The restaurant is super cute and the service is friendly and attentive. The food was good, the portions are huge. The ceviche was one of the better ones I have had, though I wish it came with chips. The empanada sampler was so good! The Peruvian chicken was outstanding.

Hi!! I wanted to come on here and leave my most honest and heartfelt review. I am so, so happy and over the moon with my most recent dinner at Mikhuy. We celebrated our wedding civil ceremony dinner here, and everything was absolutely perfect. A huge thank you to Lina for the beautiful decorations, her incredible attention to detail, and the genuine care she puts into everything she does. My husband and I have been coming here since we first met (a little over two years ago), and we have always received the warmest, most attentive service. Lina is truly one of the sweetest human beings I’ve ever met. I’ve also dined here with my sister-in-law and sister, and Lina always treats us with the same kindness—making sure we’re enjoying both our meal and our time there. My siblings and parents absolutely love the food as well. I even order from Uber Eats, and it never disappoints—everything is always fresh and delicious. Their leche de tigre and arroz chaufa are my go-to dishes (and their rotisserie chicken is amazing too!). ALSO, their chicha morada pisco sour is my husband and I’s favorite !!! Love their drinks! I couldn’t be happier with the attention, ambiance, service, and delivery. I will forever cherish the memory of our wedding dinner here. Thank you to Lina and the entire staff for making our night so special. My family and I are truly grateful and so happy with your service. We will definitely be back soon. XOXO

We couldn’t have chosen a better place to host our wedding. This Peruvian restaurant exceeded all of our expectations from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious full of flavor, fresh, and beautifully prepared. The arroz chaufa and leche de tigre were huge highlights of the night and had our guests coming back for more. What truly made the experience unforgettable was Lina. She was an incredible hostess warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. She made sure everything ran smoothly and made us feel so welcomed and supported on such an important day. We’re beyond grateful for the amazing food, outstanding service, and unforgettable memories. Highly recommend this place for both special occasions and everyday dining!

This place is so beautiful, it’s such a pretty sight to walk into, it’s a decent sized restaurant. They have a great playlist , but the star of the show was the food , it was so flavorful , well cooked ; and definitely a big reason for me planning my next trip back. The portion sizes are really good , we split all the food for 3 people. Affordable , friendly staff and amazing eats, what more could you ask for ?

I started eating before I remembered to take a photo, but the food was delicious! I had the roasted chicken with rice and beans, and my daughter enjoyed the steak with rice, beans, and plantains. The service was quick, and the restaurant was clean and inviting. Carlos, our server, was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and efficient. I will definitely be visiting often!

We ordered 2 dishes and desert today. The service at beginning is very lovely however everything changes after we found a hair in one of the dishes. The service people start to say “ this is a black hair I don’t have a black hair “ and when we ask about could we have discounts on that particular dish with hair she start to turn black face. Even though the restaurant gives us a free cake as an apologies but because of the service people are having a very bad attitude afterwards, it makes us feel very uncomfortable. I think is restaurants responsibly to keep hair out of the dishes rather than being upset about clients found hair inside a dish. This is not professional and we won’t be here again.

Perfect food. The ceviche, especially, was spectacular. The service was also very warm and friendly. So happy we stopped by for dinner. Will definitely be back.

Wow.. I had the arroz mariscos and it was AMAZING. We also got the leche de tigre and it was so good. We also had the chicha morada pisco sour and that’s our favorite drink! Not to say that Lina the server is amazing.. always with kindness!

Everything was amazing. I had the plantains, empanadas, salchi Papas, ceviche mixto and the steak and eggs with rice shared with 2 friends. There was plenty to eat and was a perfect portion. It's a dog friendly restaurant with great service and i also got a limeade which was sweet and tart. It's a little pricey for Peruvian food. It is a very large space.

The server was very sweet. I popped in just for a look and U-turned with company and had lunch. The place is huge. The chicken was some of the best I have had in Brooklyn, nailing Peruvian chicken is not easy. I had the steak which was whatever, the highlight here was the half chicken. Not one bite was dry and the green aji sauce was fireworks. The margaritas came in a cool cup and seating was ample enough for two. I wish the place the best since it was empty for lunch. Hopefully dinner gets busier.

Slamming!! Haven't had good Peruvian food in some time and this place was as good as it gets!! Excellent service and food was hot! The music choice could be a bit different but I do enjoyed the steak, soup, green sauce, flan and rice pudding. I wish this place was in Staten Island. I'd be here every week!

Previously having lived on the Upper East Side and craving Pio Pio, my wife and I decided to pick up from Mikhuy last night. Mikhuy hit the spot! We got roasted chicken, salad, rice, beans, fries and plantains. Enough for at least 2 meals each! Everything was absolutely delicious - don't get me talking about the green sauce! The yellow rice and beans were some of the best I've ever had. This will certainly become a part of our delivery rotation. Still super delicious tonight after being reheated in the air fryer.

Young lady was welcoming, provided suggestions from the menu and attentive. Sangria was surprisingly delicious. Love the decor and how you feel transported instantly. Food was amazing and authentic. Will absolutely return soon.

Ive lived in the neighborhood for over a year and always just walked by this place in my way to the gym. Today I decided to walk in and try something new. The place is beautiful and the service was friendly and welcoming. The qr code menu was a bit tough to sift through, but I was able to find something I enjoyed. All in all a good experience, Ill watch this place with interest.

Great new spot in the heart of South Slope. I haven't had Peruvian ceviche this amazing in Brooklyn. The other dishes were delicious, so authentic and savory - everything you could want for a classically Peruvian craving. The pisco sours are mouth puckering and velvety. Looking forward to how they will continue to develop and utilize that great space on 5th av. The staff is vibrant and kind.

Amazing authentic Peruvian spot in Park Slope! The staff were very warm and recommended great dishes. Portions were generous and pricing very reasonable. We had Pisco Sours (specifically, Chica Sours), ceviche mixto, and lomo saltado, and 1/2 chicken. Everything was fresh and excellent. Would definitely come back!

A friend took me here for a celebration lunch and it was great. The people were very sweet and attentive, the food wonderful, excellent Sangria, and they left us alone to talk, laugh, and generally have a great time for a long time. This is a wonderful place.

Terrible experience. Waited over an hour and neither food or apology came. We had to leave without eating. Every table in the restaurant was waiting for food as we left. I guess this place is not ready yet. I will never be going back.

Server was great but food was way overpriced for the portions. Also very hot inside with no AC.

Absolutely delicious Peruvian cuisine. Ambience was amazing and the servers were all very nice. My boyfriend and I live in the neighborhood, If everything on the menu was just $5 cheaper we would be here every week!

This is my death row meal. Best Peruvian food I've had in NYC. The chicken is so flavorful and all the sides are equally as delicious. The wait staff is so nice and welcoming, impeccable service!

My friends and I spent a lovely afternoon at this restaurant. First, let me say that there is no air conditioning, but there are plenty of fans and we sat in the back next to a large shade covered window. Also, the day was not especially hot so it was bearable. The food was fresh and vibrant. We shared the guacamole appetizer and the stuffed potato. The guacamole was so fresh and tasty and it was served with fried plantains, not just chips. I had the ceviche mixto with a generous variety of fish and hot sauce on the side. The dishes my friends had looked delicious but I did not sample them, so I cannot describe them. We shared the tres leches cake and the server served it to us on an extraordinarily beautifully decorated plate with flowers made of frosting. The server could not have been more gracious and accommodating which added to the pleasure of our dining experience. Just a very pleasant experience all around.
