MIL Design Hotel

Great location and unique theming. Good cafe next door. One downside is the cleanliness of the rooms. Make sure you ask housekeeping to clean again... while you are in the room, so you can see that they actually clean ! Found a cigarette butt and pee spots on the toilet seat when I checked in. Attention Mil Design Hotel Management !

Appealing interior and helpful friendly staff. The rooms are spacious, quiet and are well lit. The only downside during our stay was the kind of open bathroom which is designed like a public stall within the room. Kind of odd because it doesn't offer a lot of privacy. The breakfast is ok, if you just want to get a quick snack. Coffee is good!

Pardon me, took the pictures before we check out. Decent boutique hotel with reasonable pricing, the facilities they provide are sufficient. They even provided toothbrushes and toothpaste ! There's free breakfast as well, bread with scrambled eggs/kaya butter or porridge (no picture shown). The food is alright. Really love the design of the hotel ! However, the environment can be noisy at the middle of the night as you could hear cars and bikes just dashing back and forth.

The rooms are nice, good industrial design but no real clear windows and the white bedsheets had stinks. More over the service was terrible . No one told us we had to put a sign on our room to make it clean. So When we came back from our day out the room wasn't tidy, obviously. I went down and I asked them why. First they didn't know and then they told us that it was because we didn't read the back of the do not disturb sign which says make uk room (indeed we don't play with all the signs in our room). So the receptionist explained me it was my fault and that they never had this trouble with any guest before. I must be stupid then :) We also asked for the water we were supposed to get. After not getting it for thirty minutes, I called the reception to ask them if the water was soon to be delivered she told me it has already been delivered. And I had to tell her 5 times that I didn't get it before they start believing me. Several other points like not giving us breakfast coupon,... which are not so much but when they add up make a really bad impression of the service. (Oh and if you can't stand the noise of an electronic club then you should avoid this hotel..)

Service and staff - the staff is friendly enough to us because we checked in at almost 12am due to flight delay, the service is still standard, no attitude given to us. Room - design of the room is very modern and industrial, saving space in a smart way, the bed is comfy and aircond is working perfectly. Cleanliness - The floor in the room is sticky, have to wear the slipper provided by them, thin recycled fabric which dont give so much benefit of walking around the room. My husband almost fell down when he exit the toilet. I try to walk barefoot and the floor give me that cringe feeling immediatly after. Overall thoughts? - it was value for money for a small hotel in CBD area of Kuala Lumpur. Still good👍

Hotel is very new and within walking distance to the monorail station (Medan Tuanku Station). Rooms are clean and have a unique industrial feel to the overall appearance. Downsides include the lack of convenience stores nearby. At night there are illegal parking jockeys around the premise and you'll have to pay a small amount to park your cars around here.

The room is cool and very brand new. However the not safe enough eventhough the hotel has a security guard downstairs. We stay for a night and we went out for sahur about 2am and return to ou room about 4am and find out the door was ooen wide. Lucky we dont left any valueble belonging. I've try to call the receptionist and she said nobody else enter the hotel. So who else open the door???

very unique heritage feel ,comes with a very tasty n friendly cafe .U can have a cup of aroma filled coffee and some local Chinese cuisine which would make u come back for it.
