Very good Venezuelan Mexican food. The service was friendly, helpful and attentive. We had the toquerones and the shrimp quesadillas. Absolutely top notch flavours and presentation. The prices are a bit high but other than that I highly recommend.

Our friends and I had dinner. Food was absolutely delicious! Margarita’s were delicious! Atmosphere was great, great music! Service was fantastic! Family owned restaurant. Recommend making reservation. Love the decor and colors in the restaurant. We were a group of 8, consumed beverages, drinks and our entree each. Great prices.

What can I say for you to come down to Mil Sabores…. The food is Chef’s Kiss 🤌🏼, the service is phenomenal, everyone is attentive and the food was 1 delicious and 2 out quick. The decor and vibe is nice and very chill w/ a Dj.

PRICES AND MENU ITEMS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE. BEWARE THAT A GRATUITY IS AUTOMATICALLY ADDED TO YOUR BILL. If you want an overpriced dining experience with mediocre service, this is the place to go. During my visit, the service provided was extremely slow and the restaurant was not busy. There were several workers in the kitchen but unfortunately, they were unable to expedite. It felt like our server forgot about us as well. Drinks were slow and follow-up was poor. I ordered the Pepito, which was advertised as an $18 sandwich, which I thought was a little pricey for a sandwich but I figured I'd give it a try. I thought it was weird being wrapped in parchment paper. Once I took a couple of bites, I realized why. The sandwich completely broke apart. It was messy and uninviting. There's no way to eat this without needing a fork. To make matters worse, when I got the bill, I realized I was charged $22. This "sandwich" is NOT worth $22. According to the server all menu items are subject to price changes. UNACCEPTABLE! By the way, if you are going to automatically add a gratuity, make sure you are providing the service to justify it.

First time trying mil sabores and was not disappointed! Had the matcha drink, Nutella crepe’s and strawberry and cream waffle (my favorite!!) the waitress was very friendly and welcome will definitely recommend!!

Google
I really love this place, the vibe is great, music is on point, food is amazing. We did brunch, bottomless mimosas, filled soon as it's empty, just like I like it. Great family spot if you got kids, the owner is an awsome guy, will be coming back... a lot!!

Google
I’ve been coming here for a while now, and I’ve got to say it never disappoints. The food is seriously amazing – every dish is packed with flavor and just hits the spot. Plus, the atmosphere is so chill and inviting, it feels like you’re catching up with friends even if you’re just there solo. Honestly, whenever I’m craving good food, this is the one place I know I can always count on.

Google
I love their food- incredibly flavorful birria and cachapa are amazing. It’s gorgeous inside. BUT, it’s very difficult to find an updated menu since they don’t have a website and instagram/facebook isn’t updated. We ordered based off the last menu we could find (less than 2 years ago) and we were shocked to see the total as $20 more than expected. The surprise of each item we ordered being $5-10 more PER ITEM than we saw on the menu was frustrating. We will eventually be back because of the quality but they are a very popular spot now and need to communicate their prices accurately to customers. Birria burrito menu price- $12– charged $21 Birria platter menu price- $18– we paid $23 Chicken Cachapa menu price $15- charged $19

Yelp
I came prepared to be underwhelmed but left thoroughly impressed. The flavors stay consistent and the service stays attentive. The restaurant crew showed remarkable dedication. They understand ingredient importance. I intend to return to this place to dine.

Yelp
I would give this place zero stars if I could. My friend put a $50 deposit down because we had a party of 6 people... fine, no problem, whatever. My husband and I, and my friend got there, expecting to be seated. They had a reserved table for us, but because "all of us were not there yet" we were told we couldn't sit there and were told to either wait outside in the rain, or sit at the bar. It's not like our table wasn't ready... it was being held for us. It was EMPTY. No one else was sitting there! and this hostess wasn't allowing us to sit at the table that we paid for because it was "policy". How you gonna make us pay $50 for a table and not let us sit at the very table we paid for?! Makes no sense!! She didn't let us sit there until 5 out of the 6 people showed up. The food was okay, but they messed up our order. My friend ordered a chicken and cheese quesadilla... and they only gave him a cheese quesadilla. Whatever, not a big deal. The server was extremely nice, friendly and since I have a sensitivity to spicy food, he made sure whatever I ordered didn't contain anything too hot or had peppers in it. The server gets five stars for sure, but that b*** of a hostess sealed the deal for me where I will never come back. You lost business of 6 people. She deserves to be fired

