Atmosphere in the restaurant was very pleasant and peaceful. They also provide english menu for the foreigner as well.
The soba is homemade (There was a machine making a wheat flour inside the store !)
Overall food is good especially the soba and the shrimp tempura.

Soba was good but little bit too soft for me.
The curry was thicker than your normal Japanese curry and has some slight acidity for the taste.
Duck meat was soft and not chewy!

Soba restaurant serving handmade soba with duck. Their specialty duck curry is rich and spicy with juicy meat. Something unusual! If you are more traditional, get their Ebi Ten soba which is well-executed and safe. Expect to queue for 20mins during weekend lunch.

Went for dinner on a Sat evening at around 630pm. Had a queue but quite reasonable waiting time of about 15mins. Food is tasty and the tempura had a clean and light batter to it.

Best soba noodle in town! Must try when you visit Kusatsu♨️ good selection of sake and variety of appetizers which are all great.

It was a regular home made soba restaurant in tourist spot, but you will need to expect a long line.

We came at dinner time around 6pm and no need to queue, we ordered the signature soba and it was really yummy, since I dont like soba very much indeed. They sold out all the soba after 2 more groups of customers.

Closed for renovations. This place is excellent! The noodles and sauces are the best in town.
