time. You to me a few minutes. It's been 20. You don't have a safe separate space for delivery drivers to wait. I felt uncomfortable too close to them. And to this moment I have no idea how you didn't actually call out my name for my burnt slice to be picked up. What are the other two men in the truck even doing. Pizzas don't take that log to prep for bake. You're turning out slow. Go home. Sleep it off. Come back tomorrow ready to actually deliver basically decent service. If it were actually good pizza you'd have some wiggle room. It's not. It's basically decent. Achieve the same standard.

David H.

Yelp
Terrible. They take your order and your money then decline delivery. Make you jump through hoops to get a refund. they insulate themselves with 3rd party vendors like ChowNow or doordash. It's basically criminal behavior.

Dan B.

Yelp
Been coming to Late Night Slice for Years. OTE is now my favorite location. The staff is always very nice and quick to serve my friends and myself. Just picked up 5 whole Pies for my staff at Noon and they are still talking about it 3 hours later. THANK YOU to everyone there!

Courtney P.

Yelp
This place has a good reputation around Columbus so I've been meaning to give it a shot for some time now. I'm pleased to say that it did not disappoint! The employees were very friendly and the pizza was ready perfectly on time for pickup. My sister and I opted for the plain-ass pepperoni, which was cut into generously-sized slices. Was it slightly greasy? Yes, but not overly so. The quality of the food really did shine through and I felt that the thinness of the crust balanced really well with the amount of cheese and toppings. As pizza lovers, we enjoy all varieties and this hit the spot! If you are not a fan of large NY style slices, this place is not for you. However, if your craving straight up simplistic pizza, you'll love this place.

Joe C.

Yelp
Not sure how some people love this pizza so much. I can possibly see how people enjoy it at 2am after they have been drinking all night (since anything would taste good at that point). The crust is decent, but the overall flavor of the sauce and toppings definitely isn't anything special. I don't plan on having it again for lunch.

Chris R.

Yelp
Pizza was made early and warmed up. Greasy is an under statement. To top it off, staff move at a snails pace and wait times are long. It's a shame it's the only food option that late. If Dirty Frank's was open, I'd choose them every time.

Jill O.

Yelp
This is seriously some of the best pizza I have ever had in my life. The food truck was one of a couple at Riot Fest in Chicago this year. The lines for all of them (but the vegan one anyway) were insane, so we were torn on what to get. That is, until we kept seeing these massive slices of pizza walking past, and then the idea of eating anything but pizza seemed stupid. So we got in line and waited for our slices. It was totally worth the wait. We paid $5 per slice, which is ridiculously cheap in the land of concerts where everything is up-charged (including pop at Mikey's, which was $4. We passed on that.) We both opted for slices of pepperoni. Each slice is bigger than a human infant. You think, at first, "Wow, I will never eat all that". And then your plate is empty and you're angry because the band you want to see is playing in ten minutes and you can't wait in line to spend all your money on pizza. More importantly, it's massive and GOOD. It is a big slice of GOOD pizza. The cheese was brown, the crust was bubbly. It was well seasoned and cooked well and greasy and hot and I am making myself want more of it. You've got to love any place that offers pumps of ranch, garlic butter, hot sauce, and mystery sauce on their condiment table. Any place that encourages me to cover my pizza in an unholy amount of ranch dressing is a friend of mine. I am utterly devastated that this place is in Ohio, since I am in Illinois. But if I am ever on a roadtrip in the middle of the night in Ohio, you bet your sweet ass that I am stalking this truck and buying as many pizzas as I can manage.

Matt P.

Yelp
Every college in America seems to have that one bite. That one piece to solve the never-ending quest for late-night drunken eats. And as Mikey's name touts, the slices are better received during post-beer craving. The surrounding bars in the area make stumbling into this place an ease. The popular Cheezus Crust is not revolutionary, but tastes better after every bite (and subsequent burp thereafter)

Amanda W.

Yelp
Follow your nose to great pizza by the slice or by the pie! Yum yum we tried the classic cheese and a garlic mushroom and were happy to return for 2nds! If your hoping for the best slices in town this is your stop.

Max M.

Yelp
I have spent a lot of nights grabbing Mikey's on the way home from being out. The pizza is great and the dipping sauces are a nice compliment. This review is specifically for delivery through a meal delivery service. You can tell the pizza is made quickly and without care, and I'm sure the meal delivery service aspect has a lot to do with that. The pizza I had delivered was a significant amount of crust. I've posted a picture as well...but for $22 the pizza shouldn't be 40% crust. More than disappointing. Stick with Adriaticos if you want good delivery pizza.

Andrew M.

Yelp
Pizza was pretty good, ordered delivery and it came ahead of the time promised but was not hot. Would not order delivery again but would probably try carryout