Yelp
What an amazing experience and I definitely have to come back. It's not a huge place but the atmosphere and scenery is amazing. The bar area is nice and the seating area isn't the biggest but it gives a more intimate experience. I had the street corn to start and although I'm a fan of on the cob it was still just as good off and the chips to dip with were so good too. Then I got the barria tacos with queso. I tell you those were the best barria tacos I've ever had. I'm not really a dessert guy but the service was so great that I was convinced into getting the tres leches and it did not disappoint. This was overall a great experience and I can't wait to come back again for "Taco Tuesday"!!!

Yelp
I called to have a review of my bill. Beware there is an automatic tip applied to check. They state that it is highlighted on menu The manager does not speak English name quote Jelly. ATablespon of sou cream is $3.00. The person that answered the phone was extremely rude and dismissive. I will never go back and do not recommend. due to the service and explanation of bill.

Yelp
I went here this weekend right when it opened. It wasn't very busy . We were able to speak with the bartender and other staff are very polite and friendly. I ordered the horchata and birria rolls. Thr horchata came in a mason jar mug, not the biggest and was pretty good. The birria rolls were good too. My boyfriend had a burrito which was massive. My mom had a mojito pictured. The decor is phenomenal. They just moved to this location a few months ago. The bathroom is elegant. There are photo op opportunities. I found the prices too be to high for the food, but I guess you are paying for the ambiance.

Yelp
After loving the birria tacos with consomé from their smaller original location, I was eager to try this newer, bigger, aesthetic one. I came here for Taco Tuesday; There were 3 for $10 taco deals as well as $10 margaritas. The staff were super nice and great but the food fell short of that. We ordered the guac and chips as an appetizer. It was the first time we tasted cold guacamole; the pieces of tomatoes were almost icy. Makes me conclude, not everything is made fresh to the order. I'm used to that high quality table side guac. This one couldn't compare. The meat from my carnita taco was tough, should have been tender. The chicken and the steak tacos were mid. The birria taco bowl was drizzled with a weird cheese whiz and the meat was pretty dry for birria. I prefer real cheese. The rice was also weird; it had green peas and stuff mixed in. Not the best combination. The margaritas were served in small glasses filled with ice. I had a few, it was tasty, but smaller than average drink portion. This spot was nice and clean. I love the vibrant contrasting colors and decor, but I wouldn't care to come again anytime soon.

Yelp
Mil Sabores is such a welcome addition to the neighborhood. Excellent food, great service, good prices. However, on Sunday, May 4, 2025, Mil Sabores hosted a Cinco de Mayo fiesta in the parking lot behind the restaurant that was so decibel-shattering that it shook the windows and foundations of my house, which is just around the corner. We couldn't even speak inside my home. Not very neighborly-minded at all of Mil Sabores. Have some regard for the vizinhos!

Jeff M.

Yelp
The worst place to order uber eats. They will take your order and never deliver on time. Poor business model to make someone wait over an hour past scheduled delivery. They don't even answer their phone so you can be updated . Not worth the money quality has really gone down .

Yelp
First time going to this place that is new or newish to Black Rock area of Bridgeport. The place has fun lively decore but the stand out is the AMAZING flavors in their food. The Birria tacos was a whole another level of culinary delight. Seems like these taco is what made the owner famous when they were a food truck and I can see why they were successful. I will definitely be coming back. Oh, btw, the sangria is the bomb, too

Jessica M.

Yelp
I recommended this place to my son and his girlfriend for her birthday, and they went with a group of six. I was shocked to hear that they waited 35 minutes just to have their order taken--especially because my own past experience there was not bad at all. What made it even more disappointing was that it wasn't even that busy. While they said the food was good, there was no acknowledgment or apology for the long wait, which made it feel like the poor service was just brushed off. I really wanted this to be a great birthday dinner for them, but sadly, it missed the mark.

Laura G.

