The one star is because the staff was “nice” not because of the information process or products.
This was my first experience, the staff was very kind and professional, I left feeling great but was very soon disappointed. Since this was my first experience with prosthetics, I didn’t know there were multiple options available — and unfortunately, no one explained that to me. I was only offered and shown one, so I didn’t have the information I needed to really make an informed decision.
The prosthetic I received doesn’t fit flush against my skin, which I would have really loved.
When I got home from the appt I took a picture and found the “exact” same product (ABC 1042) on Amazon for less than half of what was charged to my insurance. While I understand pricing can vary, I expected better communication and guidance during the process.
I would encourage this business to take more time educating patients about their options to help them make choices that best suit their comfort and need. And the bras if I could cancel I would, I’ll never wear them. I mean I was given a filler cup for the side that I didn’t have surgery so it doesn’t gap.
