Milano Verticale | UNA Esperienze (Milan, Lombardy) 1 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Just outside the historical city center, in the up-and-coming Porta Nuova/Garibaldi design district, it’s a different world, a thoroughly modern city of skyscrapers in steel and glass. This is the natural habitat of Milano Verticale | UNA Esperienze, an ultra-modern, ultra-urban luxury design hotel by the well-known UNA hotel brand. Expect views unlike any other, along with sleek, modernist inspired rooms and suites, a fitness and wellness area, and a couple of restaurants, including the fine-dining ANIMA as well as Vertigo, a contemporary osteria with a bar that opens onto a delightful private garden." - Tablet Hotels

I was super disappointed by Milano Verticale. I was hosting a large group of architects and designers and chose this hotel because it looked well designed and had good reviews. To begin the poor first impression, the hotel staff did not have the updated booking information from Booking.com and told our guests that they were not registered in the system, even though I had a copy of the bookings in their names. The evening staff seemed generally uninterested in providing a good first impression, and it took too long to sort everything out. They even assumed we were a different group because we happened to be of the same ethnic background (no similarity in names) Secondly, the smell of the hallways were terrible and stale, as if the carpets always remained damp. The room was spacious but did not feel clean, despite looking like it had been serviced. When I went into the bathroom I found blood splatters in the bidet and on the shower wall. When I brought it to the staff attention the next day, they were very apologetic but they claimed it was dried soap. I cannot prove otherwise, but I really doubt it. The food made us feel sick both after dinner and after breakfast. There was something about the quality of it that just sat in your stomach like a brick. The coffee was a highlight though, and was actually really nice. Overall, I would never come back to this hotel which is unfortunate as it's well located and the rooms are spacious. So much potential but needs a good clean and an overhaul of the food.

Pretty but .....don't bother! We were excited and decided to pay more than normal to have a good experience based on the exciting ads on their website and pictures, even though it was quite far from the Centre. On arrival, we were told that the rooftop is closed, the fine dining is closed and there were no people around. We were the only 2 in the bar for a drink. We felt we overpaid for what was opened. The current room rate was 1/2 the price, which I mentioned to them, but they didn't care. Two people cannot walk in the room at the same time and no where to put your suitcases or any dresser to unpack. Don't bother!

We had a fantastic stay at Milano Verticale! The hotel is stylish, comfortable, and located perfectly for exploring the city (close train attractions and chain town!). But what really stood out was the exceptional hospitality. We had a small mix-up with a minibar bottle, and the staff handled it with such kindness, humor, and generosity 😊 It’s a true testimony to the Italian warmth and professionalism. Highly recommend staying here — and we’ll definitely be back. Thank you for making our trip even more memorable!

Lovely hotel, and thank you Farid! ||We stayed here for a night whilst touring Milan, and the room was clean and spacious. Couldn’t complain. ||Breakfast was fine aswell. ||At first when we came we saw a bit of a kerfuffle with another customer and one receptionist, but we were speaking to one receptionist called Farid, he was AMAZING. So lovely, he also changed our two rooms so they can be near each other. ||Thank you so much Farid, you made our stay! ||Chow!

I forgot to take photos of the room we had here, but it was phenomenal! Very well appointed, the hotel is located in a quiet but central part of the city, not too far away from the shops and city centre. Chiara went above and beyond in collecting an order I made and sending it up to our room. Upon arrival, she was so thorough in her explanation of the hotel’s breakfast and facilities. She was so friendly and polite, attentive to our needs, and went above and beyond in organising chocolates to celebrate my wife and I being on our honeymoon! The card and chocolates blew us over. Breakfast each morning was such a treat, eggs and omelettes are by request and the chefs do such a phenomenal job. There’s nothing like an Italian breakfast! We can’t recommend this hotel enough!

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel in Milan. The room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise with a great variety to choose from, definitely something for everyone. The Receptionists are a little bit slow. But maybe that's just an Italian thing. However the staff at the breakfast we on point. The location is excellent—many of Milan’s main sights are within walking distance, which made sightseeing super convenient. Would happily stay here again and recommend it to others!

Hotel Milano Verticale is a very nice hotel. It’s quite new, the reception and lobby are modern. The reception was very friendly and helpful when I arrived early and had to store my luggage. The process of check-in took a little while, so there’s some efficiency gain. I had a room on the 6th floor which was not all too big but I certainly liked the atmosphere. The double bed was very good. Although the surrounding is a little bit noisy due to the tram, the sound isolation is very good. I had a small balcony so I could sit in the sun in the morning. The breakfast was good and there was enough choice. The Brera district is around ten minute walking distance and the Piazza del Duomo is 25 minutes. The station Garibaldi is about 5 minutes.