Yelp
We went around 11:20AM. They had insanely loud club type music, you couldn't hear anything others were saying. Wild that they had music that loud in the morning/noon. It took 1 hour to get our food and they took their time doing marketing first by recording the food before giving it to us. Food was mid, especially the nachos. They forgot parts of our order and were going to charge us for them anyway until we said something. The food we ordered was not complicated to make, not sure what took them so long. Very disappointed. The waiters are nice. We walked out. Edit: They STOLE from us. We all did separate checks. I ordered nachos and lemonades and when I paid it was $34 dollars. I look at my bank account and they added $100 to the charge!!! Never coming back!!! The owner also doesn't take any accountability and comes after anyone who puts a bad review.

Yelp
Food, drinks, atmosphere and service were amazing. Highly recommend the birria tacos and guacamole. We'll definitely be back!

Yelp
"At the beginning, arepas were the star," Mondragon says. "We kept them very authentic. I did my homework and research on arepas, and I asked my mother-in-law for advice, too. And we started doing some fusion with Mexican flavors by using pico de gallo and stuff like that. The Mil Sabores arepa (pernil, sweet plantains, avocado, shredded cheese) was and still is a big seller. It's salty, sweet, and creamy. I try to come up with creative things, and it's why you don't see basic arepas on the menu." But if arepas were Mil Sabores' "original star," what put them on the map were their birria tacos. And no, they didn't hop on the birria trend, Mil Sabores get a lot of credit when it comes to being one of Connecticut's first to sling deeply flavorful shredded beef and cheese griddled tacos with a sidecar of beefy consommé dip.

Melissa S.

Yelp
AMAZING! Birria tacos may have been one of the best things I've ever had, wow! Everyone love their food there was Burria Ramen and other tacos also great. Plantains so good! Margaritas just ok and wish they offered larger size options and didn't love nachos, not a lot of cheese, on the dry side. Place was adorable and service was fantastic! Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Run, dont walk to Mil Sabores!! You do not wanna miss out on their delicious flavorful tacos and stuffed arepas. Hands down my favorite tacos in CT and I dont make that statement lightly. I've brought multiple friends here who now all go on a weekly basis it's addictive. Especially with their taco Tuesday specials. The service is quick and friendly and i love the vibe. Cant wait until they open their new location. I can't recommend here enough. Everything on the menu is great. I love the birria tacos and consome but my all time favorite is a pernil arepa!

Yelp
We dined last night for the first time, a party of four (two adult couples). The food was good, but it was extremely off-putting that we charged an automatic 20% gratuity on the bill for a "large party." A few things... 1.) I have worked in service and a large party is never less than 6 people. 2.) The charge was not indicated by the server, which led me to believe he was hoping I wouldn't notice, and tip twice. 3.) I usually tip 25%, so it's your waiter's loss. Not mine. We will not be back. Please assess your business practices. This was a shifty move.

Sam D.

Yelp
If you haven't been to Mil Sabores yet, you're seriously missing out! The vibe in the restaurant is just amazing - great atmosphere and the music is always spot-on. I love keeping the drinks coming, especially the michelada; it's a must try. My absolute favorite dish is the Mil Sabores arepa. It's got the balance of savory and sweet that's just divine. My mom's obsessed with the birria tacos, and honestly, so are a lot of other people. The patio was a nice addition.

Dave M.

Yelp
Wonderful food , great menu , place was packed on a Tuesday night. Service was a bit choppy , but staff were really nice and welcoming.

Philip J.

Yelp
Nice location on Fairfield Ave in Black Rock. Restaurant space and decorations are nice. We sat outside on an unusually warm afternoon in October and liked the outdoor space. Service was good. Food was very good.

Yelp
Attentive service and delicious birria! So excited for their brick and mortar location

Denise C.

Yelp
Way too bright in there I stopped going so have a couple of my friends. I had asked the owner/bartender if he can lower the lights and he said no, they're on a timer.BS

G E.

Yelp
They are very unorganized, the food takes too long to come out and way too pricy. The personnel needs to learn customer service and waitressing skills. They took away the sauces while we were using them. You have to ask for utensils and napkins. I will not go back!
google avatar

Justin O.

Yelp
Wow, absolutely remarkable! This is my first time eating Birria, so not much to compare to, but all I know is I can't wait till we can go back again! I believe Birria is served on Thursdays - Sundays. They also have a restaurant opening in Bridgeport. Primary location for truck is by Norwalk Library. They accept Venmo! Check out their Instagram for the most up to date info.

