Milano Tourist Rest

My stay in this hotel turned into a real treat! Cleanliness, an especially gentle, helpful and efficient staff, a good cuisine and an excellent Customer Service, meals in a lovely and tended garden, very comfortable beds. This and much more is what you can expect from this mid-range very good value hotel.

I had a wonderful time at the Milano tourist rest. The staff are so friendly and professional and I was particularly impressed by the hotel manager and receptionist Miss Wendy. Her smile and friendly nature was very comforting to a solo traveller. Food was also very good, I particularly liked the hoppers for breakfast.

The room and the design was basic but it did the trick. There's space on the balcony and terrace to chill in the evenings. The breakfast was plenty and delicious. City center is only a few minutes by Tuktuk but still good to reach on foot. The receptionists were very helpful and gave good tips for food and activities for exploring the town. Also when the AC was out in our room one of the receptionists fixed the problem in just 5 minutes!

Excellent hospitality and great food. Easy access to historical sites. Enjoyed our stay a lot!

A decent hotel at a good spot in Anuradhapura. The hotel has a nice garden and atrium, but the rooms are very outdated; lamps not working, cramped shower, curtain rails broken. The AC worked and the bed was fine, which I guess is the most important part. The guy running the place is super friendly and polite. We had dinner here, which was alright, and breakfast, which was very standard (toast, tea, jam, omelet, fruits). We went to the temples in the morning and could leave our bags in the room, which was very nice of them. The service makes this place.

To me, the best place in Sri Lanka. Great rooms, price, breakfast and away from noise with a beautiful garden. The manager is the greatest host we’ve met in our trip and couldn’t regret a second our decision to stay there. He’s the absolute best and made us feel at home

The place was clean, the staff very friendly and attentive. The room had AC, which actually worked, hot water, mosquito net. All one needs. They even provided a place to sleep for my driver, and a parking place free of charge. Very pleasant stay.

We are a young couple traveling in Sri Lanka. We spent one night in this establishment, the staff is lovely and very attentive, the location is perfect, the rooms are spacious and well maintained. The meal in the garden is very pleasant. We recommend it for one night or more to visit the region.