Yelp
I came here today hoping that all the hype I hear was real and it was worth it. Let me tell you it most certainly is worth it. I found parking around the the corner on N Main S. The truck is parked on Washington St. I waited a while on line patiently for about 40 minutes before it was my time to order my food. The guy Edwin was nice and very polite. He was helpful since this was my first time here explaining the differences between what they carried. I ordered the beef quesadilla, consome, jarritos the fruit punch flavor and 3 beef quesatacos. Which came to $47, so a little pricier than I expected but no biggie. It took about 20 mins for all the food to cook. I took my food happy to the car and headed out. I tried the tacos first with the green sauce and consome. Omg it was good. There was a light sweetness but the green sauce spiced it up nicely and the consome was very good too nice tanginess. Got home and tried the quesadilla. Wow, all I can say is wow. This is hearty, loaded and full of flavor. It came with red and green sauce too and even a sour cream. Everything was perfectly cooked, crispy and flavorful. Best experience and the hype was all real here. I have only three comments, parking can be a bit of a pain even on Sunday, they start at 2pm on Sundays currently so you might want to get there a little before to help avoid the crowds and they weren't taking credit card. Only cash or payment services like cashapp, zelle, etc. Wasn't aware of this when I got there. Other than those 3, everything was perfect and I highly highly recommend you spotting by for a bite. You won't be disappointed.

Yelp
Following Yelp's Top Trends to Try in 2021, my friends and I went on a most excellent food adventure yesterday. In search of the very buzz worthy Birria taco, we headed south to Norwalk and not only found authentic Birria Quesitacos, but also a really awesome Birria Pizzadilla! It was our first time trying Birria and it will most definitely not be the last. Pro tip: Birria is only available on Sundays at the Mil Sabores food truck, but definitely worth the wait every week. It's a well oiled machine inside of the truck and they crank those tacos out! I did a little research before we left for Mil Sabores. Birria is a traditional Mexican dish, that originated in the Jalisco state, traditionally made with goat meat, but now made with beef. The word birria means "exquisite savory dish, full of culture and tradition." They shred the meat, heat up the tortilla and dip it in a broth before adding cheese and serving it with onion, cilantro, salsa and lime. You can dip your tacos into a Consome which is a stew with dried chiles and other spices and shredded beef. Some of the flavors involved are guajillo, ancho, and chipotle peppers and spices like cumin, thyme, oregano, marjoram, cinnamon and cloves. We got to Norwalk and immediately ordered our food from the truck. The line wasn't that bad at all, but it did get longer after we ordered. It was a cold day, so when we picked up our bag of Quesitacos and more, we headed to our heated car and had one of the best meals ever! My first bite of the Birria Quesitaco was like nothing I have ever tasted before. Spicy and yet a little hint of sweet, maybe that's the clove or cinnamon, but sign me up, because I had three more after the first one! They were that good. I was also dipping my tacos into the consome and it had a really nice spice to it. The tacos come with lime wedges, radish and a nice hot green sauce. I gave my tacos a good lime squeeze and also added the hot sauce before dipping it into the consome. Yasssss!! Outstanding! We also ordered the Birria Pizzadilla. The pizza box it came in was heavy when I picked it up. Very impressive! It serves three to four people and I would recommend this as a great party offering if you are ever looking to wow a host! Cheese, Birria, grilled tortilla, sour cream and salsa. So unique and delicious. We also tried a Horchata and Maracuya. Horchata is a popular Mexican drink that is made out of rice, milk, vanilla and cinnamon. It tasted like rice pudding and I loved it. The Maracuya is a sweet passion fruit juice blend. My friend really like that one. Overall, it was a true pilgrimage to Norwalk to find the Mil Sabores food truck and that led us to some really amazing Birria! I'm always up for fun road trips that lead you to some place or something that you've never seen or had before and that's exactly what we got. Make your plans for a future Sunday now! #yelpconnecticut #yelptoptrends #BelongsOnYelp #Birria #BirriaTacos #norwalk #quesitaco #pizzadilla

Yelp
Great fish tacos and burrito bowl with pulled pork is amazing. Sauces and condiments great addition. This is our second time getting food here this week.

Amanda F.

Yelp
My absolute favorite restaurant. Always come by here whenever I get the chance. 10/10 recommend it to all my friends and family. Best shrimp taco ever.

Brenda S.

Yelp
I never had Birria Tacos in my life and I been wanting to try for the longest. So lucky I seen a friend post the location on Instagram and I knew it was near me. So I went for the drive. Let me tell you once I took a bite into that taco and dipped it with the consume it just melted in my mouth. By far delicious. I recommend anyone to try!! Over all 5 star!
google avatar

Chuck D.

Yelp
Excellent excellent food. Great menu with lots of options. The owners are great people. Very humble. But the food is what stands out. The arepas rellenas are packed with flavor. They season their meats just right.
google avatar

Audrey S.

Yelp
Waited an hour to try these! So so so good and worth it. Cash only but zelle and cash app available. 2nd time trying barria tacos and this is the top place to grab in Connecticut. Sundays only.

Melissa S.

Yelp
Wow! Mil Sabores is a MUST TRY!! The service was phenomenal. The food was absolutely out of this world. We got platanos, birria pizza, burrito bowl, and churros with non-alcoholic beverages like horchata and passion fruit. So good! The restaurant has a cozy and loved space plus great music. I can't wait to come back!
google avatar

Stefanie J.

Yelp
Delicious! Birria tacos are filled to the max and the patacón sandwiches are phenomenal. I have 4 out of 5 stars because you don't get to choose your own tip. 16% tip is automatically added and I didn't know until I went to pay. Could make a big difference if you're intending to only spend a certain amount. Only figured this out after looking at a paper menu (states it on the bottom).

Lauren A.

Yelp
Run don't walk to Mil Sabores! Arepas, burritos, empanadas, the list of incredible options is endless. The two signature sauces they provide are out of this world! Cannot recommend this place enough.
google avatar

Luis G.

Yelp
Simply amazing food. If you want tacos the birria tacos are a no brained. Ask for extra napkins since you will definitely need them. The arepas are mind blowing. Tender meat and so many flavors. Super excited they're opening a spot close to me in Bridgeport. The only downside is the long line but that's also a good sign that the food is great! You won't be disappointed. So many fresh flavors and it's not spicy.

Cheryl E.

Yelp
Very fresh, crunchy things were crunchy, hot things were nice and hot, so delicious. Maduros were particularly excellent.
google avatar

Amaryllis M.

Yelp
Best Birria tacos hands down, if you're in Fairfield county give them a visit. You won't regret it!!

Sam C.

Yelp
This place is very unprofessional. A woman working there was taking a wedgy out of her butt (outside of pants) and handling money. When i asked her to wash her hands she was very nasty towards me. I asked to speak to a manager an she replied she's the owner. I replied i no longer want the food an she called the police saying i placed a order, didnt want the food, and didnt want to pay for it.

Paulino R.

Yelp
Quality and flavor is no longer the same. Seems like the original cook whom had the truck prior to the opening did it best. Different cooks and the prices are much higher. Very sad to see what used to be the best in CT. I hope they can come back.
google avatar

Michelle S.

Yelp
We drove by a few times and noted the long lines so when it was time for dinner we decided to go back. It was about 7 pm on Sunday night so they were out of some items. We ended up each getting 2 of the Birria Quesitacos and an order of Birria Consome. The food and service did not disappoint. The food was flavorful though I passed on any additional sauces since I don't care for my food being too spicy. I am from IL and will definitely look them up again if I visit Norwalk again.
google avatar

Taylor P.

Yelp
The absolute best Birria I've ever had! All of my friends went crazy for it, I'll definitely be back Sunday :) Thank you guys so much!

Ashley G.

Yelp
So delicious. Went for Sunday birria specials. We got the birria quesitacos and they were so delicious I also got the ramen and that was so good too. I definitely recommend coming to this food truck in Norwalk. Super friendly and very delicious food. I would of liked a menu posted on the truck or at least in their Instagram highlights instead of scrolling through posts to find the menu- but Edwin was there to help us choose what to order

Sam S.

Yelp
Great food. Owner couldn't have been more helpful in choosing our meals. Highly recommend!

Elmer R.

Yelp
This place serves great and authentic food with an awesome menu. And the Best Birria in CT definitely worth the wait. Get the Birria Pizza it will change your life

Shakie M.

Yelp
the food is very delicious customer service is outstanding food service is quick you can also call ahead of time like I did and have your food ready before you're there nice hot and fresh highly recommend
